    Perfect after a hot bath

    As bottled milk becomes harder to find, you can enjoy delicious Tsukada Milk here. I always look forward to it. Please promote it more to support local dairy farming.

    In-room loungewear only.

    The sauna was amazing! Among all Dormy Inn properties, the Niigata location is the best—on another level. I travel to Niigata on business every year, and I can’t wait for it! However!! The in-house loungewear smelled like a dirty rag… kind of like natto. Like a sports club… It smelled all three nights of my three-night stay. I really hope this will be improved by next year!!

    Great convenience.

    Pros - The Room was clean and comfortable. - Since there is no bath in the Room, the large public bath was available even late at night, so it was great to be able to use it anytime. - There is no shower in the Room either, but being able to stay for 10,000 yen was a good deal. - I couldn’t have breakfast due to my schedule, but I’d like to try it next time. - The open atrium design made it feel like staying in an apartment building. - The bath had a fun cave-like design. Cons - The bath is on the 10th floor, and there’s an ice machine and vending machines there as well, but because they’re in the same area as the smoking room, I ended up smelling like cigarettes even after bathing. I threw away the ice and took another bath. Later I found out there was another ice machine on a different floor, so I used that after returning to my Room. Having an enclosed space right next to the smoking area isn’t ideal—the cup for the ice also ended up smelling like cigarettes. - The refrigerator was by the entrance. I didn’t realize at first and searched everywhere. It’s inconvenient at night when you’re thirsty because you have to get out of bed and walk over there. It would be tough for elderly guests. - The toilet seat was cold.

    A consistently reliable Dormy Inn.

    Even though the Onsen water is brought in, having a large public bath is great, and the late-night soba service is also a nice touch.

    The front desk staff...

    Among all the Dormy Inn accommodations I have stayed at, the front desk service was the most disappointing. Additionally, the staff seemed too engrossed in their conversations, making me feel apologetic for interrupting them. Even while waiting for the elevator, their chatter and laughter were clearly audible, which felt unprofessional. The bath met Dormy Inn's usual quality standards.

    Dormy Inn...

    The Hotel is located a bit far from the station. The staff seemed formal and less energetic compared to other Dormy Inns. There are Lawson and FamilyMart convenience stores near the station. In front of the main road side, there is an apartment building. Even if your Room faces the window, there is no standing mirror among the rental items, making it difficult for makeup application. This Dormy Inn has a unique design with an open atrium in the middle of each floor. In my Room's washroom, I found two strands of hair on the sink area. However, the air conditioning works well individually! The sink is located right next to the entrance, with a refrigerator underneath it; opening it may touch your shoes at the entrance, which raised slight concerns about cleanliness. What bothered me most was that both the restaurant and women's bath were on the same floor. In the morning during breakfast or at night during "Yonaki Soba" service hours, I often encountered male guests in elevators or on that floor, which made it hard to relax fully. The men's bath is located on the top floor—perhaps because there are more male business travelers staying here? As someone who enjoys relaxing baths at Dormy Inn properties, I might consider choosing a different Hotel next time for better comfort and privacy.

    The walls are thin, and you can hear conversations and TV sounds from the neighboring rooms quite clearly. The Onsen was great.

    Anyway, Onsen!

    I'm glad I was able to stay before the "Closed for Construction" until March 2025! The "Omotenashi Dessert," natural Onsen, and free Yonaki Soba (ramen)... It's a property I want to make a reservation for again after April!

    This is my second stay. I thought it would be nice to have a bag to carry bath towels and other items when going to the bath. Other facilities with cabins had them, so I hope they can be provided in the guest rooms as well.

    A property where you can stay with peace of mind. The yonaki soba was also delicious. I wanted a little more Niigata-like touch in the breakfast.

    It was the best time.

    This time, I stayed for the first time. I had high expectations due to the excellent reviews, but it was far more wonderful than I imagined. True to its name as a natural onsen, I had an experience as if I were in a famous onsen area. I was really pleased to find a shampoo bar in the women's bath with various types available, and I was surprised that the staff frequently came to check. The amenities were extensive and well-prepared, allowing me to truly relax. The rest of my family enjoyed the night soba and were satisfied with its deliciousness. Next time, I would definitely like to try it myself.

    The breakfast is excellent.

    Tarekatsu-don, Noppe, Namban Ebi Miso Soup, and other Niigata B-grade gourmet dishes were amazing! The Onsen was also refreshing, with excellent water.

    Rooms with low soundproofing

    The hotel staff were all kind. I enjoyed the night soba and the ice cream after bathing. The large bath for women is not that spacious. The men's bath seems larger and has an open-air bath. The problem is the low soundproofing of the Stays room. The door of the Stays room faces the atrium of the building, and every time a door is opened or closed in some room of the hotel, it echoes throughout the Facility. The sound of guests walking in slippers in the hallway and conversations in a normal tone also resonate. Since it's an atrium, the chance of encountering other guests when entering or leaving the room is high, and you can clearly see which guests are entering which room. The walls of the room also seem thin, and at night, you can clearly hear the coughing of guests in the next room, making it hard to say that privacy is maintained. I like Dormy Inn, but the room has too many issues, making it difficult to use next time.

    Business trip to Niigata

    I always use it when I am on a business trip to Niigata, and I am very satisfied with the Onsen and breakfast. I appreciate the concept of Dormy Inn.

    Having a large public bath is truly the best.

    I used it for a business trip to Niigata. The Facility is a bit old, but it is well-cleaned and tidy. The large public bath has a sauna and a cold bath, and being able to bathe all night was great. There is also a convenience store nearby, so it was nice to enjoy a drink in the Room after a bath. Breakfast included many of Niigata's specialty dishes, and I was very satisfied.
