    A clean and quiet Room

    Once a year, I stay here when I have work near the Hotel. The Room is clean, and it is quiet despite being in the city center. I can rest with peace of mind until work the next day. I’m not good at driving, and when I had trouble maneuvering in the Hotel parking lot and called the front desk for help, they came right away and guided me. The Room has an electric kettle and tea bags, so you can enjoy a warm cup of tea. From sharing an elevator with what seemed to be inbound international travelers, this Hotel appears to be popular. I would like to stay here again next year.

    This was my second stay. Not a bad Hotel, but...

    The location is not the best, as you need to walk uphill from Otsuka Station, which takes about 6 minutes on foot. This might be the only downside. Check-in was a bit slow, but not enough to be a major complaint. The Room is neither spacious nor cramped. The bathtub isn't very long but has decent width, so it doesn't feel tight—this is a positive point. Considering the price for this Hotel, it feels reasonable and offers good value for money overall.

    Check-out process is difficult.

    The hotel has only two elevators, which are often overcrowded, causing delays during check-out. I stayed on the 6th floor and had to wait nearly 20 minutes for an elevator. (※ About 12 other people were also waiting on the same floor.) Although there are stairs, they are only accessible in emergencies, leaving guests effectively stuck. There was even a situation where cleaning staff monopolized the elevator during busy hours while audibly expressing frustration.

    It was an ordinary Business Hotel.

    It was my first time using this place. My only complaint is that I came from Otsuka Station on the Yamanote Line, and there was a slight slope on the way. It wasn’t steep, but it was a bit tiring. Also, the bathtub might be considered on the smaller side. The Room wasn’t spacious, but it didn’t feel particularly cramped either. There’s a convenience store right nearby.

    Hidden Gem Hotel in Central Tokyo with Reasonable Prices

    In today's Tokyo, it's quite difficult to find accommodations under 12,000 yen per night, even at a Business Hotel. I commuted for two days to Asagaya for business from this Hotel in Otsuka. It was my first time getting off at Otsuka, and I found it to be an interesting place where the atmosphere of a downtown area and the city blend together. Although it was No Meals Included, with no breakfast buffet, no particularly outstanding services, and no luxurious Facility, I felt very comfortable because the privacy of guests was thoroughly respected. I think the charm of this Hotel lies in the freedom that makes it feel like your own home. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station, and I enjoyed walking around the town and soaking in the atmosphere.

    The lighting was bright and the microwave was helpful.

    The card key and the Room's power are separate, and there is a light switch like in a house, making the Room bright, which was nice. Having a microwave was also helpful. (I used it by feel because the wattage was a mystery) The Room was spacious, which was good. I was also happy that the window could be opened. I would definitely like to use it again when I come to Tokyo.
