    Onsen, late-night soba, seafood breakfast

    Automatic check-in/out makes everything hassle-free. That said, the staff quality is unclear. The Onsen has everything you need—sauna, cold bath, relaxation chairs, and a lying bath. No complaints. Why is the late-night soba oddly delicious? Breakfast is excellent! You can build your own all-you-can-top seafood rice bowl, plus assorted small side dishes and miso soup. Is it too much to add Hanton rice on top of that? The bed pillows are poor. My neck felt stiff the next morning.

    Fully satisfied, fully content, and kind

    I sometimes stay at Dormy Inn for business, but this time I stayed for two nights on a private trip. I looked forward to breakfast and enjoyed it slowly and deliciously both mornings while thinking about different menu combinations. The hotel was also conveniently located near the station, making it easy to get to my destinations. I could really feel the staff’s thoughtfulness in helping guests have a comfortable stay, which made for a wonderful holiday. Thank you very much.

    The open-air bath was wonderful!

    The Onsen and open-air bath were amazing! The shower was also a ReFa, so my hair felt silky smooth. The Room was assigned for us and it was a Japanese-style room, but since I have bad knees, it was tough not having any chairs.

    Convenient!

    In June 2026, I stayed one night at Dormy Inn Kanazawa. It’s close to the station, and it was great that they could store my luggage when I arrived in Kanazawa, and also keep it for me after checkout the next day. The Room was simple and very clean. The air conditioner had a remote control, so I could adjust it myself, which was convenient. There was water and some snacks in the refrigerator, and I enjoyed them. The Onsen is on the 14th floor, and you can go there in loungewear and slippers. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided, and at the sinks there is a hair dryer as well as toner and lotion. After the Onsen, I also had ice cream and coffee. In the morning you can have a probiotic drink. However, when I went at night it was crowded, and some guests reserved washing stations by leaving their personal items there even though shelves are provided for belongings—so I had to wait a few minutes. That’s why my rating is 4 stars. It would be helpful if a clear notice could be posted to discourage this behavior so everyone can use the facilities comfortably. There is also complimentary “yonaki soba” (late-night noodles) served after 9:00 p.m., and since the portion isn’t large it was easy to finish. I traveled with my family, and they also said they liked the Onsen very much. My overall impression: great location near the station, polite staff service, plus nice extras like ice cream, coffee, and late-night noodles. I would like to stay again.

    The in-room clothing...

    The in-room clothing provided included M and L sizes. My daughter wore the M size, and I wore the L size, but we immediately noticed a strong lingering body odor, making it impossible to wear. It felt as though they hadn't been washed. We contacted the front desk right away and exchanged for an M size (assuming it might have been worn more by women). The in-room clothing was made of jersey-like material and hung on hangers, which made it hard to tell if they had been washed or not. This was not a pleasant experience. We would appreciate a service that ensures guests can confirm the clothing has been properly cleaned.

    Local Delicacies

    The Room is compact but has plenty of power outlets. Breakfast offers a wide variety, including many local specialties! I enjoyed both Hanton Rice and Kanazawa Curry, leaving me fully satisfied! The late-night ramen and post-bath ice cream are excellent services! I will definitely stay here again.

    Reliable!

    I always feel at ease staying at your Hotel! Upon arrival, I head straight to the bath, enjoying a relaxing soak and a session in the sauna while it's still quiet. Afterward, I refresh myself with cold water and ice cream. Then, I go to my Room for some dessert before heading out to explore the nightlife. Visiting a recommended spot, I enjoy a complimentary drink—this is my routine no matter which city I'm in! In the morning, I indulge in a breakfast full of local flavors—it’s absolutely delicious! Finally, I take one last light bath and enjoy a Yakult-like drink before checking out. I look forward to visiting your Hotel again!

    The large public bath and post-bath services were excellent.

    This is my second time staying here, and I chose this Hotel because it has a large public bath. The bath includes an open-air bath and features the latest trendy shower nozzles, making it very comfortable. I also enjoyed the free distribution of ice cream at night after bathing, lactic acid drinks in the morning, and unlimited access to manga. I stayed in a smoking Room; while the Room itself didn’t smell much of smoke, the hallway had a strong tobacco odor, possibly because smoking was allowed on the entire floor. Improved ventilation or placing deodorizing agents could make it even more comfortable. I would love to stay here again!

    The breakfast was delicious.

    This was my second stay, and once again, the breakfast was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed having seafood rice bowls and local Kanazawa dishes in the morning. However, as the facility is a bit old and there are few elevators, it felt like a long wait during busy times. I would love to stay here again when visiting Kanazawa.

    Onsen and Breakfast

    This is my go-to accommodation in Kanazawa. Check-in first and head straight to the large public bath. Enjoy an endless loop of lying bath → sauna → cold bath → sauna → cold bath, then finish with a relaxation chair or lying bath, and an hour flies by in no time. After dinner, savor the "Yonaki Soba," a light soy sauce ramen that is delicious. The next morning starts with another soak followed by breakfast featuring chirashi sushi and various Japanese side dishes—a sure path to indulgence! The accommodation is also conveniently close to the station, leaving nothing to complain about.

    It was a twin room with only a shower, but the large Onsen bath was excellent. The room had enough space to place a suitcase and was relatively spacious for a Business Hotel. However, while I knew it only had a shower, going to the large Onsen bath after coming back tired was slightly challenging. Also, the free late-night ramen was very delicious.

    Simple, comfortable, and satisfying.

    The facility and the room were clean and simple, with no unnecessary items, which was great. The breakfast was enjoyable even during a multiple night stay, as the menu changed daily and everything was delicious. The vegetables were fresh, the fruits were tasty, and there was a wide variety of drinks like coffee to enjoy to your heart's content. The Onsen and the large public bath were also excellent. I had ice cream after bathing, so unfortunately I missed out on trying the late-night ramen. If I visit Kanazawa again, I would definitely like to stay here. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I had a comfortable stay.

    The public bath was spacious and clean. Additionally, the night soba and breakfast were available, with a wide variety of options that were excellent. The Room was also clean, though it felt slightly dated, and the toilet's water tank seemed old. Other than that, it was very comfortable.

    I loved it!

    Clean and spacious, with comfortable beds, and delightful treats like jelly, ice cream, coffee, and ramen that added excitement! The bath was very relaxing. However, there was a line for the lockers in the changing room, so it might be good to plan your timing. I'm now interested in trying other Dormy Inn locations as well!

    Excellent

    I visit Kanazawa several times a year and always stay at Dormy Inn Kanazawa. The location is excellent, with easy access to Forus and the shops inside the station. As a smoker, I appreciate that there is a smoking floor (though it’s unfortunate that it’s now limited to the 7th floor instead of including higher floors as before). Having done extensive sightseeing during my first visit, I now mostly relax in the Room after buying food and drinks from shops inside the station. The comfortable Room makes this experience enjoyable. I usually opt for Multiple Night Stay without cleaning services, but I’ve noticed that the cleaning staff working on other rooms are very kind, which adds to my satisfaction. The late-night ramen and breakfast here are better than many other places—absolutely fantastic!

    Great location with an excellent public bath.

    Conveniently located near Kanazawa Station, the Hotel is an excellent base for exploring Kanazawa city and other areas in the Hokuriku region. The public bath was clean and fantastic. The only downside was the noticeable smell of tobacco, possibly because it was not a non-smoking room.

    Meal service for early morning departures

    In previous hotels, if I paid for breakfast but had to leave before it started, I could request the night before and receive a sandwich or similar item upon departure. However, this time, I was simply told "too bad," which left me questioning the response. Since expectations for breakfast at this hotel were high, I was disappointed by this handling. Would it not be possible to know the breakfast hours in advance? If that information were available, I would reserve without breakfast for early departures. This spring, I stayed at various Dormy Inn locations and was satisfied with all of them; however, in Kanazawa, an early departure meant missing out on satisfactory service, which was frustrating.

    This is my second visit. The convenience of access from the station was appreciated due to the bad weather. The Onsen was perfect, with no crowding, allowing for a comfortable experience. I liked that the cold bath after the sauna had a low temperature (haha). It would have been even better if there was instant coffee in the Room. My companion was visiting Dormy Inn for the first time and was very satisfied. I think we will be staying here again next time. Thank you very much.

    When I thought it was a Business Hotel...

    I entered with the sterile image of a Business Hotel, but it was a comfortable Room with a Japanese-style room where you can lie down and two beds. Moreover, it was clean. If I may say, it would have been better if there was a trash can and a tissue box in the washroom. They are indispensable when doing makeup in the washroom. The apple jelly in the refrigerator was very delicious. My husband was also impressed, saying it's not just ordinary jelly! The bath was almost private, with only about two people, probably because it was a weekday. It was organized and tidy, making it pleasant to use. There seemed to be a place to put used towels, but no one had put anything in yet, so I didn't know what to put where. I think it would have been easier to put them in without hesitation if it was labeled as a used towel bin.

    The rooms, Onsen, and meals are very satisfying, but the service?

    I have used Dormy Inn in Kushiro and Matsuyama, and I was very satisfied with the rooms, onsen, and meals in Kanazawa as well. However, only in Kanazawa this time, I was told that guests have to make reservations for restaurants and izakayas in the city themselves. It was a bit surprising because I received very attentive service in both Kushiro and Matsuyama.

    Convenient Hotel near Kanazawa Station

    This time, as I will be arriving late at Kanazawa Station, I chose this hotel for its convenience from the station. Check-in was automated, so there was little waiting time, and check-out was also easy. They also held my luggage, and I had no complaints about the front desk. For the room, I reserved a slightly larger room this time. As a result, it was quite comfortable, and I was able to relax leisurely. Regarding the large public bath, the open-air bath was quite well-equipped in terms of size, but I thought the indoor area could be a bit larger. Generally, it is spacious enough, but I felt the space was a bit tight. (I thought they could reduce the sleeping space a bit more. With so many people, I don't think such a large space for lying down is necessary.) Also, I would like to request the hotel to provide a basket in the guest room for carrying towels and a change of clothes. It's very inconvenient without it. Please consider this. By the way, it would be even better if there were a system to place bath towels and towels for the washing area in the large public bath. If bath towels are difficult, at least having spares for washing in the large public bath would be helpful. (It's quite difficult to carry back wet towels.) The night soba was consistently delicious. Considering the location, service, and speed, it was the best stay. I hope to visit again.

    Long time no see, Kanazawa.

    Although I have a standard car, it was a bit wide and I couldn't park, so I used a nearby parking lot. Other than the parking issue, I had a comfortable stay. It would be nice if there was at least an affiliated parking lot...

    The response to lost items was considerate.

    I am a fan of Dormy Inn. I am very satisfied with the reasonable rates. As always, the hot springs and sauna were comfortable. I forgot my AirPods in the room, but I am grateful for the prompt and courteous response to my inquiry. Unlike other areas, it was conveniently close to the station.
