    Accommodation for a concert at Festival Hall

    Just a short walk to Festival Hall. Since it was a hot day, it was great to be able to rest in the Room for a bit before heading out. The next morning, I took a walk through Nakanoshima Park, where historic buildings blend with high-rise towers, and then enjoyed breakfast. It was refreshing.

    I stayed here to attend a live show at Festival Hall. The location is excellent. Amenities are limited to a toothbrush and hairbrush, and there was no particular guidance, so I didn’t notice them at first. The Room is reasonably functional, but there’s nowhere to put luggage, so you end up placing it directly on the floor, which was a concern. Breakfast was delicious. Please note that cash is not accepted, and the Accommodation Tax must be paid at check-in.

    Excellent value for money for business stays.

    I stayed here for work on dates that had been set well in advance. Since I made the Reservation more than a month ahead, I got a very good rate. The location is right by Higobashi Station and close to Osaka Station as well. Given recent price increases, it’s great value for business travelers, with breakfast included, a spacious bed, and stable Wi‑Fi. I would like to stay here again.

    A very convenient Business Hotel

    It’s a bit of a walk from Umeda Station, but the Hotel is convenient if you plan to get around mainly within Osaka City, with easy access to Kitashinchi and the surrounding area. It also has the reassuring reliability of RIHGA Royal. There were many international guests.

    Excellent convenience

    I stayed here for a concert at Festival Hall. Since it was practically next door, I could go back and forth several times for merchandise sales and the show itself. Even after the concert ended, I was able to relax and fall asleep while enjoying the afterglow.

    As the hotel had been recently renovated, it was clean and very nice. For a business hotel, the bathtub was spacious and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were easy. I would have liked amenities for women and complimentary water.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near the station, with convenience stores and restaurants close by. However, as the building is older, the air conditioner does not allow precise temperature control, which was disappointing. The pillow was also too firm for a good night’s sleep. There were few amenities, and compared with recent Business Hotels, I felt the price was too high.

    Although the Accommodation was said to have been renovated a few years ago, there were too few power outlets, which was inconvenient. Also, perhaps because the walls are too thin, I could hear the neighboring guest snoring and couldn’t sleep. The bed itself was comfortable, but the duvet felt heavy despite being thin and wasn’t very comfortable to sleep with. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, it made the disappointment even greater.

    Convenient for attending live events at Osaka Festival Hall.

    I stayed here during a live event at Osaka Festival Hall. It takes about 30 minutes from Shin-Osaka. The best part is that it's just a 5-minute walk to Osaka Festival Hall and only 2 minutes from Higobashi Subway Station. There's also a convenience store directly connected to the lobby on the first floor, which is very convenient. Nakanoshima Park is within walking distance, and it's close to the recently redeveloped Osaka Station as well, making it very accessible. For those seeking full-service accommodations, nearby RIHGA Royal Hotel might be a better option, but for those who just need a clean place to sleep, this Room is highly practical. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy. I would love to stay at this Hotel again!

    Close to Osaka Festival Hall!

    I stayed at the accommodation on the night of a concert at Osaka Festival Hall. The hotel is very close to the Festival Hall, and there are affordable restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient. Amenities were provided in a format where guests could take them from the front desk to their room. The room was very clean, with a spacious bed that allowed for a comfortable rest. The showerhead in the bathroom was large with abundant water flow. Breakfast was served buffet-style; while not extensive in variety, everything was delicious and satisfying. I plan to stay here again when attending another concert at Festival Hall.

    Great value for money

    The service may not fully meet the expectations associated with the RIHGA Royal Group name, but considering the price, it is appreciated to stay at this location with such service. The front desk staff were very polite and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. The room facilities, especially the bathtub, were old but well-cleaned and tidy. I would like to use this accommodation again when in Osaka.

    Excellent Location!

    I stayed for the first time for 3 nights to visit the Expo. Having used Rihga Royal Hotel for business trips before, I felt confident choosing this accommodation as it belongs to the same group. Located right above Higobashi Station on the Yotsubashi Line in a business district, it was quiet and safe. The access to the Expo was excellent, just one station away from Nishiumeda Station, with easy connections to Umeda Subway Station and JR Osaka Station via underground pathways that were bright, clean, and easy to navigate. The room was a compact twin room, clean with comfortable amenities, and reasonably priced—very satisfying overall. This hotel is ideal for both sightseeing and business purposes; the front desk staff were pleasant and professional. As I left early in the morning for the Expo venue, I didn’t have meals at the hotel but would like to try them if given another opportunity!

    Best Value for Money

    Very affordable considering the excellent location. The Room is sufficient. Many foreign travelers stay here. They also store your luggage before check-in. There’s a 7-Eleven and a drugstore right in front of the property. While there’s no parking on-site, Sapporo City underground parking is nearby for 1,400 yen per 24 hours. I believe this is the lowest price in Osaka at the moment. Stayed in September 2025.

    Currently, the cost-performance ratio is not ideal.

    I have used this Hotel several times and think the service level is good. However, amenities (bare minimum), linen quality (thin), pillows (size and quality), lack of mineral water, etc., strongly reflect cost-cutting measures, making it seem like a Hotel whose only advantage is its location. Unfortunately, I did not feel an impression that made me want to stay at "Rihga Place."

    A traditional Business Hotel of RIHGA Royal.

    The facility is slightly dated but well-maintained, with necessary repairs made and thorough cleaning, so there are no issues. However, I recently stayed at a hotel in the same chain in Karasuma, Kyoto, where the competition among business hotels seems intense. Their Japanese breakfast was particularly innovative and satisfying. While the buffet selection for Western-style breakfast here in Higobashi is adequate, the Japanese options—instant miso soup, natto, seaweed, pickles—felt overly simplified and unappealing. There were no issues with front desk staff or service; however, the dining area seemed to prioritize functionality (such as clearing tables) over hospitality. Transportation access via subway or taxi is very convenient; however, explanations for barrier-free routes from the station when carrying luggage are insufficient. The location near Nakanoshima in the city center is excellent with a pharmacy accessible from the lobby and a convenience store next door. It’s also within walking distance of Osaka Station—a very convenient spot overall.

    I don't want to write anything negative, but...

    A large portion of nachos left by the previous guest was on top of the refrigerator. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, I left a note requesting it to be cleaned up, and by the second day, it had been removed (no communication or report from the Hotel). The inside of the refrigerator was warm when I entered the room. It cooled slightly over time, but drinks placed inside remained lukewarm. I also mentioned this in my note, but there was no response.

    Comfortable Stay

    Stayed here just to sleep after a weekend baseball night game, and despite being close to the station, there was no concern about outside noise in the area. There were also restaurants open late at night, which was convenient. The compact yet clean room and bathroom, express check-out, and other features made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast exceeded expectations with its generous portions and delicious taste (the takeaway coffee cup service was a nice touch). Check-out time is 11:00 AM, allowing for some relaxation even after breakfast. I frequently look for accommodations in Kansai every month and will definitely consider this place again in the future.

    Arriving early in th...

    Arriving early in the morning by express bus, I opted for an additional fee to enjoy breakfast on the check-in day and requested luggage storage. I was also able to leave my luggage after check-out, which allowed me to explore the area worry-free. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options with a great selection of beverages. The staff were kind and attentive, making my stay even more pleasant. I would love to stay here again!

    Very small.

    Stayed for one night from Sunday with two people, but the room was too small for two. Suitcases had to be placed on the bed and couldn't be opened. I trusted it as a Business Hotel under the Rihga Royal group, but I will not repeat my stay.

    The noise from the air conditioning or boiler was loud.

    The room was clean and tidy, but it was disappointing that there were no cotton pads or swabs among the amenities. When I tried to sleep at night, I kept hearing irregular noises (even though the air conditioning in the room was turned off), which made it difficult to sleep well. I didn't notice this at all during my previous stay, so perhaps it depends on the location of the room.

    A Perfect Base for Exploring Osaka

    Stayed for one night during the Expo and city sightseeing. Conveniently located just steps from Higobashi Station exit. It took only about 25 minutes to reach Yumeshima Station, the Expo venue, which was surprisingly close. Great access to Osaka Castle, Umeda, Namba, and other attractions. Would love to stay here again!

    A very quiet and relaxing Hotel close to the entertainment district.

    It is a short walk from Osaka Station, but it is quiet. There is also a convenience store nearby, and many izakayas are in the area (please note they are closed on Sundays). The Hotel Room is a standard Business Hotel. Breakfast offers a variety of vegetable-based side dishes.
