  Free parking—even though we’re right by the station!

  This is the reliable Route Inn. It’s right in front of the station, yet parking and breakfast were both free. We went to Tsuruga for a day at the beach, so we checked in late and checked out early—just needed a place to sleep—and this Hotel was a great value thanks to its cleanliness and large public bath. The bath was clean and the water temperature was comfortable, but the women’s area could use more washing stations. We also enjoyed the plum juice in the lobby. Overall, it offered excellent value for money.

  Reliable Route Inn

  I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of three nights for an event in Tsuruga. My friends and I each stayed in single rooms, and everyone seemed very satisfied. The hotel is right in front of the station, with a spacious parking lot, and the lobby was just the right size for meeting up, so we had no inconvenience at all. A nearby soba restaurant was delicious, so we went twice. It was also very convenient to have a shopping center within walking distance. I would love to stay here again when I visit Tsuruga. Thank you very much.

  The staff were very ...

  The staff were very kind. I really appreciated that they brought the luggage I left before check-in to my Room, and that they also stored my luggage until the evening after check-out. I would like to stay here again.

  Annex, without bath, men only

  Out-bath and communal bath are nearby, so no problem. Of course, there is a toilet and washroom inside the room, so you can relax. Since there is no bath, laundry is done using the coin laundry, but since detergent is not automatically dispensed, I purchased it at the front desk. I used the breakfast twice, and although it was a buffet, it was not exactly the same, which was nice. For example, Day 1: Miso-simmered mackerel → Day 2: Grilled mackerel with salt, etc.
