    It’s my first time staying at APA.

    As this was my first time staying at an APA Hotel, I didn’t fully make use of everything. However, the three staff members I interacted with were probably the best you could expect for a Hotel in this class. The management and training staff likely have strong principles. Thank you.

    Close to Festival Hall

    I made a Reservation to see a show at Festival Hall. The location was excellent—just a 2–3 minute walk to the hall, within walking distance of Yodoyabashi Station, and you can enter the Hotel from Higobashi Station without getting wet in the rain. However, it was disappointing that the station entrance right in front of the Hotel has only stairs, so you can’t go down with a suitcase. I walked around looking for an elevator or escalator route and was relieved to find one inside a large nearby building. The room was on the small side, but it had a double bed, and the window wasn’t too small. The view was nice as well, so I stayed comfortably for 3 nights and 4 days. The public bath wasn’t very large, but it was easy to use. I chose a Plan with breakfast included, but it was disappointing that the menu was exactly the same for all three days. I would like to stay at this Hotel again if I have another chance, but I may skip breakfast next time. I arrived before check-in and was surprised that there wasn’t even a chair in the waiting area. I felt discouraged about what to do until check-in time. The staff were all very kind and helpful.

    Clean and comfortable

    Both the Room and the large public bath were clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I especially liked that the toothbrush felt high-quality. Thank you very much.

    It’s very convenient...

    It’s very convenient with direct access from the station. Despite our late check-in, the staff assisted us very courteously. Thank you.

    Bathroom

    This was my first stay at APA Hotel Higobashi Ekimae. The bathroom and toilet were combined, but there was an odor as soon as I entered—maybe garlic? I'm not sure. I tried using the deodorizing spray provided in the room several times, but it didn't help. The pillowcase also had an unpleasant smell. I hope more effort is put into proper deodorization. I wonder if other guests don't mention this—it’s puzzling. The customer service was very kind and responsive, which made me satisfied. Compared to the less attentive service at APA Hotel Namba, the staff here at Higobashi were excellent. Also, the cold toilet seat is something to think about—perhaps it's due to the affordable price?

    The service was excellent.

    This was my first stay as this accommodation was designated for a business trip. The service was excellent. The room's interior design may not appeal to women, but the amenities were satisfactory. The room itself is quite small. To use the public bath, you need to bring towels from your room, but the bath towels had an overwhelming odor of bacteria, so I ended up using only the face towel to dry myself. Both bath towels in the room smelled bad, which made me feel reluctant to stay here again.

    Directly in front of the station entrance/exit

    Located right in front of the station, with a convenience store nearby, it is extremely convenient. Even though I arrived early in the morning before check-in, they kindly stored my luggage. There were also foreign guests, seemingly from Western countries, but there was no disruptive behavior. A variety of pillows are available to suit your preference. Having two trash bins for sorting waste was very convenient. The quality of amenities was excellent as expected. The Room is not spacious but comfortable enough for a pleasant stay.

    Waiting Time

    During check-in at the Hotel, there was a long queue, and after waiting for over 30 minutes, I completed the self-service process, received the room card, and proceeded to the elevator. However, I had to line up again and wait for my turn. It was slightly disappointing to be in the same line as those who hadn't completed their pre-payment. Check-out was smooth as it only required returning the card at the exit. The Room was clean, and I was satisfied with the Facility overall.

    Dissatisfied with the service

    Dropped my luggage in front of the front desk staff, but they offered no help and just said, "What?" when I looked back. The Room was dusty, towels were folded carelessly, and amenities were inconsistent—no yukata on the first day, no toothbrush or bottled water on the second day, and no yukata belt either. Items varied between days. The Room was also small and inconvenient to use. While directly connected to Higobashi Station on the Yotsubashi Subway Line, multiple transfers are required to reach the airport, making it slightly inconvenient.

    Directly connected to the station

    This is the memorable debut Hotel of APA Hotel. The purpose of this trip was the Osaka Expo. Perfectly convenient distance with frequent subway services, making it easy and stress-free to visit. I was also able to send my luggage home via courier service. A light and perfect trip—will definitely use again!

    It is a good Hotel.

    Zero-minute walk from the subway station, 1-second check-in, large public bath available, big-screen TV, and reasonable rates (especially considering how expensive other Hotels in Osaka were due to inbound tourism or the Expo). Aside from the well-known compact Room size, I realized once again that this is a great Hotel.

    It’s small, but the location is excellent.

    I stayed here on a business trip to Osaka because I was traveling by car for both work and the next day’s plans, and the expressway access was convenient. The Room is small, but it’s very convenient, so I use it often.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    The APA Hotel in front of Higobashi Station is a place I frequently use. It is conveniently located with easy access to transportation. It’s close to the museums and theaters I often visit, making it very convenient. The large public bath has perfect water temperature. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, which I enjoy. The staff are kind and helpful. I will continue to use this hotel in the future!

    Problem with room Facility

    Thank you for your service. The Hotel staff's response has always been courteous, and I have used the Hotel multiple times. However, this time the TV in the guest room was broken. A staff member came to the room and checked various things, but it couldn't be fixed, so the room was changed. APA Hotel has many Hotels across The whole country, and while there may be no issues with newer Hotels, I feel that in locations over 20 years old, problems like TV malfunctions and issues with the water facilities in guest rooms may increase, as seen this time. I am concerned that this could become a significant issue for APA Hotel in the future. The Hotel is close to my company's Osaka branch, and I am satisfied with the staff's response, so I think I will continue to use it in the future. However, I hope that the Facilities in the guest rooms will be thoroughly re-inspected.
