    Great value for money

    I suddenly needed Accommodation, so I made a Reservation around 11:30 PM and checked in at 2:00 AM. Despite the late hour, the staff helped me without showing any displeasure. It seems there were welcome drinks such as beer available until 10:00 PM—too bad I missed it. There was an amenity bar next to the front desk with everything you’d need, including cleansing oil, toner, and lotion. On the floor by the elevator, there was a tea server with unlimited tea, coffee, and apple water. My Room was on the top floor (13th), and I could see a calm nighttime view of Tachikawa from the window. The Room had a typical Business Hotel layout. The standout was breakfast—there was eel, which was fantastic.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    This was my first stay, and the location was very convenient, making it easy to get around and visit many places. The ladies-only floor was bright and clean, which made me feel comfortable. The complimentary drinks were very helpful, and in the evening they even offered beer, wine, and shochu—such a generous Hotel. Thank you very much.

    Good.

    The welcome drinks were more extensive than at other places. For breakfast, the house-made banana juice and dashi rice porridge were excellent. The Facility, amenities, and service were all flawless.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    I stayed the night before because I had work in Tachikawa in the morning. Although it’s located underground near the station, it was quiet and the Hotel was clean throughout. The Room was spacious and comfortable, with no issues. I especially liked that you can enjoy free drinks such as alcohol near the front desk. The staff were pleasant as well, and I’m very satisfied. I sometimes stay at Hotels near Tachikawa Station, but lately this is the one I choose most often. I’ll be happy to stay again. Thank you very much.

    The cleanliness was disappointing.

    There was mold on the inside of the unit bathroom door. If there is budget for an alcohol-free campaign, I would prefer that you prioritize thorough cleaning first.

    It was very comfortable.

    Services I appreciated included a hot towel at check-in, complimentary drinks (the onion soup was delicious for my tired body), alcohol and snacks, separate pajama set, the Ladies’ Plan (foot massager, amenities, ReFa shower head, late check-out), and the morning newspaper… In addition, since my hands were full with drinks, it was helpful to have a place to set luggage in front of the door on the ladies’ floor. The Room was spacious, and the amenities were placed in convenient locations, making it very comfortable. The other guests were pleasant as well; even in the small complimentary-drink area and in the elevators, everyone was considerate. If I could ask for just one improvement: the duvet sheet was simply tucked in rather than fully enclosed, so it slipped easily and raised hygiene concerns. Sleep is important to me, so if the duvet were fully covered by a sheet cover type, I would like to stay again.

    As scaffolding was set up outside the window due to ongoing construction, I can’t comment on the view, but the room was clean and well equipped, and I had a very comfortable stay. The complimentary drinks were great—especially in the evening, when alcohol was also available (apparently for a limited time)—and I enjoyed some wine and slept well. The service was excellent, and everyone was kind. It’s also close to the station, so I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Tachikawa.

    A long-established Hotel near Tachikawa Station South Exit offers outstanding value for money when used wisely!

    South of JR Tachikawa Station. A short walk from the main street near the station. Reception is on the 3rd floor. Plan with 13:00 check-in and 13:00 check-out. During seasonal sales, a limited-time free alcohol service is available from 17:00 to 22:00. Red and white wine, beer, shochu, and more. There is also a self-serve drink service in the Facility on the 3rd floor at all times. A microwave is also available, so breakfast is not necessary.

    Bath

    I have stayed here 2-3 times a year for many years because of its convenience. The Room is quite old now, so it might be time for a renovation. That aside, the water pressure in the bath was too low, and it took a long time to fill up, which was inconvenient. I don't think this used to be an issue before. Since you can't enter the bath without washing your body first, waiting naked for it to fill up is uncomfortable. If this happens again next time, I might consider staying elsewhere.

    I had another comfortable stay.

    Since last summer, I have stayed here several times, and it is always impeccably clean, making my stay very comfortable. The spacious bathtub is spotless without a single hair, and I could relax fully. I enjoyed a restful sleep on the large bed. I went out for an early morning walk or to the convenience store before dawn, and the front desk staff always greeted me warmly. Having a 7-Eleven right next door is very convenient. I would love to stay here again!

    This is my second stay.

    Close to Tachikawa Station, making it convenient for everything. Breakfast is always satisfying. Parking is available at Takashima Parking, just a 1-minute walk away (paid), saving the hassle of searching and proving very useful. All essentials are provided, making it an affordable choice. I use the 1:00 PM Check-Out Plan, which is very convenient and excellent.

    A convenient Business Hotel close to the station.

    The Hotel is conveniently located near Tachikawa Station, allowing easy access without getting wet. The front desk staff were polite and accommodating. The Room was spacious, with a desk by the window providing an open atmosphere, which made it pleasant to do some work. The bathroom felt a bit old and narrow, and it took some time for the water to heat up. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options; however, when items ran out, restocking took some time, so I missed out on one dish I wanted to try. It was slightly disappointing that the staff did not proactively address this issue until prompted by guests. Overall, it was a good Hotel experience.

    Mold on the in-room telephone.

    Upon entering the Room and attempting to set a morning call using the in-room telephone for work preparation, I found the phone drawer stuck. Forcing it open revealed it was stuck due to mold buildup. While preparing my meal, I felt nauseous and called the front desk. After some time, a male Facility staff member and a female room attendant arrived to replace it and left shortly after. Despite frequent business trips over many years, this was my first such experience as I near my sixties. The condition was severe enough to warrant inspection by health authorities. I am reluctant to stay here again for now. At checkout, staff only briefly apologized with no further acknowledgment of the issue. If this is considered normal practice, this Hotel cannot be recommended at all. A taxi driver mentioned that prominent figures prefer other Hotels in the area, which made sense after this experience.

    Exciting Plan for Live Events

    Stayed with the 24-hour stay plan, checking in at 13:00 and checking out at 13:00. On the day of the live event, it was rainy, but the Hotel was conveniently close to the venue. The 13:00 check-in allowed for a relaxed schedule and peace of mind. Rainy days during this season can ruin hairstyles within two hours, but I was able to redo my hair comfortably. The Room was more spacious than expected, clean, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. On the front floor, there were coffee machines and apple-infused water available anytime. Drinks could also be taken back to the Room in lidded cups, so I didn’t even use the tea set provided in my Room. The location near the station with many restaurants and convenience stores around made it very convenient. Above all else, breakfast was delicious! The miso soup packed with ingredients, creamy scrambled eggs, curry udon noodles, crisp salad—and an uncommon yet exceptionally tasty banana juice—were all delightful! Service from staff was excellent as well! It was my first time visiting Tachikawa for a live event but staying here made me want to come back again someday. Thank you very much!

    Clean and well-maintained.

    The room was impeccably clean, making my stay very comfortable. I loved the view from the window. The chair was extremely comfortable to sit on. As I requested a smoking room, it was fine, but there was a slight tobacco smell. Overall, I am very satisfied and would love to stay again!

    There are various parts that are concerning.

    First, I was concerned that the amenities were not well-equipped. Since I used the ladies' room, it was supposed to come with lotion and emulsion, but there was only enough for one use. I used it at night and had to buy more at a convenience store for the morning, which surprised me. In a typical hotel, there are various amenities available next to the front desk with a "please take freely" sign, but compared to other hotels, I thought the number of amenities was lacking. There was no cleansing oil, face wash, lotion, or emulsion, which I think could be inconvenient for women. As for the breakfast café, perhaps due to bad timing, it was crowded, and I was told it was full, even though I noticed an empty seat. After a while, I was shown to that very seat when it became available. Moreover, most of the food I could eat was almost gone, so I reluctantly found something I could eat, and just as I started eating, they restocked, making it a somewhat awkward meal. In the morning, the cleaning staff greeted me pleasantly, and I think the bathroom and toilet were cleaned properly. I believe that if the amenities were more abundant, the impression would change. When the café is full, I was told to sit outside the café, which meant carrying a food tray to a seat next to the front desk, a bit away from the café. (I declined this.) I wondered if something could be done about this. In the first place, the café didn't seem to have many seats... I've written quite a bit, but I decided to stay in this ladies' room after canceling my reservation at the hotel I initially planned to stay at, so it was a bit disappointing.

    It was comfortable.

    I made a reservation with a plan where the room is assigned at check-in, and I was guided to a twin room on the 12th-floor ladies' floor. It was spacious since I was alone. The outlets were conveniently located, making it comfortable. It was also nice to be able to choose between separate or one-piece pajamas on the front desk floor. I was surprised to see Mt. Fuji from the window, which allowed me to start the morning feeling refreshed. The service at the front desk and breakfast restaurant was also very good.

    Thank you for the two days!

    I stayed at this Hotel for two days for a LIVE event. There is a convenience store right in front, and many food chain stores at the back, making the location very convenient. The front desk and breakfast staff provided very pleasant service, allowing me to have a truly relaxing stay. During my stay at this Hotel, I did not have any unpleasant experiences at all! Thanks to the staff. I gave the bath a rating of 4 stars, but there was one thing... Occasionally, scalding hot water would come out of the shower, which surprised me a bit. It was hot!! But really, aside from this, there was nothing else unpleasant, and I was able to enjoy my stay as I wished. Every breakfast menu item was very delicious, and I was reminded of how nice Japanese food is. If I have business in this area again, I would like to stay at this Tachikawa Washington Hotel.

    Hotel with pleasant service

    I stayed for work. Both the front desk and breakfast venue offered bright and courteous service. I felt that the amenities were a bit lacking for a ladies' room, and I would have appreciated it if the nightwear included pants instead of just a nightgown. However, the exceptional service made me want to stay again.
