    Breakfast buffet

    The breakfast was described as a Kyushu-inspired meal, which felt fitting for Nishitetsu in Fukuoka. Since it cost 1,800 yen, I had high expectations. The white miso soup with potatoes and onions was very tasty, and the chicken meatball soup was also good. However, despite being in Fukuoka, the mentaiko seemed to be from a tube, which was disappointing. Also, everything except the soups was cold. With a Nakau right across the street, I regret not having breakfast there instead.

    It was comfortable.

    The self-check-in process was unfamiliar to me, but thank you for kindly guiding me through it. The Room was clean, and the bed was spacious and comfortable, allowing for a pleasant rest. Additionally, during check-out, I received clear directions to my desired destination. I would love to stay here again if given the opportunity.

    Not customer-oriented

    Stayed at a Business Hotel in Ginza to Ningyocho before spending the weekend at a luxury Hotel in Tokyo. Previously, I often used Dormy Inn Tokyo Hatchobori, Keio Presso Inn Kayabacho, and Sumisho Hotel. However, I found an affordable Plan and started using Nishitetsu Inn as well. A notice in the elevator mentioned that breakfast includes a daily changing hot pot dish, which I wanted to try! But since lunch the next day was planned at Apicius, I couldn't eat beforehand and had to resist. (I hope to try their breakfast someday when there's no big lunch planned.) At night when I went to brush my teeth, there was no toothbrush provided. Upon checking, it seemed they were available at the front desk—so I changed clothes and went down to get one. It would have been nice if this was mentioned during check-in. While taking the elevator for the toothbrush, another notice stated that there’s a welcome drink service from 2 PM–12 AM; however, this wasn’t explained during check-in either. Despite looking around briefly for it afterward, I couldn’t find where drinks were served—it felt like they were just doing it for show rather than genuinely offering hospitality! This left me feeling disappointed instead of welcomed.

    A convenient Hotel in Ningyocho, but...

    A traditional chain Hotel located in Ningyocho. At check-in, customers operate the self-check-in machine manually in front of multiple staff members at the counter. Considering that COVID-19 has long subsided, it is disappointing that such a service is still being implemented. Why are staff giving instructions to customers from behind the counter? Needs improvement.

    A Long-Established Hotel in Nihonbashi (Ningyocho)

    Great location in Ningyocho. Timeless basic services. The Room is extremely standard for a Hotel. Strong water pressure adds a bit of fun. A Hotel you can use casually depending on your needs.

    Clean and comfortable stay.

    I enjoy walking, so I walked from Tokyo Station, but it might be challenging if you have a suitcase. I also liked the atmosphere of Ningyocho. The building itself seemed old, but the front desk and rooms were renovated. The lockers at the front desk, business space, and plenty of outlets in the room made me think it’s a good hotel. The linens were clean and comfortable. Regarding noise in the room, when I turned on the heater to warm up, there was a sound like interior construction somewhere. Since I had read reviews beforehand, I turned off the heater at night (the futon was warm enough so it wasn’t an issue). It might be a problem that takes time to fix; if you end up with such a room, borrowing extra blankets or finding another solution might be best. Although it's facing the road, outside noise didn’t bother me!

    Convenient access

    The front desk staff were kind. The Room was cleaned, but there were scuff marks on the walls (likely from previous guests) and a scent reminiscent of old kimono mothballs. However, I was happy that the Room had windows that could be opened, so I ventilated it for a few hours. It was also nice to be able to open the windows in the morning.

    The smoking room had...

    The smoking room had minimal odor, was equipped with an air purifier, and was clean, making for a comfortable stay. However, the hallway smelled of tobacco. I tried the breakfast expecting "Hakata cuisine," but the taste was average. The front desk staff always greeted me warmly upon arrival and departure, which made my stay pleasant. The window seal was slightly loose, allowing some draft to come in and making it a bit chilly. Overall, I was satisfied and would consider staying again.

    Unfortunately, it was a smelly room.

    Close to the station with many convenience stores nearby, making it a great location. The compact Room was well-equipped with essentials, and the bedding and towels appeared clean. I appreciated the affordable price, so I thought I should tolerate early morning noises near the private room. However, the bathroom had a very strong unpleasant odor like sewage or mold, which was quite uncomfortable. The "drinkable" water remained undrinkable even after boiling due to its bad taste.

    There is no JR station nearby, but

    Located in the heart of Tokyo. Convenient access to various destinations with three subway lines intersecting nearby. Affordable accommodation rates. I have stayed here multiple times when visiting Tokyo. It would be great if I could enjoy Hakata's specialty, sardine mentaiko... ( ´艸｀)

    I had a pleasant stay.

    Luggage storage before check-in was self-service, but the staff kindly explained the process, so I had no trouble storing my belongings. Check-in and check-out were also done via automated machines, but the front desk staff assisted me during these times, making it easy to complete. This time, my stay was just for sleeping at night, but I hope to stay longer and enjoy more next time. Thank you very much!

    Clean and smoke-free rooms for a satisfying stay.

    I booked through IKYU.com at a great price. It was a non-smoking room, and there was absolutely no smell of tobacco. The room was thoroughly cleaned, with no noise disturbances, allowing for a comfortable stay. However, hallway noises were somewhat audible, so it might have been quieter due to the presence of mostly business guests during my stay. While the location of this Hotel may be slightly less convenient compared to other hotels in Tokyo, I would definitely consider staying here again at IKYU.com's pricing. One point to note is that check-in via the automated machine took some effort. Although hotel staff assisted from behind the counter, it felt slightly inefficient. Additionally, depending on the season, rooms can get quite dry and may bother some guests. Overall, considering IKYU.com's pricing specifically, this is an excellent Business Hotel for its value.

    Convenient access from Haneda. Relaxed atmosphere and comfortable stay.

    A few minutes' walk from Ningyocho Station with no transfers from Haneda. About a 20-minute walk from Tokyo Station's Yaesu underground area, or less than 10 minutes by taxi to the Marunouchi side (on early Saturday mornings). The cold tea in the lobby was much appreciated during the intense heat. I drank two cups in one go and took a cup of coffee back to my Room. It seems primarily used by business travelers. Unfortunately, there were no amenities for women and no information about free shuttle buses like Metrolink or community buses available for 100 yen (or I couldn't find it). However, the building was quiet and comfortable without loud voices being heard inside. The calm atmosphere matched well with the surrounding environment, which was very pleasant.

    It was great.

    This was my first stay at this accommodation. I chose it based on the reviews and evaluation points while searching for a hotel in Tokyo. It was just as the reviews described, and overall, it was great. The access is convenient, and it's just over a 15-minute walk to Tokyo Station. The room was clean, quiet, and allowed me to relax and sleep comfortably. I will definitely stay here again next time. If I may add one suggestion, having bath salts would make it perfect!

    When I inquired about the fees for early check-in and late check-out the day before, I was told that both cost 2,000 yen per hour for a single Room. The previous day, I stayed at another Business Hotel chain where it was stated that the usual 10:00 AM check-out could be extended to 12:00 PM for an additional 1,000 yen. Therefore, I felt that 2,000 yen per hour was expensive and decided not to request it. Instead, I arrived at the Hotel around 2:30 PM on the day of my stay. When I saw other guests heading to their Rooms after checking in, I asked if it would be possible to enter my Room early. They said if cleaning was finished, it would be allowed. As a result, they let me into my Room slightly before the official check-in time. However, even though this guarantees availability in advance, charging 2,000 yen per hour seemed too high. The next morning during breakfast service—which they mentioned tends to get crowded—it seemed less busy after 8:00 AM as suggested by staff earlier when asked about food replenishment timing; they assured me items would still be restocked past then so around eight o'clock upon arriving inside dining area entrance stood one woman who neither greeted nor explained what should happen regarding meal tickets leaving confusion until finally saying "I’ll take your ticket." This lackluster customer service training left much desired improvement-wise overall experience-wise disappointing especially considering limited drink bar options compared against family restaurant standards lacking fresh juice varieties like pure orange/apple instead offering brands such as Natchan while bread selection consisted solely three types (white loaf croissant spinach-flavored) wherein latter ran out entirely without replacement despite claims otherwise meanwhile signage misaligned mismatched between labels actual placement further compounding disorganization issues observed throughout venue operations altogether unimpressive particularly given upcoming price increase April onwards raising cost breakfast buffet alone up-to ¥1800 making alternative nearby convenience store purchases pre-packed meals prior evening preferable route avoiding unnecessary expense altogether since refrigerators provided albeit inconveniently designed opening direction obstructed wall access hindering usability functionality detracting user-friendliness aspect accommodations provided therein alongside mismatched furniture dimensions desk chair setup poorly thought-out spatial arrangement suggesting minimal consideration renovation planning execution stages ultimately reflecting negatively guest satisfaction perspective overall impression formed post-stay evaluation contextually speaking

    I was pleasantly sur...

    I was pleasantly surprised by how close it was to Koami Shrine. However, the unit bath was small and had an unpleasant smell, which was disappointing. As someone who values a good bathing experience, I would be thrilled if the showerhead could be upgraded to something like ReFa or Mirable. The breakfast staff seemed to be working with a limited team and focused on their duties, but when I entered the dining area and started serving myself after not seeing anyone for a while, I was abruptly asked for my breakfast ticket in an intimidating manner. While picking up food with tongs at that moment, I quickly let go of them only to have them silently returned to their place without a word. A simple "Good morning" or "Please enjoy your meal" with a smile—even behind a mask—could make mornings feel much more pleasant. During my meal, staff frequently wiped down unused tables nearby, making me feel rushed as though they wanted me to leave quickly. This left me feeling disappointed despite how delicious the breakfast featuring Kyushu specialties was. Also, it was my first time seeing signage like "Pouring curry before serving rice may cause splashes and inconvenience others."

    Thank you for your kind and courteous support.

    Although I mistakenly made a Reservation for smoking/non-smoking due to my error, the staff kindly and courteously assisted me, allowing me to have a comfortable stay. The Room and nearby facilities (a tempura restaurant and convenience store within walking distance) were convenient. Thank you for providing a pleasant Accommodation experience.

    Regarding Construction Noise

    Due to exterior wall repair work, there will be noise from March 17 to July 5 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Unfortunately, this information was only communicated at check-in on the reservation day. The construction noise was extremely loud, making it impossible to relax. When I inquired about it, there was no response at all, and ultimately no action was taken. For those planning to leave early in the morning, this might not be a significant issue; however, for anyone looking for a relaxing stay like myself, it would be quite difficult. It’s disappointing considering some guests may want a peaceful experience.

    Overall satisfied.

    The service was generally pleasant, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The lobby had a drink bar for guests, and it was nice to be able to use the provided paper cups. On the other hand, there were multiple strands of hair stuck on the bathroom wall in the room, which gave it a slightly unsettling appearance. While this might be a minor oversight, it did leave me wishing it hadn't been there.

    When I tried to change to a cheaper Plan in advance, they responded politely and appropriately despite being busy. It was unfortunate that I couldn't stay longer, but it was a comfortable Hotel.

    A comfortable Hotel close to Tokyo Station.

    The exterior of the Hotel appears a bit aged, but the interior has been renovated, providing a very comfortable stay. Located in the historic area of Ningyocho, with easy access to Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, the location is excellent. If the weather is good, it's possible to walk from Tokyo Station in just over 15 minutes. There are many long-established shops near the Hotel, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of old Tokyo and Edo in Nihonbashi and Ningyocho. With the Asakusa Line providing access from the airport and the Hibiya Line offering connections to Azabudai Hills, Roppongi Hills, and Toranomon Hills, you can also enjoy the new Tokyo. A conveniently located Hotel, perfect as a base in Tokyo.

    Sincere response

    There was a problem with the TV not working, but they offered to change the Room. When I declined, they offered breakfast, and when I declined again, they gave me a breakfast voucher for future use. Above all, the apology was sincere, and at checkout, another staff member also apologized, showing good communication. I would like to use this service again.

    The toilet smells bad.

    The toilet cleaning was not done up to the floor, and it smelled very bad. I didn't even feel like taking a bath. Since it is a room priced accordingly, I accept the small size of the room, but everything was ruined by the toilet. If part of the cleaning is not done, it feels like nothing is done, so I spent my time without touching any of the room amenities. Even if it's old and small, my feelings change depending on the cleaning. The breakfast was good as they were having a Kyushu fair.

    Conveniently located near Ginza Line, Hanzomon Line, Hibiya Line, and Asakusa Line stations. Convenience stores are also nearby. The low price is appreciated. Although the overall condition is old, it's fine if you just need a place to sleep. Recommended for those who want to stay cheaply.

    When I entered the room, the smell of perfume was strong, so I sprayed deodorant and went out for a meal. When I returned to the room, the smell hadn't disappeared, so I was given a different room. Thank you for kindly preparing an alternative room, even though I didn't request it immediately upon entering. The room is clean and comfortable to stay in. I was secretly pleased to see a glimpse of the Skytree. Thank you for your hospitality.

    It was much cleaner and more comfortable than the impression from the photos. It is conveniently located near the station with several convenience stores around, and the area around the Hotel has a calm atmosphere. Although it is a self check-in and check-out system, there were staff nearby, so I could use it with peace of mind.
