    Reliable Accommodation

    I’m always grateful for Dormy Inn. Whenever I come to Obihiro, I stay at Dormy Inn Obihiro. The location is great, the staff are helpful, and I’m very satisfied. I was excited to be able to watch more than just terrestrial TV channels. This time I had a massage, and the therapist was very attentive and had a wonderful smile. I’m truly grateful.

    Good for a Business Hotel.

    Although it was a Saturday, it wasn’t very crowded. There were fewer guests from the continent, and—no offense—I felt more comfortable. There was also a sauna and a large public bath with the local specialty Moor Onsen. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was very good. Dormy Inn always serves local specialties, and since this is Tokachi, they offered butadon (pork rice bowl).

    Victory through comprehensive strength

    I used it again after a long time, and as expected, the Dormy Inn quality was outstanding. While there are minor points I could mention, the overall excellence surpasses other facilities with an impressive presence.

    I used it again for my business trip, but the Room is small. Also, the wall-mounted air conditioner is quite noisy. Maybe it's because it's old.

    Affordable and Comfortable

    Clean, efficient, and comfortable accommodation. The staff's service is polite, and for a Business Hotel of this size, the breakfast served in small bowls is delightful. The arrangement prevents congestion, which is excellent. The bath features a smooth-textured Moor Onsen that was very pleasant. If you can enjoy it during less crowded hours, consider yourself lucky!

    It was my favorite Hotel, but

    When traveling or on business trips across the whole country, I used to prefer staying at Dormy Inn and enjoyed my stays. However, the service here is not good, especially from the front desk staff. No matter where you pass by them or their position, there’s no greeting like “Hello” or “Good evening.” They just ignore you as you walk by. Even when asking about the location of the night soba service, they responded dismissively with a simple "Over there." Is it because Dormy Inn has opened so many locations?

    Reliable Dormy Inn Quality

    The hotel has a slightly old-fashioned feel, but the value for money and quality are as expected from Dormy Inn. The breakfast, service, and bath were all very satisfying. Meals featured local specialties from Tokachi, Hokkaido, offering a delightful regional touch and great taste. The pork rice bowl was delicious, but personally, I recommend the half-and-half mix of Katsugen and milk. The freshly made omelets served on-site were also excellent. Additionally, the classic post-bath ice cream and Yakult were enjoyable highlights. Although there was a WiFi connection issue on the floor I stayed (possibly due to a router setting error), when I called the front desk, they responded promptly and courteously. Highly recommended accommodation in Obihiro!

    The concept of a Business Hotel + Onsen is good.

    I chose a larger Room, and while the bath was spacious, the tatami area was narrower than I expected. That said, it was incredibly spacious for a Business Hotel, which was very nice. It felt older than I thought, but compared to a Ryokan, the Facility is much more equipped, and being able to see how crowded the bath and laundry are is very convenient. This is unrelated to the Hotel, but I was disappointed with Rokkatei. There were several locations, but honestly, the selection was... Perhaps it was a mistake to visit after the Rokkatei in Furano. That one was clean and had a wonderful selection.

    The large public bath is nice.

    The large public bath felt bigger compared to Dormy Inn in Tokyo. Considering the cost performance, the service is fulfilling, and I understand why it is popular. If I had to say, I wish the open-air bath was also a moor Onsen. The location is convenient with restaurants nearby.
