    Rainy Sendai

    Among Dormy Inn properties, it felt a bit dated. Still, I’d say it was acceptable overall. The yukata tie was torn, which didn’t feel typical of Dormy Inn.

    Enjoy the bath and our late-night noodles...

    Overall, the Facility feels like a Business Hotel. In terms of hospitality, I felt that the late-night soba, welcome jelly, ice cream, and the Onsen helped make up for the rooms and amenities. I didn’t feel any particularly special hospitality from the front desk staff, but the staff who served the late-night soba were cheerful and energetic, which was great. The Onsen is compact but very pleasant and relaxing. Thank you.

    Conveniently located near the station, and I’m very satisfied.

    I stayed here for the Onsen, and being able to use it all night was really appreciated even after a live show or an after-party.

    It was compact and comfortable.

    Used on a business trip. I stayed in a compact Room with a washbasin right next to the bed, and it was actually convenient since everything could be done around the bed. The large public bath was spacious, but the shampoo left my hair feeling squeaky. The only drawback is that it’s a bit far from the station.

    I had work in Sendai...

    I had work in Sendai and couldn't go sightseeing, but I was very satisfied with this Hotel as it has an Onsen with a sauna and serves local Sendai cuisine. The complimentary ramen, ice cream, dairy drinks, and pudding were delightful. Next time, I want to visit Sendai for sightseeing, and of course, I'll stay at this Hotel again.

    The breakfast and open-air bath were excellent.

    The breakfast was amazing. I usually expect the typical Western-style breakfast with bread, sausages, and omelets, but this time I switched to rice after seeing the delicious toppings like shirasu, okra, umeboshi, and seafood. It made me so happy to enjoy such a delightful breakfast. The hearty pork miso soup, desserts, and even bread were all satisfying. I also loved that we could enjoy local specialties as part of the meal. The yakisoba noodles were cut short for easier eating—such thoughtful consideration for guests! Thank you for such a wonderful and considerate breakfast. The open-air bath was also impressive; despite being in a Business Hotel, it was a proper Onsen made of stone. While not very spacious, it provided an authentic open-air bath experience that was truly enjoyable. I'm now inspired to visit Dormy Inns across The whole country. Thank you very much!

    Conveniently located near the station.

    I chose this accommodation for my trip to Sendai from Tokyo. It was conveniently located near the station, so I had no trouble during my stay. However, the staff's attitude was not very friendly, which made check-in an unpleasant experience.

    Satisfied with breakfast and bath.

    I chose this place after comparing various options because I wanted delicious breakfast and access to an Onsen. It was convenient as it’s not far from the station. The breakfast was excellent, featuring seafood rice bowls and a wide variety of side dishes, which left me very satisfied. The coffee service was also available outside meal times, which was great. The bath allowed me to enjoy the fresh outdoor air while relaxing, and the ice cream after bathing was delicious too. They also provided probiotic drinks, but since they were only available until 10 PM at night, I couldn’t try them. Although I always want to try the late-night ramen offered here, I’ve never had it because I’m usually too full after dining out in the evening before returning. The downside was that there were water stains on the mirror in the shower booth inside my room, which made it feel less clean. Additionally, at another hotel in this chain previously, there had been body odor on indoor wear (likely not replaced), so ever since then I've been hesitant to use clothing hung on hangers like here as it's unclear whether they are fresh or used. Similarly with slippers—since they are recycled and directly placed in holders—I initially avoided using them but later found ones wrapped in plastic bags near the bath area that seemed unused and decided to use those instead.

    Enjoyed the open-air bath.

    I recently stayed for two nights with No Meals Included. The Room was spacious and clean, which was great, but I especially enjoyed the large public bath. The outdoor bath was small but had a charming atmosphere, allowing me to relax comfortably. Thank you very much.

    I felt relaxed in the bath.

    Staying at this hotel for the first time. About a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station. Not exactly close, but with natural Onsen and delicious breakfast, it's worth it. The post-bath ice cream and late-night soba are irresistible for business travelers. Dormy Inn's success seems unstoppable. Thank you for the great stay!

    Customer service could be improved.

    I would have appreciated more explanation about the use of the Room, such as where to turn on the lights in the room or how to unlock the Room key. I felt there was a lack of information. When I stayed at your Hotel in Kanazawa before, it was excellent... That's why I chose the same Hotel this time, but I was disappointed.

    The smell of cigaret...

    The smell of cigarettes in the Room was strong, which bothered me. It might be inevitable since many people use it, but I would appreciate it if it could be improved.

    Good access from Sendai Station, excellent massage.

    As a fan of Dormy Inn, I tried the post-bath hand massage this time. It was excellent! The staff, though not very talkative, quickly explained the reasons for my stiffness and provided a skillful and effective treatment. Thank you very much!

    Where do I hang the towels?

    It was my first stay at Dormy Inn Sendai Ekimae in several years since before the COVID-19 pandemic. The meals were delicious and enjoyable, but I found it inconvenient that there was no towel rack in the guest room. I believe many other Dormy Inns have towel racks on the inside of the inner door. However, the room I stayed in did not have one, nor was there one on the inside of the bathroom door. Please at least install a standing type towel rack. Thank you.
