    Right in front of Matsue Station.

    It’s right across the road from Matsue Station, but you have to use an underground passage, which can be a bit inconvenient if you have luggage. The Hotel is clean, and amenities (including water) are available in the lobby for you to take what you need. The dinner and breakfast are buffet-style; the selection is neither too large nor too small, and felt just right. There are many dessert options, but I wished there were a bit more creativity—fewer choices with higher quality would be better.

    The ladies-only room was great.

    The ladies’ room felt very secure and gave me peace of mind. I was also happy with the amenities—the shower and hair dryer were ReFa, which was a nice touch. Everything was kept very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of local and homemade items. The chef’s omelet was perfectly soft and creamy, and the homemade pudding was outstanding. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were disappointing. I had several occasions to ask questions, but the young female front desk staff (more than one) did not greet guests or smile. They answered my questions, but came across as overly businesslike and cold. It’s a real shame because it’s otherwise such a great Hotel.

    I stayed here for a trip.\n\nI chose it mainly for the location, but it was even cleaner than I expected, and the Room was very practical—I'm extremely satisfied!\n\nThe breakfast was especially outstanding!\nThere was a wide variety of dishes, and I never expected a live kitchen omelet station—it was delicious. (I did notice the flow of traffic wasn’t great, but I guess that can’t be helped.)\n\nFor this price, the quality is excellent. I was truly impressed!\nThe lobby is also spacious and luxurious, making you feel like you’re treating yourself.\n\nThank you very much!

    Perhaps because we made our Reservation early, you upgraded our Room, and all six of us were very satisfied. We were able to relax and enjoy a spacious two-night stay in a twin Room for single use instead of a single. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the breads in particular were delicious—we were very pleased. The amenities were well stocked, and the hotel was close to the station, which was very convenient. We also asked a male front desk staff member to recommend a restaurant for dinner, and he even made a Reservation for us. We had a wonderful time with great food. Thank you very much. We had a great trip.

    Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and we were very satisfied as both offered delicious local dishes and rice. Breakfast in particular featured many local specialties, and we enjoyed trying a variety of items. Also, although there was no freezer in the Room, the front desk kindly froze our ice packs for us, which was very helpful.

    The bathroom has an unpleasant odor.

    The Facility seems outdated, and the shower curtain next to the unit bath smelled damp, with an unpleasant odor lingering in the room. Please consider using a curtain that does not retain odors.

    Spacious bathroom

    The Room felt a little small, but I felt safe and comfortable on the ladies-only floor. The bathroom was very spacious and had a large bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. It was also great that they provided toner, lotion, and cleansing products. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and in addition to the prepared dishes, they also made omelets to order on the spot.

    This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

    I stayed here on my way back from visiting Izumo Taisha Shrine. I chose this place because the bath and toilet were separate, and the delicious breakfast made me want to come again. The Room was also clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

    3-minute walk from the station?

    The Room and bathroom were very clean and impeccable. Breakfast was highly satisfying with plenty of ingredients from Shimane, and the staff's service was excellent. Regarding access, although the building is visible from the station, it was not possible to cross the road directly in front, so I used an underpass. The underpass branches off inside and has no exit on the Hotel side, making it impossible to reach within 3 minutes on foot. It seems convenient for those traveling by car.

    It is a very good Hotel.

    My wife used your service last time and mentioned how comfortable it was, so she made the Reservation for me. The Room was spacious, the bathroom was large, and it was a wonderful space. Unfortunately, due to arriving late at night and having work early in the morning, my stay felt too short. Next time, I hope to stay longer and enjoy more. Thank you very much!

    Spacious and comfortable

    I stayed for 3 nights to visit the hospital as my family member was discharged but not in a condition to travel by plane. It happened to coincide with a weekend during the Izumo Taisha event period, so most hotels were fully booked and prices were high. However, the room was spacious, and it was easy to navigate with a wheelchair, which was very helpful. The hotel had a warm and nostalgic luxury feel rather than being one of the recently popular simplified business hotels, which I really appreciated. I arrived slightly early and needed to head to the hospital, but they kindly allowed me to leave my luggage in the room before check-in time, which was very helpful. Thank you so much! I wanted to extend my stay in the same room for a few more days; unfortunately, it was fully booked from the next day onward, so I reluctantly moved to a nearby business hotel. The breakfast here was delicious—I usually skip breakfast but ended up enjoying plenty of it because it tasted so good! My daughter who had just been discharged remained bedridden and wasn’t allowed meals as per hospital instructions; she envied me for enjoying such a pleasant stay at this hotel alone. Next time I hope we can visit Matsue together for sightseeing and enjoy our time here!

    The Month of Gods

    On the day of the Kami-Mukae ritual, I booked this accommodation. It is about a 30-minute drive from Izumo. There is a well-prepared parking lot in front of the station, and the front desk staff were kind and attentive, making it a truly reassuring and pleasant stay. The room was simple but very clean, with a spacious bathroom that was excellent. The highlight was the buffet breakfast. In addition to made-to-order omelets and curry, there were many local delicacies available, which made it very enjoyable—Izumo soba noodles, blackthroat seaperch (Nodoguro), shijimi clam soup... The desserts like pudding and fig blancmange were also delicious. I would definitely love to stay at this hotel again!

    Breakfast is top-class.

    The Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast, including the Matsue specialties we were looking forward to, was satisfying. The variety of drinks and side dishes in the breakfast buffet was exceptional, making it the best among hotels of a similar class that I know of. However, it was a bit disappointing that the nodoguro fish was small with many bones, making it difficult to eat.

    Peace of Mind

    Stayed on the women's floor for my first solo trip. The neighboring room had three ladies, but it was completely quiet, and I appreciated the spacious bed. The omelet at breakfast was excellent. I couldn't finish it in one sitting, so next time I want to book a Multiple Night Stay.

    Should not exist?

    It was my first time staying in Matsue, and despite it being a holiday period, I was lucky to secure a Room reservation. Everything seemed to be going well until an unexpected situation occurred. I searched several times in different places but couldn’t find what I was looking for. While it’s something we shouldn’t take for granted, its absence made me feel unsettled. This time, I couldn’t find the slippers in the Room. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, but it did make me uneasy. After searching thoroughly and still not finding them, I decided to inform the front desk about the missing slippers. They immediately responded by bringing them to my Room. Thanks to their prompt response, I was able to relax and enjoy my stay comfortably. Thank you very much! This quick resolution allowed me to have a pleasant experience overall and turned into an amusing memory in its own way!

    Although the weather was not favorable,

    When traveling with family, I usually stay at an Onsen Ryokan near Matsue City, but this time, as I was traveling alone, I chose a Business Hotel. It had been decades since my last stay. The front desk staff used to be young women in the past, but this time it was a local veteran who knew the area well and kindly explained directions when asked. My room was upgraded to a larger one and seemed to be a ladies' room with specialized amenities like a ReFa hair dryer. However, there was no shower cap among the in-room amenities. I forgot to pick one up from the amenity station in the lobby and struggled when taking a shower in the morning. While razors were provided as standard, it would have been nice if shower caps were also included for ladies' rooms. If this is part of an overall manual for Excel Hotels regarding ladies' room amenities, then it's understandable; however, it’s something that could be improved. I rated the guestroom 3 stars because when dimming the bedside light at night, it flickered slightly. That said, the water pressure in the bathroom was very strong and comfortable. For breakfast: I went to the restaurant just after 7 AM and found it quite crowded—perhaps going later would have been better. Since it was a weekday morning by 8 AM or so tables started opening up again. Despite being busy, dishes were replenished frequently by staff members who even made fresh green smoothies using mixers on-site. There were plenty of local ingredients like Izumo soba noodles and nodoguro fish (blackthroat seaperch), which added to my memorable experience of visiting San'in region! My personal recommendation is dessert—especially pudding or blancmange (white pudding). You could pour caramel sauce freely over them; some people even poured generously! Breakfast starts at 7 AM so those leaving early might find timing difficult—but if you can spare time—it’s highly recommended!

    A Happy Stay

    The refreshing scent throughout the facility and the warm smiles of the staff instantly relieved my fatigue from the heat. With a detailed explanation and a map of the area, exploring Matsue for the first time was effortless. I stayed for two nights on the ladies' floor, which provided both security and excellent amenities, leaving me completely satisfied. The Refa hair dryer and shower head, in particular, added a touch of luxury to my stay. What stood out most was the breakfast I had been looking forward to based on reviews. Starting with clam miso soup, I experienced pure happiness as if swimming in its rich umami flavor. I also enjoyed Izumo soba noodles—a must-try when visiting this region—even in the morning. The adorable small-sized grilled nodoguro fish was so delicious that I savored every bite from head to tail; honestly, I've never tasted such exquisite fish before. The omelet filled with plenty of tomatoes was not only fluffy and delicious but also made by a chef whose skillful preparation left me deeply impressed. As for dessert, I indulged in pudding both with caramel sauce and without it as recommended by staff—I ended up having three servings without sauce because it was just that good! I look forward to visiting again during a pleasant season to enjoy another comfortable stay along with delightful breakfasts full of happiness. Thank you so much!
