    It was very good.

    Unfortunately, it was raining, but towels were provided in front of the front desk, and I was impressed by how thoughtful that was. The hotel is close to the station, and the bath was great. After bathing, I enjoyed some ice cream while taking in the beautiful view. The late-night soba was excellent, and breakfast was also very delicious. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Right after check-in...

    Right after check-in, I relaxed in the Onsen, enjoyed an ice cream, and felt completely refreshed. Breakfast offered a great selection of dishes made with local ingredients, and everything was delicious—I was very satisfied. If I have the chance, I would love to stay here again.

    First-time single occupancy

    I traveled with three friends to visit Himeji Castle, and it was my first time using a single room. The Room was clean, more spacious than expected, and I was impressed by how well-equipped it was despite being compact. I was able to relax in the large public bath and also enjoyed a morning bath. The ice cream after the bath was a nice touch.

    Delicious breakfast.

    Breakfast starts early, and even at 7:20 it isn’t crowded. There is a wide variety of dishes, served in small portions on small plates. Everything tastes great—you can easily end up eating too much, from tonkatsu and fried shrimp to seasoned vegetables.

    We stayed as a couple. At breakfast, we chose counter seats. A lovely staff member from the front desk kindly came all the way over to our counter seats and gently told us that at this table we could sit facing each other. We have stayed at many Hotels because we love traveling, but this was the first time we experienced such thoughtful consideration, and it made us very happy. Thank you very much.

    Reliable and Comfortable Dormy Inn

    Decided to visit Himeji after a long time and thought about where to stay. Dormy Inn, which I know well from staying at other locations multiple times, came to mind. Located near the station, it offers simple and clean rooms without unnecessary frills, a relaxing onsen, a breakfast rich in local flavors, various complimentary services—all at great value for money. I felt comfortable and secure during my stay. Apologies if this is my misunderstanding, but the slippers were not in bags and seemed placed as-is; it made me wonder if they might have been used by previous guests. However, there were clean bagged slippers available at the onsen entrance that I was able to use instead. I’m not sure when I'll visit Himeji again in the future, but when I do, I would definitely like to stay at Dormy Inn again!

    Dormy Inn is always a reliable choice. This time, I stayed in Himeji, and the staff's hospitality was excellent, allowing me to have a comfortable stay. I will definitely use it again.

    Upon arriving at Him...

    Upon arriving at Himeji Station and finding the coin lockers full, I called to request luggage storage. The staff who answered the phone was polite and accommodating, leaving a great impression. The reception staff, breakfast venue guides, and serving staff all created a natural and comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The public bath was also clean, and soaking in the onsen while looking up at the sky from the open-air bath felt wonderful. While not extremely spacious, I checked the congestion status from my room beforehand to visit during less crowded times. During one visit when I had it all to myself, both indoor and open-air baths felt spacious. Even when there were 3–5 other guests present, everyone used different areas like indoor baths or showers comfortably. I opted for a breakfast-inclusive plan and enjoyed classic breakfast dishes as well as local specialties made with regional ingredients. With small bowls available for selection, I could choose what I liked from both Japanese- and Western-style options. It was fun being able to take more of my favorites—I personally had their specialty anago rice three times! My husband enjoyed combining grated yam with an onsen egg multiple times since he said it’s something we rarely make at home. We visited Himeji to see Himeji Castle. Although this accommodation is located on the opposite side of the station from Himeji Castle, its proximity to the station made it very convenient. We stayed on a Saturday night. Considering the accommodation fee as well, it was a highly satisfying stay overall. If we visit Himeji again in the future, we would love to stay here once more!

    Night ramen and large public bath

    One of the highlights of staying at Dormy Inn is the complimentary "Yonaki Soba" (late-night ramen). Additionally, there is a free drink service during this time, which adds great value and makes the experience even more enjoyable. The sauna facilities are excellent, and the cold bath is at a perfect temperature, providing complete satisfaction. However, the outdoor bath at night was slightly dimly lit, making it difficult to see footing and resulting in a fall into the bath. Please be cautious. It might be better to restrict access to areas other than designated bathing spots for safety reasons.

    Air conditioning issues and default settings

    I always choose this Hotel when returning to my hometown, Himeji. It's that good. With amenities like a large public bath with an open-air section, free ice cream, Yakult, and late-night ramen, the services are truly exceptional and unmatched by other Hotels. Normally, I would give it the highest rating; however, during my recent 3-night stay, there were some issues. The air conditioning in my Room was not functioning properly, and I had to change Rooms on the first night. Even in the new Room, the air conditioner took a long time to start (to be precise, it wouldn't activate immediately after switching it on), and sometimes it stopped suddenly before cooling down the Room sufficiently. This was particularly inconvenient as I had just come out of the bath and was looking forward to cooling off. That said, I must commend how quickly the Hotel staff responded after I reported these issues—this aspect of their service was excellent. Thank you for that! However, I'm left wondering why it takes so long for the air conditioning system in this Hotel to start working after being switched on. Since this doesn't happen every time (sometimes it works immediately), it's hard to raise complaints consistently. In conclusion though—while I've always loved staying here—I might need to reconsider staying at this Hotel during summer unless improvements are made regarding this issue with air conditioning systems.

    This is the ultimate choice for your stay in Himeji.

    This is my go-to place for stays in Himeji. The location near the station and the availability of an Onsen are fantastic. On top of that, Dormy Inn offers its signature free services like Yonaki Soba, ice cream, and yogurt, leaving nothing to complain about. While the staff's hospitality isn't particularly outstanding, it is more than sufficient—no, it's exceptional—for a Business Hotel. The only downside might be the high price of breakfast. I tried it once before; it was incredibly delicious with a wide variety of options. However, with the price increase, it's now a bit out of reach for me.

    Enjoy Onsen Sauna to the Fullest

    Enjoyed the Onsen and sauna. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was delicious—I ended up eating too much. This time it was for work, but I’d love to visit again for a relaxing sightseeing trip.

    The staff are friendly and smiling, and the meals are always satisfying, so there's nothing to complain about. However, it would be nice to know in advance that there is no bath or shower in the room. It's not inconvenient because there is an Onsen, but you can't use it all night. Did I overlook the information?

    A wide variety of breakfast buffet options

    Being born and raised in Himeji, this stay was particularly moving for me. I was, of course, completely satisfied. What impressed me the most was the breakfast buffet. The variety of dishes offered far exceeded my expectations, and it would be impossible to try everything in just a two-night, three-day stay. Among them, I found the Himeji oden nostalgic. It's eaten with ginger soy sauce, but I wonder if people outside of Himeji would understand this? I thought it might be helpful to include a clear explanation. I used the large public bath several times, but could it be that a large amount of chlorine for disinfection is being used? When I was a child, after swimming in the pool, my whole body would itch, and I experienced the same symptoms this time.
