    It was a Reservation for a non-smoking Room, but…

    From the moment I entered the Room, there was an obvious and overwhelming smell of cigarettes and other unpleasant odors. There seemed to be many guests related to the Inter-High event, so I assumed the hotel was fully booked even if I asked to change Rooms. I also felt it would not be acceptable to place high school students in a Room with such a strong cigarette smell, so I kept quiet and endured it... However, the odor was so severe that I wish someone had at least mentioned it in advance in some way. Assigning a non-smoking Reservation guest a Room with that much lingering smoke odor is simply unacceptable. I was also concerned about the black stains behind the toilet tank. Other than that, everything was good.

    It was so relaxing!

    I stayed for one night on a business trip. I chose this Hotel because I wanted to enjoy a large bath, and the Onsen was incredibly relaxing. The shower head was also a ReFa Fine Bubble, which I had been wanting to try, so I was very pleased. Breakfast was delicious—I ended up eating too much. The Hotel Room was spacious and comfortable. I also appreciated the attentive support with arranging a taxi and lending me an iron.

    Absolutely delicious.

    I love Dormy Inn’s late-night noodles, post-bath ice cream and drinks, and breakfast. It had been a while since my last stay, but the ramen here is still delicious. The seafood bowl, clam soup, fruit, and peach juice were also great. I really liked the sweets provided in the Room as well. I’m a bit worried about gaining weight because I ate too much, but thank you for a wonderful stay.

    We have a Room for four guests.

    Due to Reservation and Room availability, we were unexpectedly moved from a twin Room to a Japanese-Western style Room. It was very spacious, and we wondered if it was okay for just two of us to stay in a four-person Room. We were able to relax comfortably. We really appreciated the wide range of services and thoughtful touches throughout this Hotel. We would love to stay again. It would be great if there were perks that accumulate like mileage for repeat stays. Also, making a Reservation through IKYU is easier than booking directly with the Hotel.

    I stayed here with my wife.

    I was able to take a sudden day off and stayed here with my wife. We arrived a little before 3:00 PM, but they kindly let us check in. The Onsen was not crowded, so it was very relaxing. Breakfast the next morning was also delicious—just one small suggestion: it would be even better if there were curry. Still, it easily exceeded my expectations. Just this old guy’s opinion. The photo is Wakayama Castle, which we visited for sightseeing the next day—the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.

    The breakfast buffet was excellent!

    It was great to be able to enjoy a seafood rice bowl for breakfast. The large public bath is also an Onsen, and the showers can be set to jet or mist modes. The changing area was well cleaned and very tidy. There were complimentary ice cream and probiotic drinks, and massage chairs were available as well, so the after-bath services were excellent. However, for one night, I felt the parking fee was higher than nearby parking lots.

    The breakfast was excellent!

    The salmon and salmon roe, as well as the marinated tuna rice bowl for breakfast, were absolutely delicious! You can also enjoy a fresh and tasty salad with all fresh vegetables. They even had juice made from my favorite "Arakawa peaches"! The coffee was excellent, and takeout was available too—making it a truly satisfying breakfast! I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

    The first thing that surprised me upon entering the Room was the mix of hangers in the closet—some from cleaning services and others proper ones, which is something I rarely see even in small privately-run Hotels in rural areas. Additionally, the toilet had an odor, and the sink drainage was very slow. As for breakfast, regardless of taste, I felt it did not match its 2,500 yen price point. The breakfast at a Hotel near Izumisano Station costs less than 2,000 yen and is satisfying, so this one was quite disappointing. I stay at Hotels about 35 times a year but will not be returning to this one. However, its location near the station is convenient.

    I had a relaxing and comfortable stay.

    When staying in Wakayama, I always choose this place. The Onsen large bath allows for a relaxing experience, and the seafood rice bowl for breakfast is delicious.

    Here is an estimate of the cost.

    I stayed at the accommodation assuming my partner would pick me up due to post-liposuction recovery. I had confirmed with the front desk earlier that parking would cost 1,500 yen, so I thought I would pay during checkout. However, when my partner arrived, they paid 600 yen, and then I also made a payment. Eventually, the staff realized their mistake and clarified that 600 yen was sufficient. But what was the point of the prior confirmation? Most hotels usually ask whether a receipt is needed—don’t they do that here? While I admit I've forgotten things and caused inconvenience later on, it left me questioning some aspects despite how delicious the meals were.

    Impressive Breakfast

    I stayed here during a business trip. As it was late at night, I only used the shower and couldn't try the complimentary "Yonaki Soba." However, the breakfast was excellent. The seafood rice bowl with local whitebait was outstanding. Additionally, the Arakawa peach juice served was incredibly delicious.

    Very satisfied.

    The room was compact but had a well-thought-out layout for convenience. As a Business Hotel, it offered great value for money and was quite comfortable. (I chose a non-smoking room, but there was a slight odor that bothered me, so I deducted one star.) The Onsen was very pleasant, and the ice cream service after bathing was an interesting touch. Unfortunately, I couldn't try the breakfast due to time constraints, but I look forward to it next time! The staff were very kind and helpful, especially during check-in. I would love to stay here again on my next business trip.

    The breakfast and bath were excellent!

    The miso soup ingredients for breakfast changed daily, and during my 3-night stay, it was truly delicious. The seafood bowl with tuna and okra was also fantastic. The bath was clean, and the interior design was stylish. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the station, and the woman at the front desk was very kind. Amenities were well-prepared. It’s a bit disappointing that I couldn’t stay in a room with a view, so I gave it four stars.

    Close to the station, convenient, many free services.

    I stayed for two nights. It was close to the station, with an izakaya and a yakiniku restaurant next door, and there were also ramen shops and izakayas where you could eat horse sashimi in the surrounding area. I could only find a convenience store at the station, so if you need to shop, it might be better to buy at the station. It was a convenient location, with Hanayama Onsen about 2500 yen by taxi and a bus stop right in front of Kuroshio Market. Amenities included facial wash and lotion at the Onsen. After bathing, there was free Yakult and ice cream, and the yonaki soba was also delicious. The only slight disappointment was that the walls seemed thin, as I could hear quite a bit of noise, and there was an ammonia smell in the toilet and shower room, which might have been the smell of detergent, but it didn't disappear for two days.

    Business Trip Use

    I used it for a business trip. The breakfast and room wear were very well-prepared, and I was highly satisfied. The staff were also very kind. I made an early reservation, and at that time, I was a bit hesitant due to the high price, but I booked it because the location was good for work. Considering the price, I evaluated it based on cost performance. About 2 or 3 days before the stay, I happened to check IKYU.com again and was surprised and disappointed to find that the price had dropped to about 60% of the amount I had reserved. In the future, I will carefully consider the appropriateness of the price.
