    First-time use

    I stayed here alone. The Room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom and sink area were also very clean, making it very comfortable to stay. The amenities were well stocked with a variety of items such as bath salts, which I really appreciated. I would love to stay again!

    High-quality welcome drinks

    A welcome drink was provided. You could choose any one drink you liked. I've never seen such a service before. The staff who assisted us were very kind. I'm glad I stayed here!

    The facility is old but not bad.

    Located about a 5-minute walk from Fushimi Station, it is not particularly close to Sakae or Nagoya Station. While the location and the older facilities did not initially raise high expectations, the accommodation made every effort to provide a pleasant stay, and all staff members were kind and attentive. Breakfast was served individually on trays rather than in a buffet style (the portion might feel small for young men, but it was just right for me as a middle-aged guest). The breakfast area was compact, possibly due to fewer guests opting for breakfast. A welcome drink served in the breakfast area after check-in was a nice touch. I stayed with a friend this time, and we found the room surprisingly spacious and comfortable. I would definitely consider staying here again.

    Good access

    If your goal is not a hotel stay but to stay over the weekend at this price, it is recommended as the cleaning is thorough, and it is close to museums and science centers with excellent access to downtown. The basic check-in and check-out times of 14:00 and 11:00 are also pleasing.

    The location is excellent.

    The distance from the station is just right, and there is a convenience store nearby. The area is not cluttered, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk service was excellent, and I would like to use it again.

    Overall, it is rated poorly.

    It takes longer to walk from the nearest station than I expected, but having a convenience store right in front is convenient. Although the hotel is old, the room is spacious, and the unit space for the bath and toilet is also large, making it easy to use. However, the overwhelming issues are security and hygiene. The elevator to the guest rooms can be used by non-guests, and both the entrance and the elevator are in full view. There is a front desk on the right as you head from the entrance to the elevator, but if it is unmanned, anyone can reach the guest rooms without being noticed. I thought it was quite a risky hotel these days. The fact that the slippers in the guest room are not disposable was not pleasant, even though they are disinfected (I thought this might be common in old hotels, so I was glad I brought my own slippers). The vent on the ceiling of the guest room (something like an air vent) was also quite dirty, and once I noticed it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. It's a bit puzzling that the review score on Ikkyu is high.
