  Use after boarding the ferry

  We stayed here after taking the ferry from Tsuruga. There didn’t seem to be any good business hotels near Tomakomai Higashi Port, so we ended up heading back to Tomakomai (we were on our way to a trip in eastern Hokkaido). We thought it would take quite a while, but we were impressed by the straight country roads with no traffic lights. The spacious parking lot was free as well—truly Hokkaido. Even though it was late at night, the friendly smiles from the front desk staff helped ease our travel fatigue. Thank you very much.
