    The Room is spacious.

    I use this Hotel for business trips. I’m happy that the Room is spacious. If there’s availability, I almost always choose this Hotel. As an IKYU Diamond member, I also appreciate the 12:00 checkout time. I can also receive drinks such as canned beer, which makes me want to keep my Diamond status. From Tokyo Station, I take a bus—it’s just a short walk from the “Kameshimabashi” stop.

    A cost-effective Hotel with a great location, popular among inbound travelers.

    Stayed with my eldest son this time, following last year. This area is very familiar to me as I used to work nearby during my office days, and it’s in an excellent location within walking distance of Tokyo Station and Nihonbashi. After shopping for New Year’s sweets at Takashimaya and buying a bento box, we checked in feeling quite luxurious. We also enjoyed exploring the changes in the surrounding area, which gave us a refreshing start to the new year. There seemed to be many inbound guests, especially from Europe and America. The hotel is not large, so the lobby remains relatively quiet. **Highlights:** - The front desk staff were very polite and accommodating. A young male staff member who assisted us during checkout was particularly courteous and left a great impression. - Amenities are minimal but sufficient; everything you need is provided. The nightwear is stylishly designed as separates. There’s a machine in the lobby offering hot water, coffee, and roasted green tea—very convenient (as using the electric kettle in the room can be slightly inconvenient). The room itself is surprisingly spacious for this location, allowing for relaxation. - Located right by Hatchobori intersection with plenty of options like Lawson convenience store, Doutor Coffee Shop, Hanamaru Udon, Yoshinoya beef bowl chain, Denny's diner among others—shopping or dining poses no issues at all. - One reason we returned this year was for Royal Host's breakfast buffet! It offers an impressive lineup: pancakes or artisan bread that can be reheated using their rotating oven; Western dishes like curry rice (limited quantity), scrambled eggs with sausages & hash browns alongside cereals & two types of meatballs; Japanese options such as grilled mackerel/salmon plus salads—all thoroughly enjoyable! My son especially loved Van Houten cocoa from their drink bar—it tasted authentic & delicious! Highly recommended! **Points of Concern:** - There was some gurgling noise when running water at the sink which bothered me slightly. - A minor issue: there were two trash bins in the bathroom making it unclear which one served what purpose. - Noise from what seemed like footsteps next door late into midnight disturbed our sleep somewhat. Overall though—the positives far outweighed any negatives once again! My son & I are already discussing staying here next year too—it has become motivation enough amidst work commitments until then! Looking forward eagerly till next time!

    Convenient Business Hotel for Tokyo & Chiba Sightseeing

    We stayed at this hotel as part of a trip to visit an art museum in Chiba with my mother. It is about three bus stops from Tokyo Station, and within walking distance from Hatchobori and Kayabacho stations. Hatchobori Station is also on the Keiyo Line, making it a convenient location for staying after visiting the art museum in Chiba. The room was spacious enough and kept very clean, and we appreciated being able to enjoy tea or coffee on the lobby floor. Since we stayed on a Sunday, many nearby shops were closed, so there weren't many options for dinner. However, being close to Nihonbashi and Tokyo Station makes it an excellent location during weekdays as it's in a business district. Thank you very much!

    The good points remain unchanged...

    During the COVID-19 pandemic, I frequently used this accommodation to shorten my commute time. However, it had been a while since my last stay after things settled down. At check-in, the staff kindly asked, "This time it's a smoking room; is that okay?" I explained that only smoking rooms were available under the plan at the time of reservation. They checked and promptly informed me, "There is availability, so we have changed it to a non-smoking room." Their flexibility and attentiveness reassured me that their excellent service remains unchanged from before. The amenities were as well-equipped as ever, making this long-awaited stay highly satisfying.

    Front Desk Staff

    The front desk staff provided excellent service! From the women at check-in to the man at night, everyone was great. The room's bed was spacious, and even with my child, we slept comfortably. Thanks to this, my daughter won second place in the tournament! Since she’s qualified for next year as well, we’d love to stay here again. Booking early allowed us to secure a reservation at a great price too!

    I arrived much earlier than check-in time and hoped to just leave my luggage at the front desk. However, I was informed that the cleaning of the Room was already completed, and I was allowed to check into the Room. This was very helpful as it was hot, and I was a bit tired. The front desk staff were also very accommodating.

    The charm and hospitality of a bygone era.

    The service quality and amenities exceed the standard of a Business Hotel. The atmosphere is calm, with no sense of rush. Both the interior and staff maintain a composed demeanor. While there are no excessive features or decorations, everything necessary is provided. From towels to disposable toothbrushes, all items are of high quality. The Room is quiet, thoroughly cleaned, and well-maintained. However, there are some drawbacks: the bathtub remains shallow even after renovation, causing water to drain when entering it—this can be inconvenient for taller individuals or foreign guests who may find it difficult to soak comfortably. Additionally, due to the building's age, some Rooms experience issues with drainage sounds when using water. Despite these points, this Hotel ranks among the top-class Business Hotels in Tokyo. Note: Morning and evening newspaper services have been discontinued.

    Thank you for including the Diamond Member benefits. I would greatly appreciate it if these benefits could continue for a long time. Amid rising hotel accommodation prices due to inbound tourism (especially in Chuo Ward), it was helpful to have pricing plans that allow local Japanese residents to stay affordably.     Stay in Tokyo

    I frequently use this accommodation when staying in Tokyo. The rates are reasonable compared to other accommodations in the city. The room is spacious enough for two people. It is just a 1-minute walk from Metro Hatchobori Station and three stops by Tokyo city bus from Tokyo Station, making it very convenient. Although many of the guests are foreigners, the atmosphere remains calm and pleasant. I will continue to use this accommodation in the future. I sincerely hope that the room rates do not increase.

    Excellent service.

    The room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view from the window. We stayed to celebrate my husband's birthday and our anniversary, and we were touched to find a birthday gift and card on the table. When I expressed my gratitude at the front desk in the evening, they kindly congratulated us in person, which made us feel very happy. The amenities were excellent, and a staff member at the front desk even handed me bath salts with a kind gesture saying, "Please enjoy these as well." After traveling from out of town with tired legs, I was delighted to find foot massage essence provided—it was perfect! I had a restful sleep and felt completely refreshed. Although I'm not very familiar with Tokyo, IKYU.com sent helpful emails about weather updates and details before our stay. If we have another chance to visit Tokyo again, we would love to stay at this hotel through IKYU.com once more. Thank you so much!

    I had a relaxing time in a spacious Room in the city center!

    I was familiar with this accommodation from the time it was the former Holiday Inn Tokyo, as I had once picked up overseas business clients staying there. I chose this accommodation for my stay after learning that a breakfast buffet is offered at the Royal Host on the first floor. **Positive Points:** The location is excellent, within walking distance to Tokyo Station and Nihonbashi. As mentioned in reviews, I was surprised by how spacious the room was. The large bed and sofa allowed me to relax comfortably, even lying down if needed. The unit bath was also reasonably spacious and satisfactory. At night, there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby (though they are closed on weekends and holidays). Before check-in, I bought a bento box at Nihonbashi Takashimaya with plenty of options available for any taste. While the building shows some age, the view from the room was quite nice, allowing me to enjoy a relaxing New Year’s night stay. After checking out, I realized I had forgotten something in my room; upon calling them about it, they promptly contacted me back so that I could retrieve it without issue during a revisit—excellent hospitality indeed! **Slightly Disappointing Points:** I looked forward to enjoying their breakfast buffet; while being able to choose egg dishes was great, unfortunately, my most anticipated item—the pancakes—were served cold which left me disappointed despite having access to high-quality toastable bread via their advanced toaster system! However overall variety in menu offerings along with drink bar options were satisfying enough. With such an outstanding location near familiar areas close by where my former workplace used be situated—I’d love another chance someday soon returning here again! Thank you very much for providing such comfortable accommodations featuring spacious rooms making everything truly enjoyable throughout my stay!

    Has the management changed?

    Close to Tokyo Station, the room was spacious and comfortable, so I have used it several times. The price has increased significantly, but I made a reservation this time as well. However, the cleaning was not thorough at all this time. In particular, the bathroom had a lot of dust on the light bulb, and the floor was covered with strange dirt that seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for days. There was also a lot of black mold near the air conditioner vent, making it an extremely unpleasant stay. If there is no improvement, I do not intend to make a reservation in the future, but what do you think? Has the cleaning company changed, or has the management policy changed? If there is a shortage of cleaning staff, I think it would be improved by having the front staff, who were available, help with cleaning. Anyway, it is time to consider future reservations, so please respond to this matter.

    Please improve.

    This was my first time using this Property. The reception was polite, and check-in was just like a normal Hotel. The Room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was a standard unit bath with no issues. The amenities were placed next to the front desk, and you could take them to your Room, which seems to be a growing trend recently. After having dinner, taking a bath, and getting into bed to sleep, the bed smelled terrible!! The sheets and pillows all had a foul odor like water stains steamed into the linen!! I couldn't sleep because of the smell, which I think is a fatal flaw for a Hotel. I hope this is improved immediately so that other guests do not have an unpleasant experience. Also, breakfast was at the Royal Host on the 1st floor, but there was clearly a lack of manpower (only two people in the hall), and the replenishment of food and drinks was not constantly checked (perhaps it was just a coincidence, but...) with empty containers left out! It was only after calling out to the hall staff that they started cooking and replenishing. I thought it might be better to increase the number of staff during busy periods. It turned out to be a somewhat disappointing stay (crying). I think it would be a good Hotel if these areas were improved.

    First time stay

    I stayed for the first time for purposes such as sightseeing in Tokyo. It is a bit of a walk from Tokyo Station, but it was within a walkable range without being a burden. The reason I made the reservation was that I thought the room was spacious. In fact, when I went there, it was quite spacious and comfortable, and I was fully satisfied. The sofa was also large enough for two people to lie down, so we could relax indoors. My husband said the shower room was narrow, but I didn't particularly think so. Personally, I really liked the towels as they were very soft to the touch. During this trip, I used two other hotels, but the towels at this hotel felt better to the touch than those at slightly more expensive hotels. I thought the area around the hotel was convenient with plenty of convenience stores and family restaurants. Thank you very much.

    Reasonably priced accommodation within walking distance of Tokyo Station

    We stayed as a couple for a concert at Tokyo Dome. It takes about 20 minutes to walk straight from the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station (it was hot since it was August...), which was convenient as there were no complicated train transfers from Tokyo Station, and it's within walking distance. Amenities are selected by yourself from a corner next to the front desk and taken to your room, so there is no waste. There is a wide variety, which I think is very good. The room is several times more spacious than a typical business hotel in the city center, and considering it's a hotel near Tokyo Station, I think it's very cost-effective. The facilities feel a bit old, but they are well-cleaned, so there is no problem. There is a solid desk for work, which made it easy to work on a computer. There are two convenient routes to Tokyo Dome: one is a direct route from Kayabacho Station on the subway to Iidabashi Station, and the other involves a transfer at Otemachi to Suidobashi Station. We chose a plan without dinner, but since the room was spacious, it was quite possible to have a meal in the room after buying food. Breakfast was a buffet-style breakfast at the Royal Host on the first floor, so there was no special feeling of having breakfast at the hotel (it's a typical family restaurant breakfast). Overall, considering the access within walking distance from Tokyo Station and the room's spaciousness, I think it's a cost-effective hotel.
