    There is no large public bath for women.

    It was disappointing that there was no large public bath for women. There was also no luggage rack for suitcases. Otherwise, it was average.

    This was my first stay. It was also almost my first time staying at Dormy Inn, but the Express seemed to be in a more affordable price range, and it was cheaper than other options for three nights including the weekend. First, the location: it takes about a 10-minute walk from JR Sendai Station. It looks convenient because it’s right by a subway exit, but JR Sendai Station and the subway’s Sendai Station are a bit far apart. Considering that walking distance plus waiting time for trains, I ended up thinking it might be better to just walk from JR Sendai Station. For me, these points were negatives. As for the Room, it had the biggest step up into the bathroom of any place I’ve stayed before. If you have back or leg issues, it can be quietly tough. My back wasn’t in great shape this time, so that step after a long day felt pretty harsh. Amenities are self-serve from in front of the elevators on the 1st floor, but only toothbrushes, cotton swabs, razors, and combs are provided. A body towel (waffle-texture towel type) is placed in the Room. I had confirmed they offer hair iron rentals, so I appreciated being able to pack lighter. The front desk service was standard; when borrowing items or getting a key for the laundry room they handled things properly and I didn’t have a bad impression. Personally my overall impression of this stay was on the strict side, but I used breakfast only on the last day and their gyutan (beef tongue) curry was so delicious that it really turned things around. It’s also rare to find miso soup with clams that actually has that much meat in them. The selection isn’t large, but having that gyutan curry alone made it an excellent breakfast. I’m not sure whether I would repeat this Hotel specifically, but I’d like to try staying at another Dormy Inn that better matches what I’m looking for.

    It might be a hidden gem.

    The "EXPRESS" version of Dormy Inn seems to be a slightly lower-tier option, as the accommodation cost is a bit cheaper. It feels like this might have been a business hotel under a different brand that Dormy Inn took over. Instead of card keys, they use real keys, and there is no auto-lock system. While the basic setup for Dormy Inn rooms usually includes only a shower booth, this location had a unit bath. The public bath is available only for men. Women can use the public bath at another nearby Dormy Inn instead. Depending on your perspective, going to another location's public bath might feel inconvenient or could be an interesting opportunity to explore other facilities. What I particularly enjoyed was the restaurant. Despite staying over the weekend, there were no lines for either the complimentary night soba or breakfast, allowing me to enjoy them at my leisure. While it may not be ideal from a business standpoint, it was very comfortable for guests!

    Unfortunately, not available for women.

    I often use Dormy Inn because I like it. This time, I booked here despite the limited availability of rooms. One of the things I look forward to is the onsen, but unfortunately, it was men-only. It would be appreciated if a rotation system could be implemented. As for amenities, there were no lotions or facial cleansers that are available at other Dormy Inns. It made me feel that this might not be a hotel catering to women. The meals had a wide variety, and the zunda mochi and beef tongue curry were especially delicious.

    This was my first stay with you.

    The staff provided excellent and courteous service. The bath was a large public bath for men only, but it seemed not very satisfactory. The meals were delicious and enjoyable.

    I stayed for two nig...

    I stayed for two nights. I enjoyed the "Yonaki Soba," and it was delicious. The extended hours for the bath and breakfast were very convenient. Thank you very much!
