  The view of the Mogami River from the Room is spectacular.

  The Room was spacious, and the bed size was large, making for a comfortable stay. Compared to other Business Hotels, the bathroom was also larger and more relaxing. I signed up for breakfast after seeing the information provided, and the Japanese set meal allowed me to enjoy delicious local cuisine. The location was excellent and convenient for sightseeing.

  The breakfast was excellent.

  I enjoyed a delicious breakfast while admiring the view from the top floor. Both Japanese and Western dishes were excellent. The fresh vegetables, meat, and fish were very tasty. I especially loved the whole-grain bread sandwich in the Western-style breakfast, which was toasted perfectly and generously filled. The staff left a great impression with their friendly demeanor and prompt responses. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that finding dinner was challenging. The Hotel does not have a restaurant, and although I thought there would be places within a 5-minute walk, there were none nearby. A taxi driver kindly took me to an open restaurant after asking around. However, taxis were scarce and hard to catch, which made me anxious. While it is said that this Hotel is within walking distance of Honma-ke Old Residence, for elderly guests like myself, it proved too difficult to walk there comfortably. This made my reason for choosing this Hotel less meaningful. That said, for those who can walk easily or arrive by car, these issues might not be as significant.

  It was very disappointing.

  During my previous stay, I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, so I stayed again with high expectations. However, I was disappointed to find that the system had changed to choosing either a Japanese or Western-style plate at check-in. Despite plenty of available seats in the breakfast area, I was made to wait for a long time without being guided to a seat or offered any drinks, which left me feeling very uncomfortable in the morning. I understand this may be a necessary decision for management reasons, but I do not plan to stay here again or recommend it to others.

  It is conveniently located near Sankyo Soko. There is a supermarket nearby, which was helpful.
