    I have stayed here s...

    I have stayed here several times, and the location is convenient and easy to access. This time, I was upgraded from a standard single room to a ladies’ double room, which made my stay even more comfortable. I recommend this Hotel in Sendai to anyone.

    We enjoyed everything—Tanabata, the Room, the large public bath, and the buffet!

    Tanabata is held very close to Hapina Nakakecho, so you can enjoy it more than enough. At the buffet, I already knew the beef tongue curry was delicious, but the freshly made fried egg—crispy whites and a runny yolk—was perfect with it, and I was very satisfied. For the first time, I stayed in a south-facing Room and could see both the Shinkansen and local trains.

    Convenient access from the station

    It was very convenient because I could walk straight along the deck from the station to the Hotel, even while pulling a suitcase. There was just one thing about breakfast that concerned me. Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety of options, but I couldn’t find any egg dishes. After I sat down and started eating, I noticed a card on the table explaining the egg dishes (how to order, etc.). Since I had already eaten quite a bit, I didn’t order any eggs, but I would have liked to know about this more clearly in advance so I could have ordered. I hope you will improve how this information is communicated.

    Conveniently located near the station, affordable, and comfortable.

    Directly connected to Sendai Station via the pedestrian deck—it's a bit of a walk, but very convenient. There was a female staff member at the bath reception, which made me feel safe and was very nice. The bath area was clean, and it was also great that you can check how crowded it is on the TV. The Room was a twin, but one bed felt like an extra bed had been added, so it was a little small. Still, I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again.

    I was very satisfied.

    I always stay here on business trips. The homely atmosphere makes it very comfortable. Good value for money is important for work travel, and I’m satisfied in that regard as well. Above all, it’s close to the station and reasonably priced, so I’ll continue to use this Accommodation.

    A Women-Friendly Hotel

    This time, I stayed on the 13th-floor ladies-only floor. Security was excellent, the amenities were well stocked, and the large public bath had a sauna, so I was able to relax thoroughly. Paying an extension fee allowed me to extend my stay, which was truly helpful. The staff were polite and kind, and they recommended some great nearby restaurants. I will stay here again when I visit Sendai.

    Conveniently located near the station, with a great breakfast and a large public bath. Highly recommended. However, the public bath was extremely crowded, so I gave up using it. As expected, peak times overlap for everyone, so you may need to adjust your schedule if you want to use it. Also, the service felt a bit businesslike.

    Both the service and the staff have declined in quality.

    I queued at the reception for check-in, but there was a guest standing slightly outside the line who was clearly waiting for someone. Even though they were not in line, the front desk staff courteously called out, “Next, please,” apparently because the guest had been there before I arrived. Although the guest said, “It’s okay,” they then called another front desk staff member from the back and forced their check-in ahead of mine. No explanation was given to me at all, which I found very unpleasant. At check-out as well, they tried to hand me a Receipt without printing it and confirming the addressee—basic service was missing. What Hotel hands over an A5 sheet of paper as-is? The same staff member handled my check-out too. I had also looked forward to breakfast every time, but this time it felt like both the number of items and variety had decreased. This had been my regular Accommodation for over five years, but the carelessness this time was extreme and truly disappointing.

    I’d love to stay here again! Very satisfied!

    The room was thoroughly cleaned and very spotless. Everyone at the front desk was pleasant and courteous. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was delicious. Items were replenished promptly, and we were very satisfied to be able to enjoy local specialties from Miyagi as well. The complimentary drink service in front of the reception desk was also very helpful. This time I stayed in a twin room with my middle school son. Since we are non-smokers, I went back and forth to the smoking room on the reception floor several times, but each time I could also enjoy complimentary hot coffee, which made it very comfortable. Thanks in part to the air purifier with humidifier, we were able to stay comfortably without the dryness that can be common in hotels. It was also reassuring for security that you need to tap your key card to access each floor. The Hotel was so comfortable that even after returning home, my son and I talked about how we would definitely like to stay again. I would like to use it again when visiting Sendai.

    Conveniently connected directly to the station.

    The location is convenient. The large public bath was a nice feature, but it was only available until 12:00, and I wish it had been open a bit later. I stayed in the ladies’ Room, and the amenities were well stocked, including sheet masks and foot patches. The Room isn’t very spacious, but considering the value for money, I was very satisfied.

    Two nights in Sendai for a concert

    From Sendai Station West Exit, you can pass in front of PARCO and reach the Hotel entrance directly from the sidewalk. It was easy and convenient for carrying a suitcase. For a two-night stay, I value comfort even more than the price. I like to take it easy in the morning, so I rarely choose a Plan with breakfast, but this time I did because there were menu items using local ingredients and it seemed to have a good reputation. It was very delicious. The small side dishes also made it easy to try many different items without leaving any behind, which was great. The housekeeping staff were very pleasant, and I thought they were wonderful. Thank you very much.

    I want to stay here again.

    Stayed for 2 nights on the ladies' floor. I believe I didn't specify the ladies' floor during the Reservation, so it must have been a kind gesture from the Hotel. I felt safe and comfortable staying here. The location is excellent, and despite being during New Year's holidays, it had a calm atmosphere which was very pleasant. The Room was spacious enough, and I was very satisfied with the luggage space and well-stocked amenities. The lavender bath salts and Sekkisei skincare products were particularly wonderful. The accessory box (a small velvety item) was especially appreciated as it helped me avoid forgetting things in my rush. Having extra hangers available was also a nice touch. Having laundry facilities on the same floor made everything convenient, allowing me to relax fully during my stay. A check-out time of 11:00 AM is also much appreciated. I would love to visit again!

    Large Public Bath

    The bathwater temperature was low, and both the bathroom and changing room were cold, making it a bit chilly. It was a snowy and very cold day when we returned from outside, so it felt slightly disappointing.

    Accommodation near the station offering a breakfast buffet with Sendai specialties and a free large public bath.

    After a long time since the pandemic, I had the chance to stay here again and was impressed by the excellent breakfast and great security. The complimentary large public bath is available not only in the evening but also in the morning, and there is even a gender-swapping sauna, allowing for complete relaxation from daily busyness. The location is incredibly convenient, being close to the station, AER building, and Nakakecho shopping arcade. I would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting Sendai in the future.

    Conveniently located near the station with a large public bath.

    The single Room was more spacious than expected and comfortable, but the bathroom had a slight sewage-like smell, possibly due to its age. The public bath itself was adequately sized and clean, but there was an unsettling amount of hair on the floor in the changing area and in front of the mirrors, making it uncomfortable to walk barefoot. Since there is staff at the reception desk, occasional inspections might be helpful.

    Astonishing number of amenities!

    I stayed at this hotel because my favorite band had a live performance at Sendai GIGS. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the station (though it took me about 10 minutes as I got lost along the way, haha). I reserved a ladies-only floor and was surprised by the number of amenities in the bathroom! These seem to be exclusive amenities for the ladies-only floor. I booked a plan with breakfast included. The breakfast buffet was very delicious. The beef tongue curry left a strong impression! Sendai's beef tongue is really tasty. If I have another chance to visit Sendai, I would love to stay at this hotel again.

    Comfortable and safe stay.

    I stayed on the ladies' floor. Access to the floor required a card key, ensuring that only female guests could enter, which made me feel very secure and comfortable. The amenities were plentiful (though it would have been perfect if there were two face masks per night—one for evening and one for morning). I appreciated not having to bring anything with me. The room was also clean, and I couldn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms, making my stay very pleasant. Unfortunately, the drink server was out of order, so I couldn't enjoy soft drinks, which was disappointing. However, everything else about this accommodation was excellent. I will definitely stay here again!

    I was able to relax.

    The Shinkansen was delayed, so I had to cancel my planned train and managed to grab a seat on an available one. Despite the crowded train, I made it to Sendai. I was warmly welcomed with great hospitality, which made me feel at ease. The large public bath had a system to check the crowd level, ensuring a comfortable experience. The breakfast buffet wasn’t flashy but offered a well-balanced selection of dishes, all of which were delicious. I would definitely love to stay here again!

    Overall, the satisfaction level is high.

    Overall, I was very satisfied. The location is close to Sendai Station and directly connected via a pedestrian deck, which was extremely convenient as I had a lot of luggage. I stayed in the Ladies' Room, and the amenities were excellent—comprehensive enough to cover even basic skincare products I had forgotten. The warming eye mask was especially appreciated; I used it on my way back on the Shinkansen. The breakfast was satisfying considering the accommodation cost and current inflation rates. I particularly enjoyed the smoothies. The drink service allowed me to take coffee back to my room, which made it easy to relax while enjoying it at my own pace. One point of concern—not related to the hotel but rather other guests—was poor manners in the public bath area during my visit, which made me leave earlier than planned without being able to fully relax.

    Good.

    It was excellent. Access, welcome drink, front desk service, Room, breakfast - everything was satisfying. Especially the breakfast exceeded my expectations and was incredibly delicious. The only downside was the triangular fried tofu, which had seasoning that was too strong for my taste. I would love to stay again.

    Comfortable Hotel

    A spontaneous trip to Sendai. Overall, this is a convenient and good Hotel. It's very close to the station, making it easily accessible. However, you need to cross the main road via an overpass without a roof, so please be cautious on rainy days. There are some points I hope can be improved for an even better experience: 1) Public Bath: Despite having staff at the entrance, people kept entering continuously. When we entered, there was only one other guest inside; however, while using the faucets (karan), all five were occupied shortly after with additional people waiting—a chaotic situation. Even when wanting to leave the bath after soaking, no faucets were available. If staff at the entrance could provide some guidance or manage entry timing better, this might have been resolved. 2) Breakfast Buffet: We sat by the wall and noticed several black stains on it that caught our attention. The smoothie from the menu had too much ice and tasted diluted—this was disappointing. On a positive note, desserts like yogurt and pudding were very delicious! Other than these points, I think this is a wonderful Hotel overall! The staff members are incredibly pleasant and welcoming. I would love to stay here again when visiting Sendai in the future! Thank you very much!

    Service, employee training, and customer service level are the lowest at this Hotel.

    Stayed from 8/12 (Tue) for 2 nights. After the first night, requested cleaning, and spent the second night in bed until 10 PM. When I went to sleep around 10 PM and pulled back the comforter, I found a wet stain on the sheet and contacted the front desk. Despite my request to resolve this quickly so I could sleep, it took about 10 minutes for someone from the front desk to arrive. They then went to get a replacement sheet. Upon pointing out that even the mattress under the sheet was wet, they initially said it was fine but later confirmed discoloration due to moisture after fully checking it. They then went again to get a replacement mattress. Since I had been lying on top of the bed before noticing this issue with the sheets, I asked them to check if even inside of my comforter was dry as well. Again, they initially said it was fine but upon my own inspection found that it too was wet—prompting yet another trip by staff member fetch new bedding items repeatedly like this continued until just before11PM when finally everything resolved enough allowing me rest properly after waiting nearly an hour. Their lack thoroughness during checks combined reluctance address concerns proactively left impression insincerity unprofessionalism leading request refund second-night stay which unsurprisingly denied citing lack authority instead asking wait morning speak manager directly next day checkout process revealed hadn’t reported incident higher-ups either suggesting slow response culture within establishment itself despite promises follow-up calls voicemail left while traveling train unable answer phone now August16th still haven’t received further communication feels ignored altogether wondering unreasonable expecting proper apology explanation events unfolded behalf management team?

    I stayed at Monte Hermana Sendai for one night during my trip to Miyagi. The accommodation is directly connected to Sendai Station via a pedestrian deck, making it very convenient. I was highly satisfied with the welcome drink service and the large public bath. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including many local dishes, which enhanced the travel experience. While there are many hotels around the station, considering its cost performance, I would consider staying here again.

    A Hotel accessible by walking through the concourse from the station. Convenient for early morning highway bus users. The ladies' floor offered a variety of amenities that women would appreciate. The bath had entry control, so it wasn't overcrowded and was enjoyable to use. Breakfast had many options to choose from, and everything was delicious.

    The Japanese and Western-style breakfast is of high quality, featuring plenty of locally sourced ingredients, ensuring satisfaction. Although the pricing was quite high during the busy Obon season, the clean rooms, convenient access from the station, and on-site bathing Facility made it feel like a value beyond that of a typical Business Hotel. I would like to stay here again when visiting Sendai for business purposes.

It was a bit disappointing that the free drinks, such as orange juice and coffee near the front desk, were unavailable in the morning. Additionally, while the 11:00 AM checkout allows for a relaxed stay, it felt rushed since the public bath closes at 9:00 AM.

    2-night stay for a business trip

    The location is very convenient, being close to the station depending on your destination. The Room is good for a Business Hotel, and although compact, the public bath was decent. The meals (breakfast) were of generally high quality. I would like to stay here again.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    The spacious twin room provided a comfortable stay, especially with the bright and roomy bathroom. The front desk staff were kind, offering services like pajama replenishment and smartphone charger rentals. For breakfast, I had time to try a variety of dishes, from Tome rice to desserts. The locally sourced vegetables from Sendai and dishes supervised by the chef of Hotel Monterey Sendai were excellent. With two accommodations in Sendai—Monterey and Monterey Hermana—I usually stayed at Monterey, but this stay proved that Hermana is also a great choice.
