    I had reserved a triple room, but one of my companions wasn’t feeling well, and you kindly changed it to a twin and a single. I truly appreciated your support. What’s more, the rate stayed the same—I couldn’t believe it. Thank you very much. I also enjoyed the bath both at night and in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and therefore crowded, but we could check our place in line online, so it wasn’t any hassle. In Otaru, Dormy Inn is the best choice.

    The location is very convenient for sightseeing in Otaru as it is near the station. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of options. However, the room was dusty, which seemed to be difficult for someone with house dust allergies who came along.

    This is my second stay at a Dormy Inn. The facility is slightly dated, but having a large public bath and sauna at this price is fantastic! The women's bath reportedly had limited washing stations, leading to standing in line. Considering the increasing number of female group travelers recently, this might need attention. However, the post-bath ice cream and complimentary nighttime ramen are excellent! If you're planning an extended stay while sightseeing in various locations, consider staying with this hotel group.

    Second Stay at Dormy Inn

    I used this place for a trip with friends from outside the region. It was convenient as it was within walking distance to attractions like Sankaku Market, Otaru Canal, the Former Bank of Japan, and Naruto. The Onsen was comfortable during less crowded times, and the meals were delicious.

    It was great being in front of Otaru Station.

    Conveniently located in front of Otaru Station. Otaru Canal is just a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast included delicious seafood rice bowls. Since I stayed in Otaru this time, I enjoyed plenty of seafood rice bowls and sushi without getting tired of them. The Hotel's Facility was excellent as well. The Onsen was gentle on the skin and very relaxing. However, I was surprised by the large number of foreign tourists visiting Otaru due to inbound tourism.

    Stayed for one night...

    Stayed for one night during a trip to Otaru. The Hotel is conveniently located right in front of Otaru Station, offering excellent access. The public bath is on the second floor of the Hotel, so there’s no outside view, but fresh air flows in, making the open-air bath very pleasant. The breakfast buffet includes not only seafood but also unique Hokkaido specialties like soup curry and soft Katsugen, which were delightful to enjoy. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Otaru.

    Perfect as an accommodation.

    We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the room, Onsen facility, or breakfast. However, is it possible to limit the proportion of foreign guests? There were numerous behaviors that stood out, such as excessively taking free items like buffet food and Yakult without consuming them, entering the Onsen without washing their bodies first, blocking hallways and causing obstructions, and being loud. These actions were particularly noticeable and disruptive. Japanese guests tend to be more considerate due to cultural norms of restraint. Reducing the proportion of foreign guests might create a more comfortable environment for Japanese visitors. What are your thoughts on this?

    Breakfast, Onsen, and location are all excellent.

    The customizable seafood bowl was excellent. The nostalgic flavor of the late-night ramen was so good that I ended up having it two nights in a row. The ice cream after the bath was also satisfying. It was a highly satisfying stay overall, but it was slightly disappointing that the number of restaurant seats seemed insufficient for the number of guests, leading to long waiting times.

    We had a memorable New Year's holiday.

    I used it for the first time with my children and their spouses who returned from Tokyo. The Room had a somewhat dated feel, but the bath was spacious and comfortable. We have used various Hotels of the same chain within the region, and this was the best experience. My daughter-in-law from Tokyo was very satisfied. I would like to use it again when I go to Otaru. Thank you for your hospitality.

    There is no humidifier.

    The dryness in the room was severe, and it was very inconvenient that there was no humidifier available for rent. The Onsen was very nice, but the lack of a humidifier and the cracked washbasin showed signs of aging. The location in front of the station was convenient and excellent. Thank you very much.

    Great location

    Located in front of Otaru Station, you can easily drop off your luggage and head out right after arriving by train from Sapporo. It was very convenient for traveling to Yoichi or the aquarium by bus. The cleaning seemed improved compared to my previous stay, but the bedding had a strong odor that woke me up during the night. I hope the frequency of replacing not just covers but also the inner materials is increased for better hygiene. The Onsen was excellent.

    The bath is amazing!

    This was my first time staying at the Dormy Inn Premiere hotel. The bath was absolutely amazing, beyond my expectations! I was so impressed that it didn't feel like a business hotel's large bath, and I used it not only at night but also in the morning. It was also great that I could leave my car and take a walk to the Otaru Canal, which is within walking distance, before checking out.
