    The large public bath was spacious and relaxing.

    The Room was also equipped with a unit bath, but I could check how crowded the large public bath was from the Room, so I chose a quieter time to bathe. I was also able to use the open-air bath, and it was very relaxing—I went to bed feeling comfortable.

    Apa uses A2Care inst...

    Apa uses A2Care instead of commonly sold deodorizing sprays with unclear ingredients, which is a positive point. It's also nice that they don't burn aromatherapy excessively in the entrance area. However, the room I was assigned had a door that wouldn't open. When I inquired, thinking it might be a closet, I was told it connected to the neighboring room. There was no prior explanation about this, and due to security concerns, I requested a room change but was told they were fully booked. As a result, I spent the first night feeling uneasy and couldn't relax. Additionally, although I requested a non-smoking Room, there was a tobacco smell in the first Room. However, because of my concern over the connecting door on the first night, I didn't mention it until later. On confirming for my second night whether it truly was non-smoking as requested, they assured me it was indeed non-smoking. Fortunately for my second night there were available rooms for changes; when moved to another non-smoking Room there were no odors present. It seems that my initial Room had previously been smoking before being converted into non-smoking during renovations—hence why some odor remained. Overall experience left me quite exhausted from all these issues!

    The location is excellent, but...

    The Hotel is relatively close to Sendai Station and has a convenience store on the first floor, making it a convenient location. However, if you are arriving by car for the first time, it can be difficult to locate the Hotel parking lot. The Hotel is situated along a busy road, and I missed the parking lot as cars were parked in front of the Hotel. There was no parking attendant outside, which I feel needs improvement.

    I have stayed at APA Hotels in Osaka, Tokyo, Sapporo, and Hiroshima before, but this was my first time staying in Sendai. As the title suggests, everything was perfect. The large public bath on the second floor is a great feature. I rated customer service 3 points only because I had minimal interaction with staff; otherwise, it would be a perfect score. Although it was my first visit to Sendai in over ten years and the weather wasn't ideal, I had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely like to stay here again if given the chance. Thank you!

    Conveniently located near the station

    The location was convenient and easy to use, being close to the station. The room was well-cleaned, allowing for a comfortable stay. Although there was one shower in the large public bath where it was difficult to get hot water, the bath itself was at a comfortable temperature and was nice. This time, I chose a plan without breakfast, but next time I would like to opt for a plan that includes breakfast.
