    Clean

    First time staying here. The Room was clean, and even as a solo guest I was able to relax in the spacious bed and recover from the fatigue of a hot day. I chose the breakfast-included plan, and when pizza was served partway through, it was delicious and made me realize this is an Italian restaurant.

    Rainy Ofuna

    Although the weather was unfortunate, there was a flat route from Ofuna Station and the bus stop was covered, so we were able to check in without getting wet. Many of the staff were very pleasant, and I was able to relax with my elderly mother. Thank you for preparing non-slip bath mats and a shower chair in advance. I also found the room temperature settings and the firmness of the bed mattress to be just right for me, making my stay very comfortable. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Convenient when visiting Kamakura

    I stayed here the night before visiting Kamakura. Hotels around Kamakura were expensive, but Ofuna was more reasonably priced, and there are plenty of shops around the station, which was convenient. The Hotel is close to the station, so it was easy to drop off my luggage and head out. Amenities were self-service, but there was a good selection of teas, which I appreciated. The desk was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable, so I was very satisfied with this Hotel. There is an Italian restaurant on the first floor of the Hotel, and it looked delicious.

    My daughter and I had a comfortable stay.

    The staff were courteous, and I had a very comfortable stay. Check-in and check-out are self-service, but the staff guided me through each step, so everything went smoothly without any confusion. The Room was clean and comfortable, but there was one small downside: each time I flushed the toilet, a slight odor came up. Other than that, I was satisfied.

    IKYU.com is the best.

    Although I’m a woman in my 60s and not good with either computers or smartphones, I compared Hotels on my smartphone for the first time and made a reservation. IKYU.com was the best. The Hotel was also excellent. I would like to use both again.

    I assumed a JR Hotel...

    I assumed a JR Hotel would be inside the station, but I couldn’t find it on the station signs or maps. Even after exiting from the East Exit and looking around, there was no signboard, so I ended up calling to ask for directions. Although my Plan had a late check-in time, I called the day before and received confirmation that they would store my luggage if I paid in advance before check-in. However, on the day, this wasn’t understood and I had to request it again. The bed is spacious, and the white pajamas are cute.

    Highly recommended for sightseeing in Kamakura!

    I always stay here when visiting Kamakura. It’s great value for money—new, clean, and compact yet never feels cramped, which I really like. What I especially appreciate are the disposable slippers, two complimentary bottles of water, the smart TV, and the well-stocked amenities. The amenities in particular are a big help because they reduce what I need to pack. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. Thank you again—I look forward to staying here next time!

    The breakfast staff are wonderful!

    The female staff member at breakfast had a wonderful smile, worked efficiently, and kindly looked after the guests, which made a great impression. The breakfast menu was fairly standard, but thanks to her it felt more enjoyable. The room was more than spacious enough for one person, and the view was arranged just as I requested. I also appreciated being able to choose from a variety of bath salts among the amenities.

    Convenient for sightseeing in Yokohama and Kamakura.

    This was our second stay here while sightseeing in both Yokohama and Kamakura. The staff are courteous, and we always have a pleasant stay. With two adults and two elementary school children, the beds were spacious and comfortable. We added breakfast last time, but it was a Western-style menu. Since we prefer Japanese food in the morning, we didn’t include it this time. There are places like Matsuya near the Hotel, so we had no trouble finding breakfast. We would like to stay here again when visiting Yokohama and Kamakura.

    A very well-balanced Hotel

    I stayed in a compact Room, but it wasn’t too small and I had a very comfortable stay. What I personally liked most: - You can watch Netflix and YouTube on the TV - Disposable slippers are provided - Plenty of amenities such as facial lotion - The loungewear comes as separate top and bottom The Mets group offers great value for the price, and it’s a Hotel close to the station that I really like. I’ll definitely stay again!

    I often stay here for business trips, and it’s comfortable.

    I’ve stayed here 5 or 6 times already. This time, the Room had a great layout with the desk and window, and it was the best so far. However, the desk lamp only stays in a drooping angle, so I’d like that to be fixed. (I use the light often.)

    Very satisfied

    Although the building is older, it is kept very clean and we had a comfortable stay. The Room is also a generous minimum of 16 m², offering plenty of space even for two people. As expected from Mets. We would gladly stay again if we have the opportunity.

    It has improved.

    The property has improved significantly and become much cleaner compared to over 10 years ago, with many aspects enhanced. However, one disappointing issue was that one of the Room towels had a stain on it, which seemed like it might have been mistakenly placed as new despite being used. While other areas were very efficient and showed great effort, this mistake in such an essential aspect was truly unfortunate.

    I stayed here as a b...

    I stayed here as a base for sightseeing around Kamakura. It’s very close to Ofuna Station, though it’s a bit of a walk from the station. It’s on the other side of the bus terminal. The Room was clean. However, I noticed a slight cigarette smell near the pillow. Other than that, there were no particular issues, and I had a comfortable stay. They also properly provided a DVD player, so I watched the Mozart opera I brought with me. Breakfast was neither particularly good nor bad—if anything, I’d say it was on the better side. You can eat plenty of vegetables. After checkout, I wanted to visit Ofuna Kannon, so they kept my luggage for me. Thank you.

    Resulted in a negative impression

    I have stayed at this hotel for more than 7 nights in the past and always had a good impression, which is why I booked a 3-night multiple night stay this time. However, this experience was the worst so far, and I felt compelled to share my feedback with the hotel. To summarize, the room was not cleaned properly at all. Despite booking a non-smoking room, it had an unpleasant odor and poor air quality. The toilet was dirty with noticeable odors, and areas like the doorknob, sink area, and bathroom fixtures were unclean. We ended up disinfecting everything ourselves with alcohol wipes. The condition was so bad that we filed a complaint at the front desk and requested to change rooms. This completely shattered our previously positive impression of this accommodation. Additionally, one point I’ve always hoped would improve is breakfast quality. For its price, there are very few side dishes available, and they are not tasty either. Although breakfast is served in an Italian restaurant within the hotel where pasta should be delicious by nature—it wasn’t at all—and other dishes were repetitive every day. Some items seemed like store-bought deli foods or cheap condiments you’d find in supermarkets. I strongly urge the hotel to evaluate their offerings by tasting them themselves. Overall, it was an unpleasant 3-night stay that left us disappointed.

    Kamakura Trip

    I used this accommodation for my first solo trip to Kamakura. The facility was sufficient and comfortable for the purpose of just staying overnight. The warm breakfast was very delicious.

    Second stay

    This was my second stay. The Room was clean, the bed was large, and the front desk staff were kind and courteous—an excellent Hotel with nothing to complain about. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Kamakura or Enoshima. Thank you very much.

    This is a clean Hotel.

    Conveniently located near Ofuna Station, with a taxi stand close by. The Hotel Room was clean and comfortable. You can take only the amenities you need from the shelves near the front desk to your Room, which helps avoid waste. As it is located near the railway tracks, guests who are sensitive to train noise may want to bring earplugs.

    Experience the reliability of the Mets brand! I chose the Plan with breakfast included. It was delicious, but I personally prefer buying my favorite items from a café or convenience store rather than opting for the 1,320 yen breakfast buffet.

    Functional and convenient Business Hotel

    It is a 3-minute walk from the nearest Ofuna Station, and the station building has commercial facilities. There are many convenience stores, drugstores, and restaurants around the station, making it a convenient location. However, since most JR Hotels are either in the station building or adjacent to the station, this distance felt somewhat far. The hotel is still new, and both the interior and guest rooms were clean and well-maintained. Being next to the railway, the sound of trains was clearly audible, so I used earplugs when sleeping. The facility includes an ice machine, microwave, and coin laundry, and the guest rooms are equipped with a humidifying air purifier, providing all the necessary functions for business guests. The front desk and cleaning staff were all friendly and efficient, and I was satisfied with their hospitable service. I was able to stay without any stress during my stay, and I have trust and a sense of security in JR Hotels, so I would like to stay here again on my next business trip to Ofuna.

    Close to the station and cost-effective, but the meals aren't great... No Meals Included might be a good option.

    The way from the station is hard to find, but it's close. The building is clean, but the bathroom drainage is poor and not well-maintained. Breakfast is at the Italian restaurant on the first floor, but there is only one staff member, so the service is not good. The food variety is limited and unsatisfactory. I thought No Meals Included would have been better. It's a good Hotel if you're just looking to sleep.

    - The strong body odor from the previous guest lingered, which was extremely unpleasant. - Only reused slippers of questionable cleanliness were provided. At this price, disposable slippers should be a given.

    It was a wonderful hotel.

    The hotel was very clean, with no unnecessary items in the room, making it simple and comfortable to stay in. There was no interaction with staff, as everything was automated, but it was smooth. I think it would be nice if the staff standing there had a slightly more welcoming smile, but even without that, I would like to stay again if I have the chance. The bed was also very good, allowing me to rest well. Thank you very much.
