    The location is hard to find...

    From Kure Station, head south toward the Yamato Museum. There is an overpass, and if you continue straight you will end up on the second floor of a shopping mall, but along the way you will see Toyoko Inn and a Toyota dealership on your left. Just before them, there is an elevator—take it down to the first floor. After getting off, walk to the right with the Toyota dealership on your right-hand side, and you will see the Hotel nestled between apartment buildings.

    The front desk staff...

    The front desk staff were cheerful and very helpful. The Room and Facility were simple but clean, which was great. Breakfast was free, and the quality for a complimentary meal was truly appreciated. The location was also excellent, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby—perfect for sightseeing in Kure. Since the parking lot has limited spaces, if you can’t check in early you may need to find parking in advance, but even so we had a great stay. Thank you very much.

    The location and value for money were excellent, and it was a very satisfying Accommodation.

    It’s very conveniently located close to the Yamato Museum and the Iron Whale Museum, so I was able to make great use of my time. The bed was comfortable enough for a great night’s sleep, and the nutritious meals (I was especially impressed by the okonomiyaki and mackerel flakes) offered excellent value for money. I’ll definitely be a repeat guest. I’ll also be stopping by regularly to stock up on Subaru Coffee and sake (Senpuku). Thank you very much.

    A compact and comfortable Hotel with no waste.

    The beds are spacious, while the bathroom and room are compact but clean and efficient. To further reduce waste, providing toothbrush amenities only to those who need them might be a good idea. The breakfast offers a variety of Japanese and Western options, which was satisfying. The price is also reasonable.

    I always choose this accommodation in Kure.

    I visit my parents' grave in Kure during the Obon season and always stay at this Hotel. It is clean, very quiet, and allows me to relax. This time was no exception, and I had a comfortable stay. What impresses me the most is how the front desk staff always greet me with "Have a good day" when I leave and "Welcome back" when I return, even late at night. It's heartwarming to see someone at the front desk no matter how late it gets. I'm not sure when my next visit will be, but I look forward to staying here again.

    A conveniently located Hotel near the station.

    As a Business Hotel, it meets a certain standard. The breakfast is as reputed and quite fulfilling. I have never experienced such an extensive buffet offering at a Business Hotel before, making it highly recommendable in that regard. However, my stay was marred by an issue that might have been specific to the day I stayed. It was an unusually warm day for winter, with temperatures exceeding 20 degrees Celsius during the day, giving the city an almost early summer-like atmosphere. Most people were not wearing coats; some businessmen were even seen in just dress shirts. That evening, after taking a bath and feeling very hot, I tried to cool down the Room using the air conditioner provided but found that it did not switch to cooling mode. Thinking this must be some mistake, I decided to open the window as a last resort to cool down the Room. However, despite instructions on how to open it being clearly written on the window frame (pressing a button), there was no knob available for opening it. Gradually feeling suffocated due to rising Room temperature in this enclosed space, I called Reception for assistance. They informed me that all air conditioning functions are centrally controlled and only heating is available at this time of year. When I mentioned that I couldn’t open my window either—Reception confirmed: "That particular Room’s windows cannot be opened." When asked what could be done instead—they offered me use of an electric fan—but fans merely circulate warm air while their motors generate additional heat themselves! Left with no other choice—I propped open my door temporarily allowing cooler hallway air into my accommodation space… No explanation regarding why windows remain sealed shut was given—but judging from nearby residential buildings likely overlooking these premises—it seems plausible privacy concerns led management toward permanently disabling them altogether (frosted glass further obscures any external view). This inability controlling personal environment left unsettling impression bordering fearfulness throughout experience overall! If future stays ensure better temperature regulation options alongside friendlier front desk service interactions—I’d consider returning again someday!

    It was very close to the "Yamato Museum".

    I heard that the "Yamato Museum" will be closed for a year from February 17th for renovations, so I invited my mother to stay overnight in Kure. Initially, I was supposed to reserve a hotel adjacent to the station, but it was fully booked, so we stayed here instead. It turned out to be a great decision. The hotel is conveniently located on the port side, and there is a covered walkway from the station, which was very helpful. The hotel staff were very warm and welcoming (from the front desk to the cleaning staff), so even though it was a cold day with light snow, thanks to the staff, our hearts were warm, and we had a comfortable stay. I didn't have high expectations for breakfast (sorry), but it was really delicious. There were two types of smoothies, and I particularly liked the yuzu and mandarin smoothie. They even provided Hiroshima's specialty "Gansu," which was delightful. Before and after check-in, they kindly said, "You are welcome to use it," so I was grateful to be able to enjoy tea slowly with my elderly mother who has difficulty walking. For this price, the room was spacious, and the breakfast was plentiful, making it a happy start to the day. My mother's (81 years old) father's younger brother went on a sortie on the battleship Yamato at the age of 20 and died in battle on April 7, 1945, 80 years ago. We were able to start the first day of our journey to pay respects to my uncle on a positive note. Thank you once again. When we left our luggage before check-in, we received a luggage tag. When retrieving the luggage, we couldn't find it, and even then, the staff kindly said, "It's okay if you find it later." As a result, after check-out, we found out that my mother had it. We sent it by express mail the next day. (I hope it has arrived.) We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Next time we visit, we are considering staying at your hotel again. Thank you in advance.
