    It was disappointing that the bathtub wouldn’t drain, but I appreciated that it was repaired promptly the next day.

    The location was excellent, but the twin Room was small. Given this location in Tokyo, I accepted it as unavoidable. What disappointed me was that when I pulled the plug after filling the bathtub, water overflowed from under the sink and soaked the bath mat—I was shocked (like a cheap overseas Hotel!). I also wished the shower pressure could be adjusted more, for example with a different showerhead. There was an outlet for the electric kettle nearby, but it was very hard to find and a bit difficult to plug in. (It might be better to indicate the outlet location with an arrow.) I appreciated having mugs instead of small coffee cups in the Room. The air conditioner was modern and worked well. It was also great that the refrigerator had a see-through door so you could see inside from outside.

    Recommended quality Hotel for business travelers and exam takers

    Clean and spacious, with attentive staff. Surrounded by cozy izakayas and restaurants, making it convenient to return to your Room after a drink. This Hotel offers very reasonable pricing compared to the recent rise in Hotel rates. Highly recommended for business travelers heading to work from nearby Jimbocho Station or students taking entrance exams in the area. For two guests, the 20-square-meter Superior Twin Room is a great choice.

    The service is court...

    The service is courteous, and the Room and bathroom are clean, making for a satisfying stay. You can watch YouTube on the Room's TV, and if you have an account, Netflix as well.

    This was my first time using it, but there was no place to put luggage, and the Room was just too small. 30,000 yen is too expensive for this!

    I stayed for one night and two days. The reception lobby and the Room were clean and very well-maintained. There were many good points, but the staff at the reception stood out with their excellent service. They kindly explained the check-in process and details about rental items. Additionally, early in the morning, due to my carelessness, I accidentally locked the bathroom door in my Room and couldn’t open it. A staff member came to my Room promptly and assisted me kindly. I sincerely apologize for causing trouble. Even after check-out, I forgot my phone in the Room, causing further inconvenience, but every staff member responded with kindness. I will be more careful in the future and would love to stay at Villa Fontaine Tokyo Jimbocho again when I have business nearby. Thank you so much for all your help!

    A simple and compact...

    A simple and compact Business Hotel with no particularly outstanding features. However, the cleaning was thorough, the bathroom facilities and hairdryer were easy to use, and the bathtub drainage worked perfectly, making it a comfortable Room. Although it was slightly distant from the station, it was still conveniently located for getting around anywhere. A Hotel I would like to use again.

    Hotels near Jimbocho are rare, making this one valuable.

    Stayed here to attend an event at Hitotsubashi University Hall, about a 10-minute walk away. It’s approximately a 2-minute walk from Jimbocho Station. The Room was clean and well-maintained, possibly due to recent renovations. The bathtub was spacious and clean as well. Amenities were self-selectable, but everything necessary was provided. Pajamas can also be picked up. Breakfast vouchers for Doutor (about a 10-minute walk across the street) are available for ¥1,000. Considering the price in Tokyo, it offers great value for money.

    Used for the first time.

    It was a comfortable Hotel to stay at. The bath was spacious and nice. I look forward to using it again in the near future.

    Price and Service

    The location is a few minutes from Jimbocho Station, so there are no issues in that regard. The reception lobby in the basement felt cramped and oppressive. The reception was awkward, possibly due to a new staff member (I'm not sure), which did not leave a very good impression (I rated it as average). For breakfast, there is a partnered coffee chain store across Hakusan Street, which is inconvenient as it cannot be completed within the hotel, especially on rainy days. I thought preparing breakfast at a convenience store would be more convenient. The single room felt cramped for the price, almost like it was three times the cost. If it's just for sleeping, I wouldn't want to repeat my stay. I chose it because it had high ratings, but I realized you can't know until you actually stay there. I feel that the pricing structure should be differentiated between inbound guests and business travelers.

    It takes only 2 minutes from Metro Jimbocho Station A5.

    The long and daunting stairs of Metro Jimbocho Station A5 with a heavy trunk... After the shock, a beautiful hotel awaits you, though the entrance is narrow. The Room is perfect! The attention to amenities is also perfect. I would love to stay here for business trips all the time. I just hope they don't raise the price beyond the business trip budget—it's a perfect Hotel. As expected from IKYU, it's a recommended Hotel.

    The electronic cigarette room is the best!

    Thank you for your hospitality the other day. As an IQOS user, I get a headache from the smell of cigarettes in smoking rooms, so having a room where electronic cigarettes are allowed is a very good service. I will stay with you again when I have business in Jimbocho. I accidentally took the towel that was placed at the front desk, so I will send it back at a later date. I apologize for the inconvenience.
