  I borrowed an umbrella.

  After arriving at the hotel, we headed to a nearby restaurant for dinner. It looked like it might rain, so we borrowed an umbrella from the front desk. During our meal, a sudden thunderstorm hit, and by the time we returned to the hotel, it was pouring rain. We were able to make it back to the hotel by using the borrowed umbrella to shield ourselves from the rain. Thank you very much.
