    A Couple’s Goshuin Stamp Tour in Izumo

    We decided to stop hesitating about when we could travel given our age and just make the plan. The Hotel was excellent (we especially looked forward to the Simmons bed). Breakfast was delicious and very satisfying, with many local specialties from Shimane Prefecture. The front desk staff kindly explained the directions to the lighthouse.

    When you visit Izumo

    The front desk service was excellent. They kindly explained anything I didn’t understand. Staying for two in the ¥8,000 range is very affordable. It’s close to the station, and there are plenty of reasonably priced places nearby—from restaurants to izakayas and snack bars. I’d like to stay again.

    Direct access from the bus stop

    As part of the Ichibata Group, it was very convenient with the bus stop and station right in front. I mistakenly made a Reservation for a smoking room, but there were no non-smoking rooms available. They promptly provided an air purifier, so I was able to stay without worrying too much about the smell. Thank you very much. Breakfast was also delicious.

    Very close to JR Izumoshi Station.

    Less than a 1-minute walk from JR Izumoshi Station. The airport bus also stops right in front of the Hotel, which is convenient. The Room was well cleaned, and although the building seems old, it felt clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a standard buffet. Unfortunately, the in-room TV seemed outdated and the sound was distorted. The train platform for Izumo Taisha is also nearby, so this is a good choice for guests who prioritize location when choosing Accommodation.

    This time, I visited with the purpose of worshipping at Izumo Taisha. It was a trip where I didn’t know my way around at all. When I asked the Hotel front desk staff, they kindly explained everything while looking at a map of Izumo Taisha. Also, I had thought it would be an easy trip, but the staff member said, “It’s 10 km from here,” which made me laugh in surprise. Thanks to that, I felt excited and ready for the journey. Thank you for laughing with me as well—it turned into a wonderful trip.

    Excellent location.

    It’s very convenient being right in front of the station, so I stay here often. The building is old, but it’s kept clean, and while the Room isn’t large, the bed is spacious and comfortable for relaxing. The staff are also very polite. Since it’s near the station, there are plenty of restaurants around, so you won’t have trouble finding somewhere to eat. I’m happy that the breakfast buffet includes local specialties like Izumo soba, zenzai (sweet red bean soup), and clam miso soup. I’d like to stay here again next time.

    Whole-building air conditioning can be tough during this season...

    In the San’in region in April, the weather and temperatures can be unpredictable, though there are warm days. Also, the Room gets direct afternoon sun and tends to trap heat. It would be a bit better if the window could be opened, but it doesn’t open… A Hotel with centralized air conditioning may not be suitable year-round; I think you need to choose the season carefully.

    Excellent access from the station.

    We stayed here on a train trip with our child. I wrote in the request box, “I would like a Room with a view of the platform,” and they prepared a platform-side Room on the 7th floor. Since it’s right in front of the station, we could quickly get to Izumoshi Station, buy a platform ticket to go up to the platforms, watch the trains for a while, then return to our Room and continue enjoying the view from there. The Room had coffee capsules and bottled water, so we watched the platforms while drinking coffee late into the night. The next day, we could hop on the Ichibata Railway right away—excellent access! Even after checkout, they kept our luggage for us, so we were able to take our time sightseeing at Izumo Taisha Shrine. It became an unforgettable memory. It would be even better if there were a large public bath...

    Conveniently located, clean, and offers delicious meals Hotel

    I stayed at this accommodation to visit Izumo Taisha. Although I stayed at an affordable price, the hotel was very well-maintained despite the building's age. The room was spacious, and the hotel staff were kind. The breakfast was also very delicious! Highly recommended if you are visiting Izumo Taisha!

    Despite being near the station, it is very quiet and convenient.

    Landed in bad weather severe enough to require a go-around and took the airport bus to Izumo City Station. I was dreading walking in the snow, but when I got off the bus and turned around, there was the Hotel. So close! The Room was spacious and clean. No noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms. There were two types of bath salts among the amenities, which made for a relaxing experience. A short walk led to many dining options bustling with activity. There was also a car rental company nearby, making it easy to plan activities for the next day. I'm so glad I chose this place!

    Excellent convenience

    It was very convenient as the trip centered around Izumo City Station and public transportation. At night, I arrived by train from Matsue and checked in immediately. The next morning, I left my luggage at the Hotel (as it seemed faster than using the station lockers) and headed to Izumo Taisha. The bus departed right in front of the Hotel and returned there as well, so I picked up my luggage and moved smoothly to Yasugi by JR.

    The station is just ...

    The station is just nearby, and the bus stop is right in front. When you have time, you can relax on the terrace. It was very comfortable. Having bath salts available was also a delightful touch.

    I stayed here during the Izumo Ekiden. It is very convenient as it is located right in front of Izumoshi Station. I used a single Room, and both the Room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. The surroundings were quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the complimentary water service. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    Adjacent to the station, clean and well-equipped.

    Stayed for 2 nights as a base for sightseeing around Izumo, including Izumo Taisha, Matsue, and Yonago by rental car. The hotel is conveniently located next to Izumoshi Station, with a rental car office right by the entrance. The Deluxe Twin room was very spacious with an excellent view. Although the bathroom was a unit type with the toilet and sink inside, it was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast offered a delightful mix of Japanese and Western dishes, including Shijimi clam soup from Lake Shinji and Izumo soba noodles—absolutely satisfying. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of shower caps among the amenities. Would love to stay here again on my next visit!

    Close to the station

    I traveled by car, but since the location is very close to the station, I was able to do my shopping and other errands without getting wet even in heavy rain. There is also a nearby bathing Facility, which cost about 1,000 yen. I was able to relax there, and the soba restaurant inside was delicious. Thank you very much!

    Convenient and comfortable stay near the station.

    I stayed here during my visit to Izumo Taisha. It is located right next to the station. The Room was comfortable, with well-equipped lighting and power outlets around the bed, as well as reliable Wi-Fi, making it an excellent Business Hotel with great value for money. I was delighted to find bath additives at the amenity bar. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so finding meals was not an issue. The front desk staff were kind and accommodating, leaving me very satisfied. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Izumo Taisha.

    The room is spacious, clean, and satisfying.

    This price with breakfast included is a great deal. It would be nice to have hand towels and towel racks in the bathroom. The storage location for the hairdryer under the TV drawer is hard to find. The disposable slippers are clean, but it would be helpful to have separate slippers for use before taking a bath. For those who feel warm easily, an additional lightweight blanket would be appreciated. It would be great if there were more fruit options at the breakfast buffet.

    I felt as comfortable as at home.

    Thank you for taking care of us for two days, we were able to relax like at home. My daughter was delighted when the front desk staff said goodbye to her. We were able to relax and take it easy. We stayed for an event. We will use it again with my daughter someday.

    Close to the station!! You won't get lost. Haha

    I didn't want to walk from the station, so I chose this place close to the station without hesitation. As the title suggests, it's easy to find. It was a quiet Hotel. The basic amenities were helpful...! I didn't use the dinner service this time, so I might want to try it next time. The bed was spacious, allowing for a relaxed and comfortable sleep. If I have another chance to go to Izumo City Station, I plan to stay at the same Hotel.

    Limousine Bus

    I arrived earlier than the check-in time and waited in the lobby for a while, but I was able to check in about 30 minutes early after asking. The most convenient thing was that the limousine bus stop was right in front of the Hotel, and I could purchase tickets at the front desk.

    Reason for dissatisfaction

    Satisfied with the cost performance, but there is no air purifier in the room. There is a side table in front of the refrigerator, making it impossible to open. There was no shaving cream, among other reasons.

    It was a good trip.

    Despite arriving after 11 PM, I was warmly welcomed with a phone call to check on my safety, which helped ease the fatigue from work. The sound of the air conditioning in the bath was a bit unsettling, but cleanliness was not an issue! Breakfast was crowded, but the quick replenishment of food and the staff's attention to available seating allowed me to enjoy my meal without any inconvenience. I was also very grateful for the luggage storage service. I didn't have high expectations due to the pricing, but the location was great, and it turned out to be a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.
