    Getting breakfast in...

    Getting breakfast included at this price was excellent. The front desk staff told us about the highlights of Niigata Prefecture, which made our trip very satisfying. Aside from the parking lot being too small and sometimes not having space, everything else deserves high marks.

    A very good Hotel

    Of the five Accommodations I stayed at on this trip, this one was the cheapest yet the best. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the Room had a calm atmosphere. Breakfast was included as a complimentary service, and everything—from chikuzen-ni to miso soup—was hearty and delicious. In any case, they had everything you could need, and I could really feel the owner’s hospitality. Thank you very much.

    It was good overall.

    It was a great plus that the air conditioning stayed on even when I left the Room. (I appreciated that removing the room key did not turn off the air conditioning.) Even for a Business Hotel, the cleaning was thorough, and there was no dust at all on the bathroom exhaust fan—excellent. Please keep up this consistently outstanding level of cleaning. Breakfast was a complimentary service, but it was very satisfying—I was pleasantly surprised. I also appreciated that it included Niigata specialties.

    The breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed two types of daily smoothies, and both were delicious. Considering the price during the time sale, I am very satisfied. However, I believe there were no amenities for women, so you may need to bring items like makeup remover and lotion.

    It was a very beauti...

    It was a very beautiful hotel. I felt that the cleaning was thorough. What I liked the most was the strong airflow of the hairdryer in the guest room. If I visit Niigata again, I would like to stay here.

    Wi-Fi not available.

    I stayed at Comfort Hotels in Nara and Niigata, but in both locations, I was unable to use Wi-Fi as it displayed "Unable to connect to the internet." In Nara, when I checked with the front desk, they responded that "many people are using it, making it difficult to connect," but this seemed like a standard response without any investigation. Later, after 10 PM, I received a call from the front desk saying that a Room with working Wi-Fi was ready; however, by then I was already in bed and could not move. In Niigata, I didn’t even bother mentioning it as it felt pointless. Everywhere else—whether at home or other Hotels or Ryokans—I can connect without issues. This suggests there may be a Facility issue specific to Comfort Hotels. Please conduct a thorough inspection. Neither my iPhone nor iPad nor PC could connect. Additionally, in Niigata during breakfast, I requested disposable chopsticks but was told there were none available. When I mentioned that another Comfort Hotel had them before, they explained these were for bento boxes and not provided regularly—but eventually brought some out anyway. Both the Wi-Fi issue and this incident suggest staff training might be inadequate. Please urgently review your Wi-Fi environment—it’s impossible to work under these conditions!

    Enjoy our complimentary breakfast!

    【Positive Points】 I was informed that breakfast was free, but I didn't expect it to be offered in a buffet style. The quality was excellent, and it was very delicious. Just a suggestion, but perhaps charging around 700–800 yen would still be reasonable? 【A Bit Disappointing Points】 The water pressure in the shower was low, even when the faucet was fully turned on; it felt like just a gentle touch on the skin. (The Room I stayed in was on the 3rd floor.)

    Comfortable Stay

    I stayed in a single Room, and the desk was large, making it great for work. The bed was also spacious. It was a bit disappointing that the bathroom was small. There was a welcome drink, and the breakfast venue could be used freely during lunch and dinner hours, which I found very convenient. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was delicious and highly satisfying. It might have been coincidental, but when I went for breakfast at 7:00 AM, most of the guests were international visitors. The next day at 7:30 AM, there were mostly Japanese guests. I plan to stay here again when visiting Niigata!

    Front Desk Service

    During my previous stay at the same chain of Hotels, check-in was not done via a machine, so I felt a bit confused this time with the machine check-in process. However, the front desk staff was very kind and helpful, which made me happy. If I had to say, I still prefer human interaction.

    Reasonable rates and cleanliness

    Checked in, went out immediately, and returned at night for a one-night stay, so it was helpful that the rate was reasonable. Room cleanliness was good. The pillow was at my preferred height, allowing for a good night's sleep. I left the bathroom door open for air conditioning, so the noise was slightly noticeable but not a problem. Breakfast was prepared in sufficient quantity, pleasantly exceeding expectations and was delicious. Overall, I felt it offered great value for the price.

    You get what you pay for.

    I chose this place based on price since I only needed a place to sleep. Therefore, there are no particularly good or bad points; it is as expected for the price. However, the walls seem thin, as I could hear quite a bit of noise from next door, so I was careful when talking on my phone.

    It is a good Hotel.

    Close to Niigata Station, the stable service is good. Please do not use the excuse "because it's a service, this level is acceptable" for the breakfast service. That is the drawback.
