    One-night stay, Room assigned on arrival

    We made a Reservation for three people with the “random Room on floors 2–5” plan. Our Room was on the 2nd floor, but it felt like a staff Room. The Room was very humid, and the futon and pillows were damp. Since the price was not cheap and it didn’t seem crowded, we would have appreciated more consideration for the Room. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

    I had a very comfort...

    I had a very comfortable stay. It was close to the station and very convenient. I was impressed that the skincare products at the amenities bar were Sekkisei. This time I booked No Meals Included, but I would have liked to try the breakfast if I had the chance.

    Recently, the service has become less attentive.

    It’s a conveniently located and fairly clean Business Hotel near the station, and the service used to be good, but for a while now it has gradually become less attentive. I had a more pleasant stay at Urban Grace Hotel.

    I stayed alone for business and had a very comfortable stay thanks to the great location. I had dinner at Shoya on the 1st floor and was happy to receive a 10% discount as a guest perk. I couldn’t use them this time, but it felt like there were various services available, such as late-night tai chazuke. Breakfast was also delicious, and I was surprised to be able to eat freshly grilled gyoza on the spot. Although it was just one night and not for sightseeing, I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Family-friendly (suitable for guests with children)

    We stayed with our children (3rd grade and kindergarten). The room was clean and comfortable. There was a complimentary drink service near the counter, and we were happy to find a Royal Host vending machine as well. We would like to stay again.

    Satisfied.

    The Richmond Hotel has clean Rooms. The lighting is bright, and you can relax and take your time.\nThe breakfast is also delicious.\nWhen I called because I thought I might have left something behind, they searched right away and got back to me. The response was quick and pleasant. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Family Trip

    We stayed at Richmond Annex Utsunomiya to coincide with a visit to the “Tsuguharu Foujita Exhibition” at my mother’s request, and also to enjoy some Utsunomiya gyoza. Our Room was a spacious corner twin for three (with an extra bed). Since we had a tall vehicle and my mother uses a wheelchair, we were allowed to use the open parking lot instead of the multi-story garage. The security guard was very considerate, which we truly appreciated. A coffee machine is permanently set up in the lobby and runs 24 hours a day, which delighted our coffee-loving family. The breakfast buffet had a great variety: I was happy as I love granola, my mother who prefers Japanese food was satisfied, and my husband—very curious about Sano ramen—was satisfied as well. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us. For dinner, we ate our fill at “Ryoshun Saro” on the opposite side of the station; the gyoza was delicious. Next time, we would like to stay for a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.

    It was comfortable.

    I was amazed by the size of the TV in the guest Room! The Room size, bathroom, and spacious bed were all great. The kitchen was well equipped, and all appliances—including the washing machine—were provided, so I had a very comfortable stay. The in-room cleaning was also excellent. I’d love to stay again next time. The security measures were excellent as well. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options and was delicious. The staff’s service was also very good. It became a wonderful memory—thank you very much.

    Despite the busy New Year period, the staff provided exceptionally kind service from check-in. The sea bream ochazuke for dinner and the breakfast buffet were delicious. In addition to festive New Year dishes, there were many menus featuring local ingredients and specialties. Although it was a trip for visiting family, it felt like an unexpected sightseeing experience. We had a very happy (and tasty) start to the new year! After checking out, I realized I had left one point card in the Room, but they kindly mailed it back to me. I truly appreciated this gesture—thank you so much. My companion also loved their stay and said we should definitely stay here again when visiting Utsunomiya. We both completely agreed on that. We look forward to staying with you again in the future!

    Convenient Business Hotel Near the Station

    I stayed at the accommodation when visiting a French restaurant in Utsunomiya. The room is not very spacious, but it has all the necessary amenities and is conveniently located near the station. There are also convenience stores nearby, making small purchases easy. The bathtub felt slightly dated, but the room has been renovated and is clean and comfortable. The parking attendants and front desk staff were very kind and reassuring. The late-night meal was delicious, and overall, it was a satisfying stay.

    It was comfortable.

    The Room was quiet and bright, and the staff were very polite, kind, and made my stay pleasant. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. I also appreciated the selection of desserts. I would love to stay here again.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, making it easy to find. There are nearby stores such as Yaoko supermarket and Daiso, with a 7-Eleven right in front. The Room, being part of a Business Hotel, was standard without any major positives or negatives. There is an amenity bar next to the elevator on the 2nd floor. It included facial packs, which might be appreciated by women. Since we were traveling with children, we were provided with kids' slippers, bath sponges, and toothbrushes. The breakfast selection was not extensive but satisfying in quality. The freshly made French toast, dumplings (gyoza), and Sano ramen were delicious. Additionally, the tai chazuke served from 8 PM was also enjoyable. The staff at the restaurant on the 1st floor were very kind and attentive to children and provided excellent service. One concern was the smell of the towels; they had an unpleasant odor that was hard to ignore. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Better than expected.

    At first, I didn't have high expectations due to the slightly old exterior, but the Room was completely renovated, and the bed was spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the strong water pressure in the shower. There was no typical odor often found in traditional Hotels, amenities were well-stocked, and the front desk service was pleasant. I plan to visit Utsunomiya again next year and would definitely like to stay here again.

    The service for guests and the staff's hospitality are excellent.

    We stayed for a multiple night stay during summer vacation with our children. The hotel is conveniently located near the station, with a convenience store right nearby. The front desk staff were always cheerful and provided polite and pleasant service, which gave us peace of mind. Additionally, the breakfast staff and cleaning staff showed great attention to detail, greeted us warmly, and kindly interacted with our children, which we truly appreciated. The room was kept very clean. Although it had a unit bath, the mist from the ReFa showerhead was incredibly soothing, allowing us to relax comfortably. After returning to the hotel on hot days, we were grateful for the cold drinks in the lounge and nighttime snack service. For breakfast, there were many menu items showcasing Tochigi's charm. The children enjoyed made-to-order French toast while we savored delicious galettes. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay and even said they want to come back again! This is definitely a hotel we'd love to visit again in the future. I don't usually write reviews often; however, this trip became such a wonderful memory thanks to all of your staff's exceptional hospitality that I wanted to express my gratitude through this review. It was truly an amazing getaway—thank you so much!

    It was a satisfying stay.

    The Room was clean, with complimentary coffee available during the day and free light snacks at night, making for a satisfying stay. The staff showed thoughtful hospitality and provided excellent service. While there is no large public bath, the bathtub was spacious enough to stretch out, offering a special experience and allowing for relaxation, which earned it a 5-star rating.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    I stayed with my 1-year-old child. Various amenities for children, such as slippers, toothbrushes, and sponges, were thoughtfully prepared, which made us very happy. The breakfast was delicious, especially the French toast and dumplings were so good that I wanted seconds. I often forget my room number, but was it a coincidence that it matched my birthday? This thoughtful service also made me happy. Thank you very much!

    The walls of the Roo...

    The walls of the Room seem thin, and voices from the neighboring Room can be heard quite clearly. It might bother those who are sensitive to noise. Considering the cost-performance ratio, it is within an acceptable range.

    Always enjoy a comfortable stay.

    I have been a fan for 10 years. The Room is spacious and clean for the price, and I always have a comfortable stay. Breakfast can be chosen from two locations, both of which are very delicious. This time, I stayed for two nights and tried both options; the menus were different, allowing me to enjoy both Japanese and Western cuisine. I also got to savor Tochigi's gourmet dishes in the morning. I would love to stay here again.

    Delicious breakfast

    As expected from a Hotel under royal management, the breakfast was delicious. The French toast made to order, as well as the cream croquettes, cream soup, and bread, were exceptional. The staff were friendly and sophisticated with their smiles. The evening sea bream chazuke service was also elegant.

    The breakfast was delicious.

    I used it for sightseeing in Utsunomiya. They offered sea bream chazuke as a late-night snack. I couldn't eat it because I went to a jazz bar, but I think it's an interesting service. Room: Not spacious, but no problem. Amenities: You bring everything from the front desk. Service: The explanation by the lady at the front desk was very thorough and impressive. Bath: No particular issues. It's kept clean. Facility: There was nothing particularly concerning. Meals: Breakfast is good. Satisfaction: I'm glad I stayed.

    The breakfast is delicious!

    I returned home for a memorial service, so it was just a one-night stay, but I was able to spend it very comfortably. The bed was spacious and easy to sleep in. What I particularly liked was the breakfast, which had a wide variety of menus, and it was fun to see many menus with the essence of Utsunomiya. The limited-time salmon roe added to the excitement. I got full during the first half of the buffet, but the bread and dried fruits in the back looked delicious, and I thought it would be great to have them with Tochigi milk. The service was also good, as they cleared the plates appropriately. I was grateful for the amenities such as charging cords and makeup removers in the Room. I would like to use it again. Just one thing, when I looked at the website, I thought there would be a charge for each entry and exit from the parking lot, but it seems that was not the case, which was a bit confusing.

    Breakfast is excellent.

    It was disappointing that there was no mineral water in the Room, but I was very pleased and enjoyed the freshly made French toast for breakfast and the fact that it is part of the Royal Host chain. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    Comfortable Business Hotel

    Recently, there has been an increase in slightly more upscale Business Hotels, and this Hotel is a pioneer in that trend. The location is just a few minutes from Utsunomiya Station. There is also a 7-Eleven right in front, making it easy to stop by. The rooms are generally very comfortable for business guests, and the cleaning was thorough. There are bedside outlets, a refrigerator with a power switch for quiet operation, a user-friendly desk, and both wireless and wired LAN are available. Amenities can be chosen from the selection in front of the reception. The razor, which I personally care about, is average. It is a two-blade pivoting razor by Kai, and shaving cream and after-shaving cream are also provided, which was helpful. Check-out is at 11 AM, but if you become a member, you can enjoy a late check-out at 12 PM from the same day, which is nice. Thank you for the hospitality. I will use it again!
