    The only choice in the Ueno area.

    I stayed here to coincide with my parents’ trip to Tokyo. I have a special attachment to Ueno Park, so I was hoping for a Room with a nice view, and I was truly happy that you arranged a top-floor Room with an excellent view. Thank you very much. Because I have trouble walking long distances and using stairs, it was a huge help that the Hotel is directly connected to Ueno Station, making getting around very easy. For anyone with mobility issues, I think this is the only choice among Hotels in the Ueno area. The Italian breakfast was also delicious, and I was surprised to be able to enjoy large mussels first thing in the morning. Since it’s next to an expressway, I wondered if the air quality might be poor, but inside the Hotel was clean and comfortable.

    The front desk staff...

    The front desk staff were very kind. The washroom was small, and it was inconvenient because I bumped my forehead on the glass shelf when washing my face.

    Convenience is greatly appreciated.

    I really appreciated being able to stay at a clean, conveniently located Hotel near the station. The Facility was well equipped with everything I needed, and the hospitality was warm and kind. This time, I was able to fully enjoy Ueno.

    I had a pleasant stay.

    I stayed at the accommodation to watch a late-night show. Since I traveled by car, I used the affiliated parking lot, which cost 2,000 yen from 4:00 PM to 10:30 AM. It would be appreciated if the parking time could extend until 11:00 or 11:30 AM as checkout is at 11:00 AM. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and allowed for a relaxing experience. I will use this accommodation again if I have the opportunity in the future.

    Quiet and close to the station

    The Hotel was very clean as it is new. Despite being near Ueno Station, it was quiet and comfortable.

    Jumping up...

    This was my first time staying at this Property. First, the check-in process using the machine in front of the front desk was a bit troublesome for guests who are not familiar with it. In the end, I couldn't receive the card key without the staff standing by to assist. Since there were staff members at the front desk, it would have been faster to check in directly at the front desk. The Room was clean and spacious, which was comfortable in its own way, but... To my surprise! At around 5:30 in the morning, there was a loud announcement: "Fan fan fan—There is a fire on the 12th floor! There is a fire on the 12th floor! Please evacuate!" I was staying on the 10th floor. My husband and I immediately woke up in shock. Later, there was an announcement saying, "It was a false alarm." However, there was no way we could go back to sleep after that. Since this was the night before an important trip, it was truly distressing. At check-out, I expected at least some kind of acknowledgment, but the front desk staff only said, "Thank you very much." I considered saying something myself, but I lost the motivation to do so. I felt that the fundamental attitude of this Property as a Facility was completely lacking. I would like to hear the thoughts of the management.

    It was good.

    It was convenient being just a 3-minute walk from Ueno Station, the Facility was clean, and the Room was spacious for a Hotel in Tokyo, making it very relaxing. The breakfast was buffet-style and very delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

    It is conveniently located near Ueno Station.

    I had a drinking party on the day of my stay and there was a possibility of missing the last train, so I made a reservation for a room without meals in advance. It's difficult to evaluate since I only slept there, but overall it is very clean and I have no complaints about the hotel itself. It's the reliable and safe Mitsui Garden Hotel. However, due to the location, there are indeed many East Asian guests.
