    I was surprised to find a supermarket and an Animate store in the basement—so convenient. Breakfast was excellent, too.

    Conveniently located near the station. The Room amenities were easy to use, and I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also delicious. I was especially impressed by the sea bream chazuke.

    Overall, I was satisfied.

    It was very convenient—close to the station and with a supermarket nearby. The sea bream chazuke for breakfast and the Onomichi ramen were just the right portion size, so it may be a good choice for those who want to try a variety of dishes. All the staff were very kind, and we had a great stay. As a coffee lover, I also appreciated the complimentary soft drinks. If I have the chance, I’d love to stay again.

    I was able to stay at an affordable price!

    I made a last-minute Reservation, but I was able to stay in a spacious Room at a reasonable price. Breakfast was delicious, and I ate a lot! Overall it was good, but I’d like to share a few things I noticed. - The humidifier water tank had mold and dust. - The coffee and tea bags for the Room were placed in front of the front desk, so it would have been easier to find if they were set out together with the amenities. - It felt like there was more waiting than expected for the elevator, and I also noticed housekeeping staff using it. (Is there no staff-only elevator?) It’s a clean Hotel, and I’d like to stay again. Thank you!

    Breakfast, Room

    Breakfast offers great value for money. The Onomichi ramen is made to order. There was a decent variety of dishes. It was also nice to have options like sea bream ochazuke. The Room was a Deluxe Room with a separate bath and toilet; unfortunately, there was no washing area. The location is right in front of the station, just a few minutes’ walk from it, which is a big plus.

    I had a very comfortable stay.

    Very convenient location near Fukuyama Station. Relaxed comfortably in a clean and tidy Room. The breakfast buffet was very delicious. A tasty breakfast gives you energy for the day. It was a highly satisfying stay.

    Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki

    Breakfast included Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki and Onomichi ramen, which were excellent. The other menu items were also very delicious. It would have been helpful to know in advance that there was an adjacent parking lot to avoid any confusion when parking.

    Excellent!

    It was excellent. Two days before check-in, I received a message with instructions on how to check in. When I planned to use the QR code at check-in, the staff kindly informed me that I could simply provide my name at the front desk, making the process very smooth and pleasant. The clean Room was easy to use, with a large and easy-to-watch TV, and breakfast was fantastic. I would love to stay again!

    Spent an extremely uncomfortable night in a smoking room. Only 2 pairs of slippers for 3 people. Nothing positive to mention.

    Comfortable.

    I used this accommodation during my trip to Tomonoura and Onomichi. It's very close to Fukuyama Station, so I was able to leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out, making it easy to explore the area. The Room was spacious, and the breakfast included local specialties, offering great value for the price. The staff were also very kind and helpful.

    The breakfast buffet was delicious with both Japanese and Western options. Having Onomichi ramen in the morning was unique, and the mini size was just right. It would be great to have colorful vegetables like carrots and broccoli available.

    It was comfortable.

    When I rebooked, I accidentally reserved a smoking room and urgently requested a room change. They kindly accommodated my request, and since there were no twins available for my stay with my daughter, they upgraded us to a Deluxe Double. The bed was spacious, there was a sofa, and we were extremely satisfied in the end. I expressed my gratitude to the staff who assisted us the next day.

    It was a high-quality Business Hotel.

    Located in front of Fukuyama Station, this building stands out with its clean and modern appearance. Despite arriving past 1 PM on a Sunday, I was able to check into the Room. The twin Room was neat and spacious, with a separate bathroom and toilet. The long desk, a signature feature of Richmond hotels, was very convenient. The only downside was the absence of a safety box. I searched through the many drawers thinking one might be it but couldn't find any. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including local specialties like Onomichi Ramen and Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki, which were delightful. I was very satisfied with my stay and would love to choose this place again when visiting Fukuyama next time!

    The view of Fukuyama Castle is not available, but everything else was good.

    Fukuyama Castle cannot be seen from the Hotel due to an apartment building in the direction of the station, but the view towards Tenmaya was clear. During this winter season, windows can be opened slightly for room ventilation, and the air purifier had a humidifying function, which was convenient. The Room also had a spacious desk and sufficient facilities for a Business Hotel. It is about a 3-minute walk from the station. There is a supermarket in the basement, and you can reach Tenmaya through an underground passage; despite bad weather, there were no issues with shopping. The front desk is on the 8th floor; while check-in and check-out procedures were swift, having only two elevators meant waiting after completing procedures was inconvenient.

    A clean Hotel in front of the station

    Close to the station. A new Hotel, comfortable. The drink bar is all-you-can-drink and free until 11 PM. You can also take drinks back to your Room in a cup, which is very convenient. However, the Room was very dry due to the heating, and the humidifier needed to be refilled every two hours. This might be unavoidable, though...

    It would have been nice to have a washing area.

    I was a little disappointed because it was on a lower floor, but the Room was spacious and comfortable. It seems that there are Richmond Hotels in various places, but it has become my favorite. The night view of the Skytree and Sensoji from Richmond Premier Asakusa was the best. I would like to continue using Richmond Hotels in the future.

    I stayed with my child, and when I requested a blanket, it was promptly delivered to the room. Thank you very much. There were many local dishes for breakfast, and I enjoyed them. I think it would be nice if paper towels were provided.

    After more than 20 years, I stayed in Fukuyama again and found many changes. I chose to stay at the Richmond Hotel, where I am a member. I participated in a sports tournament and left my luggage at the hotel. When I returned, I couldn't find the luggage claim ticket and was confused, but they kindly brought my luggage to me and said, "It's okay without the ticket." Even at checkout, I couldn't find the ticket, but they said, "Please dispose of it if you find it," with a smile at the front desk. I appreciate such thoughtful service.

    I want to repeat.

    It was a wonderful Hotel. I was pleased with the attention to detail. One disappointing thing was that the man at the reception, both when I left my luggage before check-in and during check-out, had a low energy, which brought my mood down as well. The young girl at check-in had a smile and provided good service.

    Conveniently located near the station

    We participated in the Japan Rose Society's national exhibition as a prelude to the World Rose Convention to be held in Fukuyama next year. The Hotel was very clean, conveniently located near the venue, and provided a safe stay. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

    Safety aspects

    There is no non-slip surface on the floor of the unit bath, so I almost slipped and hit my head while bathing. I think it would be better to consider addressing this before an accident occurs.

    The breakfast is excellent.

    There are many unusual breakfast menu items such as Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, Onomichi ramen, sea bream chazuke, and conger eel rice, all of which are delicious and very satisfying. Be careful not to overeat.
