    Sightseeing in Nara After a Long Time

    The Room was small, but it was more than enough for one person. It was my first solo trip in a while, and I had a very pleasant stay. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and felt very comfortable. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff explained everything carefully. They had a memory foam pillow at the exact same height as the one I use at home, so I slept very well. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Natural Onsen Asuka no Yu

    I forgot my jacket at the front desk, and when I went to retrieve it, a male staff member handed me back a crumpled jacket without even folding it neatly. It was disappointing. For dinner, I was given a 1,000 yen ticket and told to eat at a nearby restaurant. However, there was no prior explanation about this arrangement. These two points were disappointing.

    We had a wonderful time with attentive service and kind hospitality. The Room was clean, and we could choose our pillows. There were detailed amenities provided, and the pajamas were comfortable pants-type instead of yukata, allowing for a restful sleep. The public bath was pleasant, and small thoughtful touches like bags for wet towels were appreciated. For dinner, we used a 1,000 yen voucher per person to dine at partner restaurants. Breakfast during our two-night stay featured different dishes each day and was delicious. We would love to visit again!

    Construction?

    Super Hotel provides a great sleep experience, so I often stay there. I was surprised by loud noises, possibly from construction or machinery, occurring periodically. I believe it was just a coincidence and would like to stay again next time.

    Highly recommended for solo travelers!

    Located right in front of JR Nara Station, the location is unbeatable! For solo travelers, deciding where and what to eat for dinner can be a challenge, but at this Hotel, you can bring in food from outside to the lounge. Enjoy your meal leisurely while sipping on provided drinks (including alcohol). The fact that you can enter the lounge wearing the Hotel's room wear is a big plus. After refreshing yourself in the large public bath, you can head back to the lounge for a nightcap. If it's just a difference of a few thousand yen, I would choose this Hotel again in the future.

    Relax and unwind.

    This hotel is designed with the concept of sleep, and I always sleep well here. Some hotels can cause lighter sleep, so I really appreciate this. The room is slightly dim but compact and comfortable to stay in. Located right next to the station, it offers great access, and I would love to stay again.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near the station, making it ideal for sightseeing in Nara. A bus departs right in front of the Hotel, offering great convenience. We recommend the selection of pillows and comfortable pajamas for a good night's sleep. The room is compact but has enough space to leave your suitcase open, which was sufficient. The staff promptly assisted with forgotten items, which was very helpful.

    A bit disappointing...

    The accommodation had a high rating, so I stayed with high expectations. Instead of room keys or cards, there was only a flimsy piece of paper with a passcode, which felt quite insecure. Upon entering the room, lines resembling those at a construction site were drawn, seemingly instructing where to remove shoes. The lounge I had anticipated did not offer beer or wine but instead featured spirits like gin and vodka. There were no casual drinks for "just one glass," so I recommend bringing your own beverages. I stayed in a room with a desk, but the chair reminded me of old railway seats and didn’t provide much comfort for relaxing. Breakfast options were limited in variety and taste; the quality of ingredients seemed questionable. The location right in front of JR Nara Station was excellent and very convenient. Many staff members were kind and attentive; especially the breakfast staff showed great effort. I was surprised by how many senior guests there were (though perhaps I fall into that category myself). Female guests received complimentary amenities but only enough for one use. It made me wonder if they realized most women use skincare products twice daily—morning and night (though an all-in-one product was available in the public bath area for nighttime use).

    It feels almost as if it is located inside JR Nara Station due to its proximity. I always use this Hotel when visiting Nara and Kyoto for sightseeing. It has been 5 years since my last visit due to COVID-19. The price is very affordable, and the Hotel offers a completely stress-free experience. It is quiet, and both the Room and the large public bath have very strong water pressure. The water quality is also said to be excellent. The breakfast buffet tastes average but everything is served warm (hot), with a wide variety of drinks, side dishes, and plenty of vegetables, making it satisfying overall. Coffee can be enjoyed freely at the counter next to the front desk. You only need to visit the front desk during check-in. The hairdryer has been upgraded to a ReFa product, surrounded by an aromatic fragrance throughout your stay. Even the elevator operates quickly for added convenience!

    First Stay

    The ticket gate of Nara Station is on the second floor, which was convenient as it allowed for smooth access without needing to go downstairs. The day before, I stayed at Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto, so naturally, the Room size and grade were exceptional. Even so, with an Onsen included, the Room was clean, the staff's service was excellent, and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I was a bit puzzled by some foreign guests who seemed unfamiliar with the bathing etiquette, but this will likely improve over time. The lounge is available from 5 PM, and complimentary alcohol is provided. Since bringing your own food is allowed, it might be nice to buy a bento box and enjoy it there. It would be helpful to have hooks in the Room for hanging hats. For dinner, there was a system where you could use a 1,000 yen meal voucher at nearby establishments, but this arrangement didn’t suit me. Thank you very much.

    For Nara Sightseeing

    Location, Facility, Everything was good. It was the best in this class of Hotel in the past. Especially, the desk table was like a cafe and I was able to relax. Thank you very much.

    The location is sati...

    The location is satisfactory as it is directly connected to the station and allows for luggage storage. The natural Onsen is good, but the lockers are narrow, and when there are many people, it is inconvenient as you cannot retrieve your luggage or move elsewhere. It would be nice if there was a way to see the crowded times. There is no outlet in the washroom, making it very inconvenient when using a hairdryer. There was a mirror, but it was foldable and difficult to use, which was inconvenient. There was no water service, and although there was tea and coffee in the lobby, it would be nice to have tea and coffee in the Room as well.

    A bit disappointing

    In the photos of the Room here, you can see the view from the window, but the Room I stayed in had a narrow frosted glass window about 20 centimeters wide, and even when opened, there was no view, making it dark and suffocating. The evening all-you-can-drink alcohol service did not include beer or wine, but there was plenty of shochu, makgeolli, and alcohol for cocktails, which you could make yourself. It's great that you can bring snacks and food into the lounge. Breakfast is disappointing compared to other Hotels of the same class. It's recommended for those using JR as it's close to the station. It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the main sightseeing spots in the city.

    Sound problem

    The impression was quite different from when I stayed during LOHAS. The water in the toilet tank seemed to be leaking slightly, and although it was a small sound, it bothered me and I couldn't sleep. Perhaps because it was the room in front of the elevator, I could hear the sound of it arriving on the floor inside the room. The quality of the Onsen water was good, but it was unfortunate that the changing room and washing area were small.

    Satisfaction Hotel near the Station

    I used it for the first time. It was a good Hotel with direct access to the station, making it convenient for transportation and without any excess or deficiency. It was also convenient and nice to be able to check the congestion of the bath and breakfast venue from the Room. The breakfast was delicious, and I would like to use it again.

    Close to the station and the Onsen is GOOD

    Super convenient, right in front of the JR station. The Onsen was very pleasant, and I was able to sleep soundly. If I had to say, the step at the entrance to the Room's toilet was too high for those with weak legs. Overall, I am satisfied.

    It was nearby, but

    I made a last-minute reservation and stayed! The hot spring was pleasant. The breakfast included persimmon leaf sushi! I was delighted. I would like to use it again if I have the chance. The only downside was the bath congestion information? It didn't seem accurate? Everyone has different standards, but no matter how long I waited, it kept showing as crowded! When I went, it wasn't crowded at all! That's the only issue, I guess, haha.
