It was necessary, sufficient, and comfortable.

We stayed here during a family visit. The single room was spacious enough and functional. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

    Wi-Fi Available

Every time I stay, I make a request, but there has been no response from Comfort Hotel. Is there any point in posting? My request was about the Wi-Fi environment. It connects on smartphones but does not work on iPads at any Comfort Hotel. Please improve this issue. Also, isn't the staff's level quite low? Are they operating with the mindset of "It's a budget hotel, so this is good enough"? Even if it's inexpensive, is it too much to expect some thoughtfulness as a hotel? A hotel should value both its facilities and hospitality; differentiation lies in hospitality. I hope for improvements in accommodating customer needs and operational aspects of the hotel.

The service was satisfactory, but the white lighting was not quite to my liking.

The bed was slightly spacious, the cleaning was thorough, and services like free breakfast and complimentary welcome drinks were excellent. However, I prefer warm-colored lighting, so the daylight-colored lights felt less relaxing for me (I don't think there were options for dimming or changing the color). Recently, many business hotels seem to attract a lot of tourists including foreigners, but this hotel seemed to have more business-oriented guests (I often passed by guests carrying laundry), which might explain the work-mode lighting. That said, considering its affordable price and convenient location near the station, I was overall quite satisfied.

    Very unfortunate.

For this trip, which I have been continuing since my retirement as a solo journey by private car, I used your accommodation as the final stay while traveling from Hokkaido through Sanriku. On the day of arrival, it was raining, and having traveled from Hokkaido, I arrived in the evening. Due to the rain, I hurriedly entered the hotel entrance from the parking lot. At the front desk area, there were several women interacting with two staff members inside and one outside of the front desk while looking at an automated check-in machine and monitor. During this time, there was no greeting such as "Welcome," and I was left unattended for several minutes. After a while, a staff member outside of the front desk said to me without any welcoming words like "Welcome" or "Thank you for waiting," simply stating that "The automated check-in machine is busy; please wait." This was an unprecedented response for me. According to your official website: "Guests are requested to use self-check-in/out machines to complete their own check-in/check-out procedures. *Please proceed with check-in at a staffed counter in cases such as: - When using parking (details omitted)" Naturally, one would expect that check-ins would be handled at a staffed counter under these circumstances. However, all guests were required to use automated machines while interacting with multiple staff members during this process. Wasn't this system introduced for faster procedures? If this is indeed your standard procedure at your accommodation facility now, then instead of stating "...guests can complete their own procedures," please revise it immediately on your official website to say: "All guests are required to use self-check-in machines." What about elderly people like myself or those unfamiliar with PCs or smartphones? Will you continue leaving people waiting without addressing them even if it takes time? As my final stay on this journey's itinerary—this experience was very disappointing.

    It was beautiful.

The staff was polite and made my stay pleasant. It was unfortunate that the women's amenities were not well-stocked, but the breakfast was delicious, and I had a comfortable stay.

    It was simple and nice.

It was a Business Hotel, conveniently located near the station. The Room was clean, and the free breakfast was delicious. I would like to use it again.

The cold air from the window hits the bed directly.

The staff at the lobby were pleasant. The room cleaning was thorough. The breakfast was not abundant in variety, but it was delicious. I was also pleased with the coffee in the lobby, which was available all day. We stayed in a room with one double bed for two people. The bed was spacious enough for two people to sleep comfortably. However, the cold air from the window hit directly from under the curtain onto the bed, which was placed right under the window. The cold air in Aomori in December is no joke. It felt like sleeping in front of a slightly open door of a giant freezer. We raised the room temperature so much that the person sleeping on the side away from the window was sweating, but I, sleeping on the window side, couldn't sleep because of the cold. I moved to the middle of the bed, and the other person moved to the edge almost falling off, but the cold air seeped through the top of the blanket. (Only half of the wide bed could be used at this stage) In the end, I couldn't sleep a wink all night, and the next day, the side of my body exposed to the cold air from the window was in pain. If only the bed had been a little away from the window, and the curtain had been long enough to reach the bottom of the bed, the direct hit of the cold air could have been avoided. I thought it was a very cost-effective hotel, but at least in winter, I can never use it again.

    Refrigerator malfunction

I turned on the refrigerator and put in some sparkling water, but when I took it out at night, it was still at room temperature because the power was off! I immediately called the front desk to have them turn it on, and the staff mentioned, "There are quite a few guests who play pranks like this." If that's the case, shouldn't it be standardized to check the power during cleaning? I thought, and set the temperature memory to 3 out of 7 and put the sparkling water back in, only to find it frozen solid in the morning. It is possible that a guest, frustrated with a malfunctioning refrigerator, unplugged it (the hotel's tendency to blame guests is questionable). The refrigerator was replaced that day, but it turned into a Multiple Night Stay where I was burdened with the hassle and time due to something as trivial as a refrigerator.
