    Affordable

    We stayed in a suite, and even for three people it was cheaper than nearby Business Hotels. The amenities are undeniably old, but the price and spaciousness make it worthwhile.

    Ideal for your visit to Kumagaya

    I love walking around town and sometimes head out alone to explore different cities on a whim. When I visited Kumagaya, I stayed at this Hotel. I booked the Suite Room Plan, and it truly was a suite—this amount of space at this price is remarkable. I believe it was a smoking Room, but the smell didn’t bother me much. The bathroom was spacious, with a separate toilet, and the amenities were from POLA, so there were no complaints in that regard; however, due to the building’s age, there were signs of wear inside the bathroom. Breakfast included some Kumagaya-style items such as udon, but if I had to ask for more, I think it would have been even more appealing with a few more Saitama specialties like Fukaya green onions or fry. Rooms other than the suite also offer more space than you’d expect for the price, so it’s recommended for guests who prefer larger rooms.

    Overall, I am satisfied.

    I stayed here on a business trip. The staff were courteous and the breakfast was good, so overall I was mostly satisfied. As the Facility feels historic, there was a slight odor around the plumbing, and I noticed limescale inside the kettle, which made me hesitant to use it. If more detailed cleaning had been done, I would have rated it even higher. Still, I was generally satisfied and would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity next time.

    Disappointing Accommodation

    It was a two-night stay in a suite. On the morning after the first night, I called the front desk (male staff member) to request no cleaning service. I asked for towel and slipper replacements and a refill of the small 30 ml bottle of body soap that had run out, but I was told that since housekeeping would not enter, they could not replenish the body soap. I asked again because it would be a problem to have no body soap on the second night, but they said it was not possible, so I had no choice but to buy some myself at the convenience store right in front of the Hotel. I chose “no cleaning needed” to avoid causing extra work for the Hotel, so I am disappointed with this response. As can be confirmed on your site, I believe you should clearly state that during a Multiple Night Stay with no cleaning service requested, amenities cannot be replenished.

    There were only cott...

    There were only cotton gowns provided as sleepwear, which made it hard to sleep, so I slept in a T-shirt I brought with me. It would have been better if proper sleepwear was available. The conversation from the neighboring Room was a bit noisy.

    The facilities and services felt somewhat mismatched.

    The Hotel Wi‑Fi connected, but the signal seemed weak and it was basically unusable. The Room was spacious and felt luxurious, with lots of wooden dressers. The bed was also very large and comfortable. The bath had a fairly large tub and a very spacious washing area, which was comfortable. However, there was no place to wash hands in the toilet area, so we had to leave the bathroom door open to go wash our hands at the sink. There were not many power outlets; an extension cord was provided, but it was inconvenient to use. There were two guests (one male and one female). Two razors were provided, but makeup remover and toner were not included and had to be purchased, which was disappointing. In addition to tea and black tea in the Room, there was a UCC drip pod machine, so we could enjoy good coffee. There was also take-away coffee available at the front desk. We added breakfast, but perhaps our expectations were too high—the variety and taste were just average.

    3 Days, 2 Nights Saitama Trip

    The Room was spacious and well-cleaned. We only interacted with the Hotel staff during check-in and check-out, but they provided pleasant greetings and clear explanations.

    Spacious and Comfortable Room

    It was my first stay, but the room was spacious, the bed was large, and I had a comfortable time. The breakfast was also delicious. I will stay again if I have the chance next time.

    It was a very good Hotel.

    Affordable yet luxurious experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the availability of automatic towel dispensers in various locations was very convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

    The towels are rough.

    This time, due to personal matters in my hometown, I chose to stay in Kumagaya, thinking it was the safest option, and booked a Multiple Night Stay. This was my second time using this Property. First, when I entered the washroom to wash my hands, I was dismayed by the sewage smell from the drain, but as I stayed in the Room, my nose gradually got used to it. Next, when I tried to hang the next day's clothes in the closet, there were only three hangers, even though it was a twin Room. When I called the front desk, they promptly brought four more hangers, which I thought was good service. The most unsatisfactory part was that both the face towels and bath towels were rough and scratchy, and when I wiped my body after a bath, it caused abrasions and bleeding. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, when the staff came to ask about cleaning and replenishment for the next day, I requested softer towels, but they said they only had similar towels, so the next day I had the same rough towels. Even if the towels are old, they can become softer if dried in a dryer, and since it's a Hotel, I would like them to regularly replace the towels with new ones. I will have to stay in Kumagaya again, so I hope for improvements.
