    Bath

    Depending on the time of day, there were many people and the washing area was full. Also, the bath water was a bit hot. We only had breakfast, but it was delicious and offered a wide variety, which was great. The futon was comfortable to sleep on, but it would have been even better if there were more pillow options.

    Good.

    This was my first stay, and the bath was great, the breakfast was delicious, and there were complimentary services like late-night ramen and ice cream. The location is excellent, so I will definitely stay here again.

    The breakfast arrangement was excellent.

    The Onsen and room were excellent as always! The breakfast arrangement was also very well thought out, allowing us to easily complete our meal with local specialties by simply following the order of the dishes. There was no need to go back and forth.

    The front desk staff were very accommodating, and the bath was excellent.

    This was my first time staying in Toyama. I had used other locations of the group before, so I had high expectations. The front desk staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check in together with my companion. The bath on the second floor was comfortable, though there was no view from the open-air bath. However, the Room's sink area inside felt too small for washing my face, causing water to splash around and making it less convenient to use. Perhaps due to the building's age, a proper vanity could not be installed near the toilet area, but using a sink for washing my face felt slightly uncomfortable. As for breakfast, while I had high hopes, it seemed lacking compared to other locations with fewer options like curry or main dishes available. Other than that, everything else was excellent!

    Breakfast features creative dishes using ingredients from Toyama, very satisfying! Enjoyed the soba noodles at night as well. The Room's bed felt a bit narrow for two people, so we will consider this next time. Both the bath and sauna were highly satisfying.

    Dormy Inn offers breakfast featuring local specialties unique to each location, and at Dormy Inn Toyama, you can enjoy delicious dishes such as trout sushi and yellowtail rice. Omelets are freshly prepared upon order, giving a luxurious feel similar to a high-end hotel. If you stay at Dormy Inn, we highly recommend choosing the breakfast-included plan to savor the local cuisine. Additionally, there is complimentary ice cream service after bathing with a variety of flavors—a delightful touch. The accommodation also provides thoughtful amenities that enhance convenience and comfort for guests. However, the front desk staff seemed unfamiliar with Toyama as they struggled to provide accurate information about the area around Toyama Station or public transportation. When asked for restaurant recommendations, they simply handed out flyers without much guidance. Despite not being particularly busy at the time, this level of service felt inadequate for an accommodation likely frequented by tourists. Incorrect or vague answers led to wasted time during our stay and left an unpleasant impression in hindsight. If unsure about certain information, it would be better for staff to admit so and strive for precise assistance as professional hotel personnel.

    It was comfortable.

    I was very grateful when I tried to leave my luggage at the Hotel before check-in time, and they allowed me to check in right away! The breakfast was delicious, and I also enjoyed the late-night ramen for the first time in a while. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    Twin room with break...

    Twin room with breakfast included. Decided on this accommodation as the nearby natural Onsen "Tsurugi no Yu Onyado Nono" was fully booked. Parking and a large public bath were the top priorities when choosing a Hotel. The room was smaller than expected but clean and sufficient for just staying overnight. Amenities are self-service at the front desk, but unfortunately, there was no lotion available, not even in the bathroom, which was disappointing as I usually travel without bringing anything. Breakfast was satisfying and allowed me to enjoy local Toyama flavors. The coffee takeaway service is a delightful feature of Dormy Inn Hotels. The bath area has proper security measures in place, making it safe to use. The complimentary ice cream and lactic acid drinks are truly appreciated as well! Dormy Inn never disappoints when it comes to Business Hotels!

    The facility and services are excellent, but something feels a bit off...

    The room was spacious, with a barrier-free toilet and a unique layout where the sink was along the wall instead of near the toilet, making it very comfortable. The bath, which Dormy Inn takes pride in, was excellent. The services like late-night soba noodles, ice cream bars, probiotic drinks, and the wide selection of comics for borrowing were great. The local breakfast menu featuring dishes like cod soup, sweet shrimp kobujime (kelp-marinated), firefly squid pickled in soy sauce, and trout sushi left me deeply impressed. However, there was still a sense of "something missing." During check-in, as the front desk was crowded with foreign guests, I used the self-check-in machine but received no information about the password for the women's bath or where amenities were located. When I called reception from my room to inquire about this issue later on, their cold response made me feel as though it was my fault for not confirming earlier—this brought tears to my eyes. Additionally, there were no guides or instructions provided in the room; details such as breakfast hours or bath usage times had to be checked via notices inside elevators. While there was a laminated note saying "There’s a small gift in your fridge," I wished they had also included something more practical like free Wi-Fi passwords instead—again requiring me to photograph elevator signage just so I could access that information. I’ve heard many fans say things like “If you’re traveling for business trips—stay at Dormy Inn!” But even occasional guests deserve just a little more kindness!

    Best value for money

    Except for the fact that the Room was a bit small, the cost performance is unbeatable. It's understandable why it's so popular. This Property is perfect for those who want to save on accommodation costs and spend more on food and drinks. The Onsen was also nice. The bed was just the right firmness, allowing for a restful stay.

    This was my second stay.

    This is my second time, and it was a good hotel. The breakfast menu was extensive, and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Thank you very much. Next time, I'm thinking of trying the natural onsen Tsurugi no Yu Onyado Nono Toyama.

    I used the property ...

    I used the property for the first night's stay during my 2-night, 3-day trip to Toyama and Kanazawa. The room and meals were as expected, and the access to the station and the Glass Art Museum was good, allowing for a comfortable stay. The only disappointment was the open-air bath. I was expecting a regular open-air bath, but it was a semi-open-air bath that incorporated outside air instead of having a view of the outside. Since IKYU does not distinguish between open-air and semi-open-air baths, it might be unavoidable. From now on, I will check the official website for confirmation.

    The Room was terrible.

    I stayed in a single room, and surprisingly, there was a sink attached to the desk next to the bed. This means that the water area is right next to the bed. This causes humidity to linger in the bedroom. Additionally, the wallpaper is peeling off, making me question if this is really a Dormy Inn, as it seems low-level. However, the large public bath is impeccable. The sauna and the size of the bathtub are highly satisfactory. If your purpose is the bath, it can be said to be a sufficient Hotel.
