    Two Fresa Inns near Daimon

    When I told the taxi driver at the Nihonbashi Takashimaya taxi stand “Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hamamatsucho Daimon,” I was taken to another Fresa Inn in Daimon. When I tried to check in, it turned out to be a different property. The front desk contacted the Hamamatsucho Daimon property and called a taxi for me, so I was able to get there, but it is an issue that there are two properties with similar names and some taxi drivers are not aware of the difference. I recommend taking some measures to prevent this.

    The elevator hall and corridors on the third floor and above are open to outside air, so the temperature is the same as outdoors, which can be cold. Cleaning is not thorough; there were 5–10 strands of hair in the unit bath, and a lot of dust on the wall opposite the air conditioner. Due to the building's age, outlet placement is inconvenient, but there are a fair number of outlets. However, you cannot turn off power to the unit bath ventilation fan or refrigerator, which can be noisy. The pajamas provided are made of poor material and prone to static electricity. Breakfast has limited variety, and some food items are difficult to serve due to inappropriate utensils (e.g., tongs instead of spoons). That said, it’s close to the station and reasonably priced overall—rated 7 out of 10.

    Far from Hamamatsucho Station.

    It was written that it was an 8-minute walk from the station, but the location was hard to find, and it took 15 minutes in the rain. Since I arrived late at night and only needed to sleep, it was not a problem.
