    It is a wonderful Hotel.

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days on a trip to Kanazawa during the Obon holiday period. What made us decide on this Reservation was the convenient location near the station and the available parking, but our first impression upon arrival was that it seemed like an old, timeworn Hotel. In the best possible way, we were completely proven wrong. The Facility is certainly not new, but the hospitality was on par with—or even better than—that of a top-class Hotel. Your guest-focused, guest-first service truly impressed us. Everything was kept very clean, making it an extremely comfortable environment. There were several student groups staying for training camps, but you handled everything wonderfully—such as adjusting breakfast times. The group guests were also very pleasant; they let us take the elevator first and were considerate throughout. We were impressed that even the guests matched the high standards of the Hotel itself. The large public bath did get crowded at times, but it never felt unpleasant, and breakfast was so delicious that we almost felt undeserving of such quality. My husband also tried the late-night ramen once and said it was excellent—he really enjoyed it. Next year we would like to travel to Toyama, and we hope to stay at Manten Hotel again then as well. This became an amazing trip to Kanazawa thanks in no small part to your Hotel. Thank you very much.

    A very convenient Hotel

    Conveniently located near the station and easy to access. The staff are polite and kind. The complimentary late-night ramen is delicious. It’s also nice that the Room has a small massage device and that pillows can be borrowed. The large public bath can get crowded when there are group guests.

    Kanazawa Regular Accommodation

    When I visit Kanazawa twice a year for safety patrols, this is my regular Accommodation. I’m very satisfied with the large public bath—the jet bath, open-air bath, and sauna. (I’ve never used the bath in the Room.) Breakfast is also satisfying. (The yogurt bowl is too large, and I’d like honey.) I use various Business Hotels across The whole country, but this Hotel offers satisfaction beyond its price. It would be even better if check-in could be smoother. (I imagine it’s tough for the female front desk staff to repeat the same explanation dozens of times at high speed.) I’m not sure it’s appropriate for guests to come to the breakfast venue in loungewear… (It felt like a company trip, and there seemed to be many foreign technical intern trainees?) It ruins what should be a great atmosphere.

    A Trip to Celebrate a 60th & 70th Birthday

    My first trip to Kanazawa I was very satisfied. The Facility was clean and well maintained, and although I only had breakfast, it was delicious.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    All the staff were kind and welcomed us with warm smiles! The free lockers you can use even after check-out were fantastic. Since it’s close to the station, we could come and go easily without any luggage stress. I didn’t hesitate to buy souvenirs!

    Overall, it was very good.

    The location near the station was excellent, the large public bath was clean and spacious, and breakfast was smooth with no crowds. Everything was truly great.

    It was average.

    The Facility and interior feel dated and nostalgic, but I can imagine the property has loyal regular guests. The train noise was quite loud even on the 12th floor, which worried me, but I was able to sleep. The room size and the coin-operated lockers were nice. I appreciated being able to stay at a lower price by using points.

    Breakfast

    Compared to a buffet, the set-menu style with selectable options allowed us to enjoy a relaxed meal. The bath was clean, and we were very satisfied with the amenities, including a ReFa hair dryer. Conveniently located near the station, we were extremely pleased with our stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Great value for the price!

    It was extremely crowded, possibly due to the year-end season (about 30 minutes wait for check-in, lines for elevators, breakfast, and late-night meals). The facility and room are old, so there were many areas that could be improved for comfort such as noise issues, small room size, bed quality, difficulty controlling lighting and air conditioning, and lack of USB charging. However, it was clear that the staff had done everything possible to make up for these shortcomings. The dedication of the staff was evident through their thorough greetings and cleaning efforts. With dedicated luggage storage lockers available before and after check-in, there were no inconveniences at all. Additionally, having Wi-Fi and charging stations in the lobby was very convenient. Amenities provided were standard but sufficient. Small flower arrangements throughout the facility added a nice touch of charm; also most tableware used was ceramic—a delightful detail for an Asian art enthusiast like me despite how challenging it must be to handle them carefully! The only disappointment was that my request made during the reservation process had not been reflected properly.

    The bath and breakfast were great!

    The room felt a bit dated, and the washroom wasn't very clean. However, the bath and breakfast were good. It would be nice to have a water dispenser on each floor.

    Dramatic Kanazawa

    The area on the opposite side of Kanazawa Station, which I hadn't visited before, has also changed with many Hotels now lining the streets. Manten Hotel is a bit of a distance from the station but offers a public bath and is a good Hotel. As it is a Business Hotel, the entrance is compact. It would be nice if the lobby had more space. I had breakfast there, but it got crowded as everyone seemed to gather at the earliest time slot. The narrow passageways added to this congestion. While they offered both Japanese and Western set meals similar to other places, it took some time to serve them, and I was disappointed by the limited variety of all-you-can-eat bread options. On the other hand, there was a relatively good selection of drinks. I haven't checked when it opened, but having card keys would be more convenient. Sharing just one card key for a twin room felt inconvenient as well. For security in the public bath area too, managing access with card keys would provide peace of mind. It would also be great if you could control the main room lighting from bedside rather than having to go all the way to turn it on or off near the wall.

    Feel like a Showa-era student.

    The room is clean. Having a smoking area on the floor is unpleasant. Only the Onsen is good.

    The public bath is excellent!

    Though compact, the facility offers an open-air bath, a jet bath, and a low-temperature herbal mist sauna for a truly satisfying experience! At the entrance of the large communal bath, there is a spacious tatami relaxation area where you can also meet up with others. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese or Western set meals. Salad, yogurt, and drinks are self-serve, while bread and rice are available for unlimited refills. The guest rooms felt slightly dated but being close to the station made it extremely convenient. I would love to stay here again!

    Room wear

    As my height is only about 160 cm, the Room wear in size 2L was too large and dragged on the floor, which was inconvenient. Please consider providing at least an L size. The luggage storage with lockers during check-in and check-out was very convenient.

    The ramen was delicious.

    The Hotel was conveniently located near the station, making it very easy to get around. The free ramen at night was very delicious. However, the elevators were extremely crowded due to the high number of guests, and I hope this can be improved. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

    The bath is excellent.

    The morning bath and sauna were especially amazing! With the late check-out, I enjoyed the bath and sauna until 10 AM and took my time getting ready in the Room. I had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much!

    The room was clean, ...

    The room was clean, the loungewear was comfortable and easy to wear, there was free late-night ramen, and services like being able to enjoy draft beer right after using the large public bath. The breakfast was delicious, it’s close to the station, and staying here was truly a great experience. I used it as a base for sightseeing.

    Ramen is the best!

    Glad to have enjoyed the late-night snack. The availability of coffee is a nice touch. Having lockers to store belongings is very convenient.

    I was very satisfied.

    The Onsen and meals were truly wonderful! The water was just the right temperature, making it so comfortable that I wanted to soak in it again and again. The food was delicious, and the 9:30 PM ramen was also very satisfying. The staff's warm hospitality made for a truly relaxing stay. I would love to visit again!

    The Hotel offered a satisfying large public bath and breakfast.

    I stayed here during a business trip to Kanazawa. The large public bath with radium Onsen had a great system to check the level of crowding. However, I couldn't use the open-air bath as it was occupied by group visitors. The breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options, and I was satisfied during my 3-night stay. I was also pleased with the amenities provided, including Sekkisei products. I would like to stay here again when visiting Kanazawa.

    Recommended for those traveling by motorcycle.

    I used this accommodation during the SSTR event, which has become a major event in Ishikawa Prefecture. The underground parking was very convenient, ensuring security and protection from rain, with staff providing courteous guidance. The large public bath was comfortable, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I would love to stay here again.

    June 29th to 31st, 2 nights, 2 adults Check-in: Smooth and face-to-face process. Room: Slightly dated but very clean. Only one key provided. Amenities: Soap products are fully stocked; other items are available near the front desk. A bath pouch would be a nice addition. Roomwear is quite large in size. Public Bath: Very clean and well-maintained. Shower water pressure drops significantly when the bathtub is being refilled with hot water. Late-night Snack: Complimentary "Yonaki Soba" is delicious and enjoyable even if you're already full! Noise from Outside the Room: Footsteps in the hallway can be heard, as well as train sounds due to proximity to the tracks. Breakfast: Choice of Japanese or Western style; both meals were Japanese this time with grilled fish as the main dish and three small side dishes, differing slightly each day with a mild flavor overall. Access to Station: About 20 meters from Hotel to station without a roof, but an umbrella is rarely needed for such a short distance.

    The location is not bad, but...

    After a late arrival from a live event, I looked for accommodation near the station. While it’s within walking distance, it’s a bit of a walk from the station. The facility is clean but feels quite old, and it’s been a while since I’ve stayed somewhere without disposable slippers. When I noticed there was no hand soap, I called the front desk and was told to use body soap instead. Although the price is reasonable compared to other accommodations with skyrocketing rates on weekends, even just for staying overnight, it felt somewhat lacking.

    Popular among Japanese guests

    Kanazawa was bustling with inbound tourists, but this Hotel seemed to cater more to Japanese business travelers. Check-in after work hours might get quite crowded. The front desk staff provided generally pleasant service. Amenities are self-pickup style, allowing you to choose only what you need, which was convenient. The Room was well-cleaned and reassuringly tidy. The men's bath appeared very crowded, so my husband left quickly. On the other hand, the women's bath was not crowded at all and comfortable, though the shower unexpectedly turned cold midway, which was a bit inconvenient. Luggage can be stored in lockers, making it easy and comfortable to explore without carrying heavy bags.
