    In-room facilities are not available.

    This was my first stay. The parking guidance and front desk service felt average, but the building itself seems old. The in-room air conditioner was too noisy to use. The unit bath ventilation fan was also loud, so I had to turn it off to sleep. The shower head bracket in the unit bath was loose and left as is. I tried to use the in-room humidifier, but the tank lid was dirty. Thinking it might be worse, I pulled out the tray and found heavy limescale buildup, as if it had not been cleaned for a long time, so I did not feel comfortable using it. If you are going to place such items in the room, more attention should be paid to cleaning. The price was not particularly cheap either, which made this disappointing. It was my first time staying in Utsunomiya, and unfortunately it left me disappointed.

    A Business Hotel that suddenly appears in the city center

    The location is excellent and very convenient with parking available. The area is perfect for exploring and dining, so you'll never have trouble finding something to eat. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing—too basic, to be honest. Considering Utsunomiya's specialty is mainly gyoza, it might be understandable, but overall it was still a good Hotel.

    Convenient and Affordable

    Close to the downtown area and convenient, yet I was able to stay at a reasonable price. Despite being in a lively area, it was a quiet hotel where I could relax.

    Cost-effective Hotel

    Sunday to Monday stay, two people, double room with breakfast, ¥10,600. Great value for money. The large public bath and sauna (fits about 4 people) were not crowded (just me and one other person), allowing for a relaxing experience. The bath was clean. However, when going from the room to the public bath, you need to bring your own bag for clothes as the hotel does not provide one—please note this in advance. Breakfast (¥1,000 per person) was typical of a business hotel but enjoyable. The clam miso soup and curry rice were particularly delicious. Making your own dumplings added a local touch of Utsunomiya flavor. The dining area was clean, and staff consistently replenished items without issue. Parking is available at ¥1,000 per night (multi-story parking). Staff were polite and helpful with no complaints here either. Overall, this is a cost-effective accommodation with no major drawbacks—I would consider staying again if given the chance! *Note: It was disappointing that there didn’t seem to be an in-room safe or valuables storage.*

    Clean Hotel

    Received a pouch with women's amenities at the front desk—quite unique! The sauna and large public bath allow for a relaxing experience. Conveniently located near the Orion Street arcade, perfect for enjoying nightlife. Parking is available at the Utsunomiya City parking lot, which is slightly farther away. For those with low-height vehicles, this parking option is recommended.

    Great value for money.

    This is my fifth stay in Utsunomiya. So far, I have stayed at different hotels each time. Considering location, price, facilities, and breakfast, this is definitely No.1. It was my first time staying on the Tobu side, and it was great. There are plenty of hotels that disappoint even if you pay a high price, but providing service beyond the cost must be challenging. Anyway, whenever I visit Utsunomiya again, I will definitely choose this accommodation without hesitation. Thank you to all the staff at the breakfast venue as well—please keep up the good work! One small note: I personally prefer softer toothbrushes if possible.

    This was my first stay for sightseeing purposes. The building itself might be old, but the interior has been renovated and was clean. The staff's service was excellent. Regarding the bath, the card key for the women's area didn't open on the first try and had to be reinserted multiple times, and there were quite a few hairs on the floor. Aside from this issue with the bath, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and was very satisfied overall. I plan to stay again, so I would appreciate it if you could consider improving these two points about the bath.

    A splendid Hotel that doesn't feel like a Business Hotel.

    The public bath was clean, contrary to some reviews, and the permanent ReFa shower was a pleasant touch. However, the slightly narrow and compact bathtub could feel cramped for more than three people at once, which deducts one point for personal space concerns. The ReFa room's foot massager (available by reservation), some MegRhythm amenities, and the permanent aroma diffuser with selectable scents helped relieve fatigue from travel. The surrounding area is packed with famous gyoza restaurants unique to Utsunomiya, making it an ideal location for food tours. A nearby Mega Don Quijote came in handy for forgotten items. The hotel is within walking distance of Utsunomiya Station West Exit. There are also buses operated by Kanto Bus Company, with the nearest bus stop just a 3-minute walk away. Overall, this business hotel leaves no room for complaints!

    Conveniently located and offering delicious meals, a comfortable Hotel.

    I stayed for one night for a conference. I chose this place for its convenient location, reasonable price, spacious public bath, and breakfast. It’s a bit of a walk from Utsunomiya Station but close to Tobu Utsunomiya Station. The surrounding area has many shops open late, so you can enjoy your time leisurely. The public bath was open until 2:00 AM, allowing me to relax even after having drinks. I especially appreciated the provided samue (traditional Japanese loungewear). The breakfast the next morning offered a wide variety of delicious options. Considering the price, service, and cleanliness, I would definitely stay here again when visiting Utsunomiya.

    I was looking for a Hotel close to the downtown area, affordable for one person, yet comfortable. The Room was clean, not too small, and the bed was semi-double in size, making my stay very pleasant. As expected from a Hotel selected by IKYU. I will definitely use IKYU.com again to find my next stay.

    Great location and excellent service.

    This is a so-called business Hotel, but it maintains the charm of traditional Japanese Hotels without over-prioritizing efficiency. The Room wear is not a yukata but a two-piece set, which is nice. The bath facilities are also great. The location is perfect for those who want to enjoy bar-hopping in Utsunomiya. I stay here every time. While I wish it were entirely non-smoking, I understand that preserving the traditional atmosphere takes precedence.

    It was great.

    I stayed at the accommodation on an ordinary Saturday. Perhaps because it was before the summer vacation, it seemed relatively empty. As a woman who usually doesn't use public baths, I can't compare it to other accommodations, but during my visit, I happened to enter just as someone else was leaving and had the bath all to myself. There was also a small sauna, which I thoroughly enjoyed. After a tiring drive, I could relax in the public bath and had a great night's sleep. Not really a complaint, but the room lighting felt slightly insufficient. It was challenging to do makeup without facing the window due to dim lighting—this might vary depending on the room though. In terms of location, since it's in an urban area with many one-way streets around the hotel, taking a wrong turn can be inconvenient. However, there is always a security guard at the parking lot who provides guidance. Overall, it was an excellent accommodation experience! I'd love to stay again!

    Located in a quiet environment, but there were shopping streets, restaurants, and convenience stores around the Hotel, making it convenient.

    The electrical system...

    The renovated Room was clean and spacious. However, the air conditioner seemed old and did not work very well. It was inconvenient that the room's light switch could not be turned off without moving the sofa. The sauna I was looking forward to was disappointing as the women's sauna was small, fitting only two people facing each other. On a positive note, the showerhead was ReFa.

    Convenient.

    I stayed here to attend an event at the General Cultural Center. The location was convenient, being close to Tobu Utsunomiya Station. The pillow was not too hard, which was nice. Although I didn’t have time to use the large public bath, the amenities were well-prepared, and I could feel attention to detail in the room's facilities. Overall, it’s a very cost-effective accommodation. The only downside was that the final front desk service could have been better.

    Compact Business Hotel

    Clean and comfortable room with excellent service from the staff, making for a pleasant stay. However, the women's public bath was a bit small, and I had to wait in line for an available locker in the changing area, which felt inconvenient. Even after returning later to try again, it was still crowded. It would be helpful if the availability of the public bath could be checked from the room.

    Public Bath

    The cleanliness of the women's public bath was not satisfactory. Despite being the first to enter in the morning, the floor was wet, and there was a lot of trash and hair. It was disappointing considering how good the service was.

    I often use this accommodation when staying overnight after gatherings in Utsunomiya. Although it is a bit far from JR Utsunomiya Station and may seem inconvenient, it is right in front of Orion Street, which has many restaurants. You can take a direct bus from the station or even walk if you prefer, so it's not an issue. Compared to hotels near the station, you can often stay here for about half the price, making it an excellent value for money. Additionally, the large public bath inside the facility is a great feature. The interior is relatively calm and quiet, and the rooms are very clean, allowing for a relaxing stay.

    The sauna is small. Smaller than I imagined from the reviews. I came because it's a business hotel, wondering if it had any ink. The breakfast is satisfying. The location is also good. It's fifty-fifty.

    It is a bit far from Utsunomiya Station, but overall it is a good Hotel. However, since the heating and cooling are switched by whole building control, it was quite inconvenient that only heating could be turned on even though it was hot during the day and the Room temperature was high. Other than that, it was good. Thank you very much.

    I used it for a business trip to Utsunomiya. The Room and bed were spacious and comfortable for a Business Hotel. I was able to relax in the large public bath. It was nice to be able to use it late at night and the next morning.
