    Excellent value for the price

    Himeji Castle can be seen from the terrace on the 7th floor. The weather was unfortunately not great during my stay, but you can get to the Hotel from Himeji Station almost without needing an umbrella, as only the last few dozen meters are not covered by an arcade. The front desk staff were very courteous. The Room was more than sufficient for one person. The bathroom was a bit small, and there was sometimes a slight odor, but deodorizing spray was provided and it didn’t bother me much. Breakfast is about what you’d expect at a typical Business Hotel, but they also offered Himeji specialties such as conger eel, oden, and seasoned mature chicken with ponzu. With the convenient location and considering the price, I think it’s a good Hotel.

    Clean and convenient

    Conveniently located just past the shopping street from the station, making it a great base for sightseeing in Himeji. I asked to store my luggage before visiting Himeji Castle, and they kindly accommodated me. It was also nice that there is a terrace on the 7th floor with a view of Himeji Castle. The Room was clean, including the interior and bathroom facilities. Breakfast was very satisfying, with plenty of Himeji specialties. The only downsides were that there was only one elevator so it took a while to arrive at checkout time, and the refrigerator noise by the pillow was a bit loud and kept me from sleeping well—but overall it was a very good Hotel.

    Great value for money.

    The price at the Hotel we usually stay at went up, so we chose this one instead. We didn’t have high expectations because it was such good value, but the breakfast was excellent and the staff were very kind. My husband left something behind, and they promptly sent it to our home. Thank you very much for your help.

    Lost and Found

    I booked a very affordable plan by applying 30 days in advance. From the rooftop on the 7th floor, I had a great view of the illuminated Himeji Castle. Breakfast was prepared from 6:15 AM, so even with an early departure, I was able to enjoy it. Additionally, I forgot something in the room and caused some inconvenience. (I later came to retrieve it.)

    Hotel with a View of the Castle

    Thank you for your hospitality. Since my husband has difficulty walking, we were able to check in and enter the Room after 2 PM, likely because we called ahead. My husband rested in the Room while my son and I leisurely visited Himeji Castle and Koko-en Garden, which left us satisfied upon our return. We had planned to have dinner at the restaurant on the first floor, but it was closed. When we asked at the front desk about nearby izakayas, they mentioned there were some in the shopping arcade. However, the first one we found allowed smoking, which wasn’t suitable for me. The next option was a ramen shop where we decided to eat instead. If we had gone closer to the station, there might have been more options available; however, my husband didn’t want to walk any further. I personally wanted to try Himeji oden but couldn’t—this was disappointing. In previous stays at other Business Hotels, when asking about dinner options nearby, they often provided maps of local izakayas or similar recommendations prepared in advance. It would be great if such services could be considered here as well. Breakfast tasted fine; however, considering that many Business Hotels now offer complimentary breakfast these days, I felt that ¥1,200 could warrant a bit more effort. The Room was clean and compact yet functional and easy to use. It would have been nice if shower caps were included among the amenities. The view of Himeji Castle from the rooftop was beautiful!

    Business Trip to Himeji

    I stayed here during my business trip to Himeji. The view of Himeji Castle from the top floor of the Hotel was breathtaking. The staff were very accommodating, making my stay comfortable. The breakfast selection felt a bit limited. I will definitely stay here again on my next business trip to Himeji.

    West Japan Travel

    I stayed at the accommodation during a trip to western Japan with friends. The hotel was standard in every aspect, neither particularly good nor bad. The highlight was being able to see Himeji Castle up close, which was truly impressive.

    It exceeded my expectations.

    I made the Reservation simply because it was close to my destination without any expectations. The Room was a twin, but the beds were spacious, and the bathtub was relatively large. There was also an air purifier with a humidifying function, and both the shower and hairdryer were from ReFa, making it very comfortable. I do worry that placing such high-end hairdryers might lead to theft.

    Odor from the drain?

    As mentioned in other reviews, there was a slight odor from the bathroom/toilet drain, which was a bit concerning. Is it difficult to improve this? That was the only disappointment. Other than that, the room is small but not an issue. The front desk staff were pleasant. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but going through the arcade makes it feel not too far.

    I booked a Twin Room, but the room is small!

    I made a mistake by not checking the size of the Twin Room! The room was small and felt cramped. I chose the dinner and breakfast plan, and I was satisfied with the dinner.

    A Relaxing Business Hotel

    I stayed for a total of 2 nights; the first night was for a business trip, and I extended my stay at my own expense for sightseeing on the second night. The Facility is a standard business type, but the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were sufficient, and the Room was quiet and very comfortable. At the breakfast venue, staff constantly cleaned around the dishes and replenished items promptly, maintaining excellent hygiene. The menu was not ordinary, making it enjoyable to dine. I would like to stay here again for my next business trip.
