The Room was very clean, and since it overlooked the river, the view was excellent! The first floor features a lovely European-style interior. The restaurant has large windows, creating an open and airy atmosphere! Although it’s close to the downtown area, it’s in a quiet location. We were very satisfied!

A classic Hotel conveniently located for theatergoing

I stayed here for a trip to Hakataza Theater. The front desk staff were pleasant at any time of day, and it’s a calm, mid-sized Hotel with classic décor. The amenities and shower gel were thoughtfully provided, making for a comfortable stay. However, one of the closet doors felt like it might break when I tried to open it, so I used only the other door. I had the Western-style breakfast at the café restaurant on the first floor; the unlimited refills of coffee and a hearty ham-and-eggs made with two eggs were great. I also liked the European-style interior, and it’s just a 5-minute walk from Hakataza Theater. I’d like to stay again.

Great location, and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.

This is a reasonably priced Business Hotel near Nakasu-Kawabata Station. It was a shame there is no large public bath, but the front desk staff were very helpful and recommended nearby sightseeing spots and delicious yatai food stalls (right in front of the Hotel) that felt safe to visit. The pajamas are a one-piece style without pants, so I would like to see that improved.

    Stains and dirt

Large stains remain... in the bathroom and on the carpet. It was my first experience, and I was very shocked.

The facility has a somewhat vintage design, possibly inspired by Europe.

The Facility has a somewhat vintage feel, possibly inspired by Europe. The service left a good impression. It would be even better if there were more variety in the breakfast options.

    It is a good Hotel.

The hotel staff provides excellent service. Their polite responses and accurate guidance on directions and nearby facilities are highly commendable. I was able to stay at a lower price with an advance Reservation, and I would love to stay here again when I visit Fukuoka next time.

When on a business trip to Hakata, please...

It was a very lovely Hotel. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, allowing for a comfortable stay. I only had a slight concern about the bathroom ventilation fan, but everything else was truly excellent. The shower water pressure was sufficient, the hair dryer had great airflow, and the meals were absolutely delicious. The front desk staff greeted us with smiles and provided courteous service, making our entire stay pleasant. I would love to stay here again when I visit Hakata for business trips. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!

    Scary and Disappointing Accommodation

Stayed for 3 nights on a business trip and requested trash and towel collection. On the 3rd night, I left the room after 8 AM and returned past 9 PM to find the door closed but with the lock bar down, leaving it accessible to anyone. After notifying the front desk, I entered the room. While no items were missing, trash and towels had been collected without replacing them with new ones or providing a new trash bag. The door was left unlocked in this incomplete state for an entire day. At checkout the next morning, when returning my key, I only received a "Thank you for your stay" response from staff. It was only after standing still with a dissatisfied expression that an apology was finally offered several seconds later. This experience was extremely unpleasant. The room remained unsecured all day despite personal belongings being inside—a situation met without immediate apology from staff upon reporting it. Additionally, during two days of using the ice machine and vending machine area on the second floor, I noticed that trash remained uncollected and cleaning cloths were left out—indicating poor maintenance of shared spaces. While I initially chose this accommodation because of its atmosphere, my stay ended with feelings of fear and discomfort. It was truly disappointing overall.

    Generally satisfied

About a 5-minute walk from the station. The entrance has three steps, so be cautious with large suitcases. Inside, the Hotel features a calm European-style interior. The Room is typical of a Business Hotel—slightly dated but clean and well-maintained. The bathroom and toilet are also clean, with a spacious bathtub where you can stretch your legs. There is an outlet on the desk, but none by the bedside. A LAN cable port is available, making it suitable for business use. Breakfast offers Western dishes, Japanese dishes, or porridge; rice and miso soup are refillable. Be careful not to overeat! Room keys are not card-based, so leaving them at the front desk when going out might feel inconvenient.

    Cost-effective Hotel

The Facility feels a bit old, but it was quiet despite being located on a main street with no noticeable car noise. While the Facility is dated, the shower equipment has been relatively recently updated and was easy to use. The hairdryer was also relatively new. There is no complimentary water or extras, offering only the bare essentials, but it is a cost-effective Hotel for use as a Business Hotel.

    We had a great time.

The parking lot was a few hundred meters away at a coin-operated parking, but since we could leave the car there for 24 hours, we were able to enjoy shopping in Tenjin the next day at our own pace. All the staff were kind and pleasant, making it a very enjoyable trip. Both the water facilities and the Room were clean, and despite being a unit bath, the shower had strong water pressure and was comfortable. In the evening, several food stalls appeared right in front of the Hotel. This is truly a recommended Hotel, and I think I will stay here again when visiting Tenjin! Thank you very much!

I stayed for one night in Fukuoka on short notice. The accommodation is close to the subway station, and there are several famous Hakata food stalls right in front of the hotel, which was great. I arrived at the hotel from the airport around 8 PM, checked in, and headed out to explore Hakata. Just a short walk away, there were plenty of dining options with delicious restaurants to enjoy. Of course, I ended my night savoring food at the stalls in front of the hotel. It was very convenient with an excellent location!

Is there an issue with the hardware?

There are no water bottles in the room, and the water dispenser on the second floor is out of order. The room's WiFi is slow on 2.4GHz, while 5GHz is unusually weak and low quality. There are no outlets near the bed, making it impossible to charge devices while lying down. The number of outlets in general is limited. Although extension cords are available for loan, guests are expected to pick them up at the front desk, which was surprising. The cord provided was very short as it was all that remained—indicating a lack of sufficient long extension cords despite high demand from guests struggling with outlet availability. In terms of amenities, as others have mentioned, the toothbrushes are low quality and unusable after one use due to frayed bristles; body towels are not provided either. When using the hairdryer, surprisingly, the TV turns off! The round table in the room is extremely unstable and wobbly. I did not opt for breakfast; however, it does not appear to be a buffet style. Given that this is an older hotel likely aiming to cut costs wherever possible, there seem to be many limitations here. For heavy smartphone users staying here, bringing your own 3–5m extension cord would be advisable. For those accustomed to higher-quality business hotels like APA or Dormy Inn, this place may feel quite stressful by comparison. With Accommodation Tax now implemented (200 yen per person per night added), I honestly find it difficult to consider revisiting under these conditions. That said, one positive aspect was that despite being inexpensive overall, the rooms were spacious!

    It was a sudden accommodation.

I stayed at a hotel near Tenjin Station on short notice. It was convenient with restaurants nearby. For the price, the location and convenience were excellent. Breakfast was not a buffet, but it had generous portions, and rice, miso soup, and coffee were available for free refills. It seems like a good option for high school students staying during exams. Parking was very close to the hotel and cost 1,500 yen with plenty of time allowed. Women need to bring their own skincare amenities, but they can easily be purchased at a nearby convenience store if needed. Unsure about drinking tap water, I bought 2 liters of water for 100 yen at the convenience store. The large bed allowed me to sleep comfortably even as one person.

    Overall, it was good.

It was a stylish hotel with a retro feel. However, although it didn't bother me much, there was a hole in the wall and the wallpaper was torn. Also, the ventilation fan in the unit bath was clogged with dust. The room had coffee, tea, hojicha (roasted green tea), green tea, sugar, and coffee creamer available, which was very nice. In previous hotels I've stayed at, they only provided green tea... I stayed on the 9th floor but the elevator came smoothly which was good. If I have the chance, I would like to stay again.

    It was comfortable.

Recently, there are many types of hotels where you bring amenities to the room yourself, but the minimum essentials were already provided in the room, and the room had a sense of cleanliness. Although it is in Nakasu, the quiet environment was also nice. I would like to use it again.

This is my third time using this service, and there are no particular issues. The breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, and I am always satisfied.

The comfort of the bed is excellent.

The best part was the comfort of the bed. The bed sheets and pillows were just right, and I was able to rest well. There were small hairs, possibly hair or beard, left in the bathroom and washroom, so I would like to request a thorough final check during cleaning. If the Room phone does not connect to the front desk, I would have appreciated it if this information was noted somewhere. There was a direct line to the front desk in front of the elevator when I was leaving. I didn't know, so I called the front desk from my mobile phone in the Room.

The smell from the bathroom drain is concerning, not the card key. It felt old. There are stairs to enter the Hotel.

    About Tap Water

The washbasin has hot and cold water dial controls. The water only comes out in a trickle, and while hot water is available, there is no cold water, making it too hot to wash your face. The shower had the appropriate temperature and water pressure.

Thank you for taking care of us every time.

I decided to stay again because I had a good impression from my last visit in August. The location is excellent, and I have no complaints about the service or facilities. Since it seems like I'll be working in Fukuoka more in the future, I plan to stay here again. I think the staff's customer service is excellent. I'm not a fan of overly attentive service, but their polite and accurate responses, especially handling necessary matters quickly, are very comfortable for someone as busy as I am. I rated the bath a 3, but I have no particular complaints; it's just average, not particularly spacious. I rated the guest room and amenities a 4, but since I feel like opening the window due to the season, I thought it would be nice to have a screen. However, since there aren't many seasons like this and I don't think it's designed that way, it's normal not to have a screen, right?
