    This Hotel has a wonderful atmosphere.

    I stayed here again because it was such a wonderful Hotel last time. It’s very close to the station with great access, has a lovely antique-style atmosphere, and the Room is spacious. I also appreciated that the hair dryer is SALONIA. The staff were kind and very helpful. I’ll stay here again when I visit Fukuoka! Thank you!

    It was comfortable.

    It was easy to find and conveniently located near Hakata Station, so I got there without getting lost. I usually stay in a smoking-allowed Room, but here the smell was not very noticeable and I had a comfortable stay. The toe pads also felt great and helped relieve foot fatigue. Thank you very much.

    I chose this place mainly for convenience and its close location to the station, just to sleep, but… I knew it was an old Facility, but… There were stains on the sheets, and the Room and other areas did not seem properly cleaned… I couldn’t sleep. It was extremely disappointing to pay to stay here and have this experience.

    I’d like to know more about the Facility.

    The in-room refrigerator did not work at all. When I informed the front desk, I was told, “It’s a cooler, so it won’t get cold.” However, it stayed at room temperature even as a cooler. After I explained this, they replaced it the next day, and the replacement cooled properly. The toilet flush was weak and would only go down after 2–3 tries. I reported this to the front desk as well and was told, “We will inspect it,” but there was no improvement during my Multiple Night Stay. The bathroom drain also smelled bad throughout my stay. In addition, there were no power outlets near the bed, so I had to use an extension cord.

    It feels very upscale. Even if it’s not an expensive Hotel, it’s still highly satisfying.

    The Facility and equipment are old. But that is more than made up for by the exceptional cleanliness and the staff’s service. You can really feel a consistent level of hospitality, as if everyone is thoroughly well trained. Even though it’s close to the station, I don’t know of any inexpensive Hotel in a major city with such a dignified entrance and such attentive care. You can’t deny the age of the equipment, but perhaps because maintenance is done properly, there was absolutely no smell from the air conditioner, and I had a very comfortable stay. The Room isn’t large by any means, but it was necessary and sufficient in every way. The temperature in the Room refrigerator isn’t very low, so I had souvenirs for friends that I wanted to keep well chilled, but the front desk stored them securely for two days. They answered quickly and clearly what they could and couldn’t do, which made my stay very pleasant. I will use this Hotel again. P.S.) I was glad breakfast wasn’t a buffet. Maybe my timing was good, because it wasn’t crowded at all and I could enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace.

    This is one of my regular accommodations in Hakata.

    I returned to Fukuoka Airport around 9:00 p.m. and took the subway. I had a quick drink at KITTE, then crossed the street to check in. The next day, I shopped at the Hankyu department store food floor at Hakata Station and headed home. On the Hakata Exit side, considering access and value for money overall, this is my favorite Hotel lately. It’s a bit classic, but very comfortable. I also like the Propancia amenities. In this Room, the light from the washbasin area was too dim to read while bathing, and the bedside clock was flickering—so it may be time to replace the bulb. I would appreciate it if you could check these. I slept very well. If there is one improvement I’d like you to consider as a Hotel, it would be having no power outlets near the bed. Business travelers especially want to keep their smartphones by their pillow. Some similar classic Hotels provide an in-room power strip without any construction around the bed area, so it would be helpful if you could consider that as well. Thank you again in advance.

    Please prioritize maintenance.

    I used to stay here because it was reasonably priced and well located, and although the property is old, the furnishings have a classic feel. However, with prices rising due to inbound tourism, I would like to see more effort put into maintenance and breakfast. Do you taste-test the breakfast? Also, the four corners of the bathtub felt slimy and unpleasant. That said, I didn’t feel comfortable having maintenance staff who don’t even greet guests come into my Room to clean it, so although it was a Multiple Night Stay, I chose not to have housekeeping.

    Highly recommended.

    I stayed for one night. It was my first time staying here, and the location was easy to find and close to the station. The lobby and front desk had a cute antique style, and the Room was comfortable. I would like to stay here again when I visit Hakata.

    Necessary and sufficient

    I chose this accommodation for its balance between location and cost. I was assigned a corner room on the top floor, which made for a quiet and comfortable stay. The breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious. However, there were a few concerns: the view from the room was not impressive, the shower water pressure was weak and it took time to fill the bathtub, there were no power outlets near the bed making charging inconvenient (even borrowing an extension cord felt like extra hassle), and at breakfast, I was directed to sit at any seat upon entering but ended up waiting for some time. Although I hadn't handed over my meal ticket yet—which felt odd—guests who arrived later were served first. While it wasn't urgent, it left me with an unpleasant impression despite receiving an apology. It made me wonder if there could be a more efficient system in place.

    One of the cost-effective accommodations for trips to Hakata.

    The Facility has a classic style and offers only basic amenities, but the front desk staff are always friendly, attentive, and provide excellent service. The Hotel's prime location near Hakata Station, with Lawson and Poplar convenience stores right next door, makes it exceptionally convenient. Considering these factors, it offers outstanding value for money. Even as Hotel prices continue to rise, this Hotel remains reasonably priced compared to nearby options. Despite being slightly older, the Room is not overly small for its price range—perhaps an advantage of its age. The Room cleaning is thorough and consistent, with no issues like sagging beds. While updates to the bathroom facilities would be appreciated in the future, staying here at such a great value makes it entirely acceptable. This Hotel consistently provides a comfortable stay at an affordable price point.

    Hotel near Hakata Station

    I stayed for one night. It is very convenient as it is close to Hakata Station. The Hotel seems to have been around for some time, but it was clean. I was satisfied with the service at the front desk. I thought it would be nice if breakfast had more unique features. Since Hakata has so many delicious foods, it would be great to enjoy them from the morning.

    Overall good

    Stayed for a business trip. The entrance has an elegant interior that gives a travel-like atmosphere. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The Room size is average, but the bed is spacious and comfortable. This time, I stayed in a Room facing the road, and the city view from the window was nice. There is no large public bath, but the standard bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Amenities provided in the Room are basic but sufficient. Great value for money!

    A stylish antique-style Hotel from a different perspective

    Certainly an older accommodation often seen in urban areas, but the room's cleanliness was impeccable. There was no odor from the shower curtain, and there were no noticeable damages or stains on the furnishings. Even during this peak summer season, I could board my return Shinkansen without being drenched in sweat, thanks to its excellent location. As long as the price range remains unchanged, I would like to make this my regular accommodation when visiting Fukuoka. I also greatly appreciated being able to continue using the same room despite an unexpected extension of my stay (as sometimes a check-out might be required depending on circumstances).

    The Hotel's service is terrible.

    I accidentally reserved more rooms than needed on my mobile while I was out. When this was discovered at check-in, the hotel still demanded a cancellation fee and refused to waive it. Even though the hotel could simply set the cancellation fee to zero in their management system, they insisted that such exceptions are unheard of. It seems that in today's society, mistakes are not allowed—does this mean no one working at this company ever makes a mistake? If they do make a mistake, does the company never forgive them? In the future, I recommend not prepaying with your card for hotels. If something unexpected happens on the day and you can't go to the hotel, negotiate directly with them about any charges. Try bargaining down as much as possible—even to zero if you can. Honestly, I've always responsibly prepaid with my card before staying at hotels. But when I made a mistake myself, all I got was "it's your responsibility," and they easily took my money without hesitation—it’s truly frustrating!

    Close to Hakata Station

    It is an old Hotel, but it is always fully booked. The reasons are: it is very close to the station, there is a convenience store next door, and the Hotel interior is quiet. Surprisingly, its reasonable price might also be one of the reasons for its popularity. Good!

    Excellent access from the station

    The bed was too soft, causing back pain. While the mold and dirt on the bathroom tiles were concerning, everything else was satisfactory. The staff provided polite service, and above all, the location is excellent—conveniently close to the station, car rental services, and izakaya spots.

    I loved it!

    I stayed for two nights over the weekend just to relax at the Hotel. The hotels I usually stay at were all expensive, so I decided to try Dukes' affordable Plan for the first time. Both the lobby floor and the room had an elegant and calm atmosphere. It was very quiet for both days, allowing me to unwind completely. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    Conveniently located near the station

    I was looking for a Hotel at the last minute due to an unexpected schedule, but most Hotels were surprisingly expensive, possibly due to a famous artist's concert. I was relieved to find availability at this Hotel. The Facility is slightly old, and there were some inconveniences such as the Room being cold on a very chilly day, but its proximity to the station and bus terminal was very helpful.

    Worth the price

    I stayed for a multiple night stay for an event. Since I was traveling alone during the Christmas period, I thought a business hotel would be fine, so I used this hotel. The front desk staff were all pleasant, and as mentioned in the reviews, the room's TV did not turn off even when using the outlet next to it. I have been using APA Resort frequently lately, so I appreciated the heated toilet seat. There was no plug for the sink, but it was the type with several round holes that prevent hard contacts from flowing away, so it wasn't a problem. The bathtub faucet was also a mixed type with temperature settings, and if you are looking for better service, why not pay the appropriate amount and use a hotel that matches it? I usually decline cleaning during a multiple night stay, but the smell of the towels on the first day was a bit... so I asked the cleaning staff to only replace the towels. Everyone was very pleasant. I used the breakfast included plan, so I'll tell you about the meals. As for Japanese food, the grilled mackerel was fatty and delicious. If the kinpira was warm, it would have been perfect. For Western food... the fried eggs... I wished they were cooked a little more. The yolk was too runny... I also wanted the ham to be grilled. It's rare to eat cold ham just taken out of the pack and cut these days. I didn't expect much from the self-service coffee, and it didn't disappoint. If you're looking for delicious coffee, I recommend the coffee from the Lawson next door or the Starbucks across the street. (￣∇￣) This time it was less than 9,000 yen per night, so this is about right. It would have been cheaper without meals. If you're just staying, it's close to the station and very satisfying. There are no outlets by the bed, but it seems you can borrow an extension cord at the front desk.

    The hotel has an excellent location.

    The location was excellent, making it easy to travel by train to various parts of Kyushu during my four-night business trip. Although it was winter, the fact that the hotel was right outside the underground mall provided a sense of security. The only issue was the air conditioning (heating) in the guest room; it was unclear whether it was just how it was or if it was malfunctioning, but the warm air was unstable, and the room couldn't get warm enough. It might be a good idea to check on this. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to sleep well, which was great. I would like to stay again to check the air conditioner's performance.
