  A reliably great choice: Route Inn

  I often hear people say “Route Inn is always reliable,” and this was my second stay—exactly as described. I had booked a smoking room, but due to an error it seemed to have been changed to a non-smoking room, which briefly confused me. However, the staff handled it promptly and even offered a very polite apology, so I was able to stay comfortably. I have no complaints. It was great that I could check how crowded the large public bath and the breakfast venue were from my room. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was more than sufficient, but speaking personally, I would have liked a few more local specialties as a traveler—so I’m giving 4 stars.

  Regarding Check-in Procedures

  There are three check-in counters, and when I went to the middle one and gave my name, they checked the reservation and said, "Please fill out the accommodation card here," placing the card at the next counter. I feel like a similar situation happened at another hotel before, but I don't understand why they made me move to the next counter when there were no other guests besides me.
