    This was my first stay at a Vessel Hotel, and I had a comfortable time.

    We stayed here this time because it was conveniently located about halfway between Hitoshi Honten for dinner and the ferry terminal for the next morning. What stood out most was Vessel’s highly rated breakfast buffet—an excellent spread with plenty of variety. The staff were also cheerful and kind, which made our stay very comfortable. The only downside was that there is no large public bath; however, the unit bath comes with bath salts, and the sink/vanity area is separate outside the bathroom, so it was acceptable. The rooms and amenities were cleaner than the exterior might suggest, and with larger windows and a layout that feels spacious. While in-room drink amenities are limited, detox water and mango-pine juice are available in the lobby for a relatively long time. There’s also a FamilyMart just a short walk away (and vending machines on-site), so we had no trouble at all. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

    I was drawn in by the high Reviews, but…

    This time, I stayed two nights before and two nights after a two-night trip to Kohama Island. For the first half, I was upgraded to a twin room on the 7th floor; for the second half, it was a semi-double on the 2nd floor... If they were going to upgrade me anyway, I wish it had been for the latter stay. I can accept that the breakfast area is small, but it still takes about a 10-minute walk to both the ferry terminal and downtown, so it wasn’t very convenient. Even the convenience store is a bit far... Next time, I’d like to stay at a different Hotel.

    The breakfast is delicious.

    Thank you for hosting us for a two-night stay. We appreciate the room upgrade, and the view of the harbor from our room was delightful and comfortable. However, as it takes about 7-8 minutes to walk from the harbor, pulling suitcases might be a bit challenging for elderly guests. The breakfast featured Okinawan specialties, and we enjoyed how the variety of dishes changed slightly each day during our multiple night stay. It was delicious—thank you! Although it was unfortunate that ferries to remote islands were canceled due to strong winds, we took this opportunity to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and explore the local shopping street at a relaxed pace instead of heading out for sightseeing. It turned out to be an unexpectedly pleasant experience. While taking a break at A&W in the shopping street, we had an amazing encounter with musician M who happened to visit and treated us to an impromptu performance on the shamisen—it became such a memorable moment. In the evening, thank you for lending us complimentary bicycles. The restaurant we reserved was too far on foot, so this service was very helpful. However, one of the two bicycles had significant rust issues and its light wasn’t working. Since it’s dangerous at night without proper lighting, we kindly request improvements regarding maintenance of both rust and lights. Thank you again for your hospitality!

    It was very comfortable.

    The room is spacious, the bed is large, and the amenities are well-equipped. The breakfast was also very delicious. The only dissatisfaction was that the bathroom is limited to a unit bath.

    Overall, a very good Hotel!

    The front desk staff at check-in was very kind and helpful, providing us with lots of useful information. We also enjoyed the awamori tasting and free drinks! It was great that Euglena Mall, restaurants, and the ferry terminal to remote islands were all within a 5-10 minute walking distance!

    Thank you for your stay at the end of September.

    During our trip, we spent little time at the Hotel due to an optional tour from Ishigaki Port, but the Facility was clean and equipped with all necessary amenities and services. Regarding the bath/Onsen, we had prior understanding, so we rated it as average. Overall, considering the price and value, we were satisfied. We would definitely like to stay again if given another opportunity.

    Single Room with Breakfast Included

    The room is spacious. Service is polite with a smile. The private bathroom in the room is slightly small. Unlimited drinks, including tea, juice, and 8 types of Awamori, are available at the front desk. There are many coin-operated laundry machines, including dryers for swimwear. The breakfast buffet features many local dishes; the taste is decent.

    I stayed for two nig...

    I stayed for two nights, and the Room was very clean and spacious, with a large bed that allowed me to relax comfortably. Although the bathroom was not separate, the bathtub was large enough to stretch out my legs. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including local dishes and drinks, which were all very delicious. I believe this Business Hotel exceeds expectations in every aspect. It is also within walking distance of the remote island terminal and downtown area with restaurants, making it extremely convenient. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Ishigaki Island.

    Stayed for 2 nights ...

    Stayed for 2 nights in August. Being almost high season, the price felt a bit high, but I enjoyed the welcome drink and live performances by local artists at night. The breakfast was delicious—I wish I had taken more time to enjoy it (I headed out quickly for sightseeing and activities). The location is within walking distance of both the remote island terminal and the town, making it easy to explore and get a feel for Ishigaki Island. I also liked that you take off your shoes in the Room. Although it's hard to visit here often, I'd love to try other Vessel Hotels in the future!

    The breakfast is understandably popular.

    The shoe-free policy was the best part. The view from the 4th floor was not very impressive, but the quiet location allowed for a relaxing stay. There were no noises from neighboring or upper/lower rooms. The popular breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes with excellent flavors. The rice dish featured sushi rice made with red vinegar, topped with tuna and grated yam, and garnished with sea grapes.

    Comfortable Stay

    Stayed for 3 nights. The location is a short walk from the remote island terminal and Euglena Mall, but it’s not an issue. The Room was spacious enough despite the slightly small bathroom, allowing for a comfortable stay. It was convenient to be able to exchange towels ourselves. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including DIY seafood bowls and three flavors of Blue Seal ice cream, all delicious. The water dispenser and numerous coin laundry machines were very handy features. The only downside was that the window view faced a neighboring building. I would consider this Hotel again if I visit the area in the future.

    Highly recommended.

    The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water in the bath. All the staff are kind. Highly recommended.

    Conveniently located near the port.

    We stayed the night before to go to Kohama Island in the morning. It was convenient as it was within walking distance from the port, even with a 3-year-old child. The Room was small but had everything we needed, and it was clean and comfortable.

    I always use this property for stays on Ishigaki Island. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. It's also good that you can walk to the remote island terminal.

    Writing is not to my liking.

    The Room was spacious and clean, the staff were pleasant, and the breakfast was delicious, but the indoor lighting was too bright for my taste and I couldn't relax. It would have been nice to have a dimmable floor lamp. Also, the shape of the bathtub seemed slippery and was a bit scary. Additionally, at night, the parking lot within the Hotel premises was full, and it was inconvenient to park at the third parking lot.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    Since our Room was upgraded, we were able to spend our two-night stay comfortably in a spacious Room. Amenities and towels are available in a buffet style, allowing you to take what you need, but it might be better to bring your own familiar skincare products. Bath salts were also provided, but the bathtub is narrow, so it's not suitable for a long soak. The breakfast is quite impressive for a Hotel in this price range. It was delightful to find two types of Blue Seal ice cream (changing daily?) in the dessert corner. Additionally, the free bicycle rental for up to two hours was convenient for shopping at a nearby supermarket. The area around the Hotel is not very crowded during the day and is dark at night, so it might be wise to be cautious. It would have been even better if there was mineral water available in the Room.

    The hotel I use the most in Ishigaki.

    This is the hotel I use the most in Ishigaki Island. I'm delighted that the breakfast level has improved. I've been using it every year for about 7-8 years, but I feel a bit disappointed when I'm asked at the front desk if it's my first time using the hotel. In Okinawa, many hotels say "Welcome back," so I think it would be nice to have a word for repeat customers.
