    Always a comfortable stay.

    The breakfast here is delicious, so I stay here every time I’m in Osaka. This time, they kindly stored my suitcase and refrigerated items before check-in, which was a big help. It’s a bit of a walk from JR Osaka Station, but if you head for Izumi no Hiroba in the underground mall, you’ll be fine. Considering the price, you can overlook the surrounding area around the Hotel. It’s also within walking distance of Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street, and there’s a nearby LIFE supermarket, which is convenient. There is no complimentary bottled water in the room, so it’s best to bring your own.

    Given the location

    The noise was constant but within an acceptable range. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The large public bath was also excellent.

    The blackout curtains were disappointing.\nOverall, breakfast was good.

    This was my second stay. Last time I didn’t notice—maybe because of the Room’s direction or floor—but even with the curtains fully closed, I could still sense the neon lights from the adult entertainment shops across the street throughout the night, and I couldn’t sleep well. The air conditioner also seemed old, and its odor occasionally bothered me. Breakfast wasn’t as impressive as last time: skewered fried items and Akashiyaki, which felt more geared toward younger guests. However, it was nice that they had rice porridge.\nOverall it’s still good, but I’m not sure I would choose it again on purpose.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    It doesn’t feel brand-new, but it seemed to be thoroughly cleaned, and the cleanliness was the best part. There was no dust even in the corners of the Room, and the refrigerator was spotless, so I felt comfortable using it. The air conditioner was a standard in-room unit, and there were no strange odors or dust. The breakfast area is small, but there was a wide variety of Osaka-style dishes from early morning, and it tasted better than expected. There were more dessert options than I thought as well, so it was hard to choose. It exceeded the price for what you get, and I’m glad I booked with breakfast included. The Hotel is located one street off a main road, but the surrounding area is full of love hotels, which bothered me when I went out at night. It wasn’t noisy once I was in my Room. Overall, it’s great value for money, and I’d like to stay here again when visiting Umeda.

    Breakfast was delicious, and the many small side dishes were very satisfying.

    I stayed for two nights on a Plan with breakfast and no in-room cleaning. It was my first time choosing no cleaning, but it felt reassuring knowing no one would enter during the day. On the second day, fresh towels, amenities, and loungewear were hung on the doorknob, so I stayed very comfortably. The front desk staff were also very polite; even when I left my luggage early on the first day, they handled everything quickly and efficiently. For breakfast, many buffet items were served in small bowls, so there was none of that unappetizing “leftovers after many people have taken some” feeling that buffets can have. There was a wide variety as well—I didn’t get tired of it even two days in a row. In fact, having two mornings meant I could choose properly and was very satisfied. The Hotel is in Kitashinchi’s nightlife area, and seeing the scene right outside was fun—it gave me a glimpse of Osaka’s deeper side. It’s close to the station too, which was great.

    We were extremely satisfied.

    Thank you for taking care of us with the “No Cleaning / 3-Night Breakfast-Included Plan.” In conclusion, we were very satisfied with this Hotel. The building itself felt a bit old, but it was very clean and we could tell it was carefully maintained. Towels, as well as bath mats and nightwear, were replaced with fresh ones every day. Breakfast was excellent, and we were able to enjoy Osaka specialties. It also felt like items were constantly being replenished. Staying without breakfast would be a waste. All of the front desk staff greeted us with smiles and were very pleasant; we felt the service was truly welcoming. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

    Semi-natural Onsen and a buffet with an extensive menu

    Compact yet well-equipped, and conveniently located a 10-minute walk from Umeda Station. A great value Hotel. Since it wasn’t a breakfast-included Plan, I added the buffet for 1,650 yen. There were Osaka specialties like nikusui and doteyaki, plus both rice and udon. The selection covered both Japanese and Western dishes with plenty of variety. The curry and hayashi rice also looked tempting. Drinks could be chosen from the coffee machine as well, with a wide range including juice, tea, and milk. The Room was clean, and the slippers were sturdy and convenient for getting around. The semi-natural Onsen was also very relaxing and helped relieve fatigue.

    The deodorizer was left running when entering the Room...

    Thank you for your same-day Reservation. Upon arriving earlier than the check-in time, I found a deodorizer running on the desk in the Room. I requested a Room change, but it took over 10 minutes, which made me anxious as I was in a hurry. Even after the Room change, the removed deodorizer was left in the elevator hall, which was disappointing. The Hotel is close to Umeda; however, due to many solicitors around the area, it may not be suitable for solo female travelers. That said, inside the Hotel was safe and clean, and I had a comfortable stay including enjoying the large public bath. Thank you very much!

    The Hotel has an older design, so there were no outlets near the bed. However, extension cords are available at the front desk, so it was not an issue. The front desk staff were very kind, making for a pleasant stay.

    It was a pleasant stay.

    Thank you for warmly welcoming me despite my last-minute accommodation reservation due to an unexpected stay in Osaka. The skincare amenities provided were very helpful, and although it was only a few hours, I was able to prepare for my next departure with peace of mind. As it was late at night and I felt uneasy, I took a taxi from Osaka Station. It was a 700 yen ride. The clean room was comfortable. Thank you very much!

    Stayed in Osaka afte...

    Stayed in Osaka after a long time. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. They kindly guided me on how to get to Ohatsu Tenjin and the underground path to Osaka Station, as I was not familiar with Umeda. It was better to ask the staff than searching on my smartphone. I didn’t use the public bath as I returned late and just used the shower in my room instead. On a minor note, I noticed some dust on the hairdryer vent and TV remote control, but other than that, the room was clean and satisfactory. Since I checked out early in the morning, I didn’t have breakfast this time, but if I stay in Umeda again, I'd like to try it with breakfast included!

    Fairly good

    I stayed here during the Osaka Expo, and the breakfast was excellent. The public bath was extremely crowded after 9 PM, which surprised me.

    The only drawback is its location in the love hotel district?

    We stayed as a couple to visit the Expo. The distance from the station is quite far. The claim of a 10-minute walk from the nearest station is clearly an exaggeration. It’s definitely not possible to reach from JR Osaka Station in 10 minutes. Umeda on the Hanshin Line or Midosuji Line might be the closest. In that case, it might be possible to get there in 10 minutes. The location in a love hotel district is a bit, or rather, quite embarrassing. No particular complaints about the Room or the bathroom.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    I initially got lost on the way to the hotel, but once I found it, I realized it was conveniently close to Hankyu Umeda Station. The breakfast featured a variety of Kansai specialty dishes, which were delicious. The staff were kind and helpful, making my stay very comfortable. I would love to stay here again when visiting Osaka.

    Satisfaction

    The Room was spacious enough, had a nice atmosphere, and was clean. Cleaning was done thoroughly. Amenities were well-equipped. The large public bath was also very satisfying.     Convenient for transportation

    Chosen as a midpoint due to an event near Umeda Station and a planned move to Kyoto the next day. While it feels slightly dated, the stay is comfortable. Conveniently located near several train stations. Close to entertainment districts, so I would consider staying here again if given the chance.

    Used for the first time in 10 years.

    First visit in 10 years. Convenient location close to Umeda if you don't mind the surrounding atmosphere. Room rates are reasonable. However, the facility feels slightly outdated, especially the public bath. It's a bit small, and the washing areas can get crowded. Compared to other hotel baths recently, it seems overall old-fashioned. The view? The analog scale is outdated, lockers can get congested with people using them at the same time, and bath mats are often wet. For those not using the public bath, rooms are functional and cost-effective. Did not dine within the hotel this time. Could be a good choice on rainy days or for budget-conscious business stays.

    Convenient Location

    Stayed here to visit the Expo with some familiarity of Osaka. Conveniently located near both East and West gates. Also great for sightseeing in areas like Namba. Even without meals, the nearby underground shopping area makes dining easy. However, the surrounding commercial facilities may not be ideal for families with children or couples. Despite this, the area is safe and quiet at night. Taxi access from Honmachi is quick, making transportation convenient. The onsen is small and can feel crowded; I only used it once. It would be nice if amenities included onsen bath salts or similar items, as well as complimentary water, which was missing and disappointing.

    The surrounding safety and the small size of the public bath may be concerns, but overall, it is a comfortable Hotel. The location is slightly outside Umeda, but there is an underground path nearby that connects to Whity Umeda, making it convenient. However, as it is in a love hotel district, there are some individuals who might make young women feel uncomfortable. The women's public bath has four washing stations and one bathtub that fits about four adults at most, so it tends to be crowded regardless of the time at night. Amenities are freely available to take as needed, and the Facility is clean. The staff promptly responded to rental requests for equipment.

    The glass...

    One of the glasses was clearly dirty or had oil stains on it. It was unpleasant, so I don't think I will use this place again. There are no USB ports or power outlets near the bedside, making it inconvenient.

    Highly satisfied.

    I stayed for one night with No Meals Included to watch the National High School Baseball Tournament. The hotel kindly allowed me to store my luggage before check-in, and the welcoming smiles of the front desk staff left a great first impression upon entering. The staff were warm and accommodating during check-in, providing explanations about using the facilities. The single Room was compact in design. As mentioned by others, there is no outlet near the bedside, so some creativity is needed for charging your phone at night. The public bath was neither too large nor too small and was comfortable to use. The changing area was clean and pleasant. Although the Hotel is surrounded by nightlife establishments, it didn’t bother me as I wasn’t interested in that scene. I will definitely choose Hokke Hotel again when attending high school baseball games in spring or summer!

    Japanese-style Room, 6 Tatami Mats

    The Japanese-style room with a 6-tatami mat area and terrace is quite spacious. Upon entering, three sets of futons were prepared, but we stored one set in the terrace closet. The floor chairs and cushions were also placed in the closet. The low table was folded and leaned against the terrace wall. The top-floor large public bath had five washing stations for men and four for women. Breakfast on the first floor included Osaka specialties like kushikatsu, doteyaki, and akashiyaki, with slight variations each day to keep it interesting even during a Multiple Night Stay. There are many bars and restaurants around the Hotel. No outside noise could be heard from the Room. Across from the Hotel is a baseball shop. It's close to Umeda, so I will use it again!

    Good transportation access.

    Perhaps because it is new, the staff's attentiveness was thorough. You can easily access the underground shopping area in Umeda, and the location is convenient whether you are traveling by car or train due to the intersection of major roads. There are also many izakayas. The nearest convenience stores are Lawson and Daily Yamazaki. The area has a somewhat dubious atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era, so it might feel a bit uncomfortable for a woman alone.

    The Hotel is located in the entertainment district, and I thought the bustling atmosphere with many young people coming to drink at the nearby izakayas was very Osaka-like. Inside the Hotel, it is quiet. The breakfast was delicious, as reputed.
