    The lobby is spacious, but the Room is designed like a Business Hotel. There is a large public bath where you can relax and recover from your travels, so the in-room unit bath is not an issue.

    I’m always satisfied with the convenient location and the service.

    Located on Nishinotoin Street, getting around the city by bus was smooth and easy. It’s especially recommended for enjoying the Gion Festival, as the evening Yoiyama events and the Yamaboko Junko parade route are both nearby. They also kindly helped with questions about the Gion Festival, which was very reassuring. In Kyoto’s intense summer heat, this Hotel felt like the best choice for enjoying your stay comfortably while reducing physical strain.

    I relaxed and felt refreshed in the large public bath.

    Just before boarding the return Shinkansen from Kyoto Station, service was suspended due to an accident at Hamamatsu Station. With no indication of when operations would resume, I waited inside the station for over an hour, but eventually gave up and decided to stay one more night in Kyoto. This was my first time staying at this Hotel, and I chose it because it has a large public bath. Being able to stay here truly helped me out. The bath was spacious and clean, and I was able to relax my tired body at ease.

    Following our stay last June, we stayed with you again from February 28 to March 2.

    Convenient bus access from Shijo-Karasuma made it easy to get to temples and restaurants, which was a big help even with limited mobility. The front desk staff were cheerful and welcoming. I will stay here again when I visit Kyoto. Thank you.

    Highly satisfied.

    The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, and everything was delicious. Both the Room and the large public bath were very clean, allowing me to relax comfortably. I’m fine with the eco-cleaning policy of towel replacement and trash collection only, but I would appreciate it if Room wear could also be exchanged, even for a fee. It’s fine in winter, but as the weather gets warmer I inevitably sweat at night, so I hope you will consider this.

    The Hotel is a bit far from Shijo Station, so moving with large luggage was somewhat challenging. The public bath is convenient as it eliminates the need to wait for a shower at night after returning to the Room. However, since the entrance to the bath is near the front desk and I didn’t have suitable clothing for that purpose, I felt hesitant to walk around in the provided sleepwear and decided not to use it. On second thought, this setup might be more secure. Bringing a simple casual dress or loungewear would have been better. The Room itself was fine, but hearing conversations from the hallway made it hard to relax. On my way back, I had my luggage sent ahead to their affiliated Hotel near Kyoto Station. Since I tend to arrive early before my train departure due to concerns about timing, finding no seating or uncrowded restaurants in the station can be inconvenient. However, when discussing what we should do next, we were informed that delivery service users could use an underground lounge for about 30 minutes—this was incredibly helpful! Thank you very much. In addition, staff members at the lobby were quick and attentive with their assistance; everything went smoothly. If given another opportunity, I would definitely stay here again!

    Neither good nor bad.

    Check-in was set for an earlier time, and I received a call when I was late. Although it was 1 AM, a young female staff member assisted me with the process, albeit somewhat reluctantly. I felt sorry for arriving so late at night. I did not use the Onsen, but the Hotel's facilities were new and clean. The majority of guests appeared to be foreigners (around 80-90%). The breakfast buffet had a limited variety; it wasn’t bad but also not particularly outstanding. During check-out, there were many staff members assisting guests along with automated machines, and they sent me off with smiles. Since it was the start of Golden Week (GW), prices were higher than usual. This was my first stay at this Hotel, and while it wasn’t unpleasant, I’m unsure if I would choose to stay again in the future. However, its location is very convenient as it's close to subway stations and entertainment districts.

    It was comfortable.

    The atmosphere in the public bath was unusual due to the large number of foreign guests, but this seems inevitable given Japan's current reliance on inbound tourism. For a business hotel in this price range, the Room was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice if amenities like lotion were available at the lobby's amenity corner.

    I was looking forward to the breakfast after reading reviews about how delicious it is. When I actually stayed, there was a variety of Japanese and Western options, as well as noodles and curry, making it impossible to try everything in just a two-night stay. The simmered dishes had a refined Kyoto-style taste, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The room is compact and functional. Since many people may opt for multiple night stays in Kyoto, having drawers for clothing storage would be even better.

    From the entrance.

    The entrance was lovely, with a charming Kyoto-style atmosphere and a serene Japanese garden. The spaciousness was soothing from the moment we arrived. The front staff provided kind and attentive service, fulfilling our room preferences, which gave us peace of mind. The area in front of the large public bath felt like a festival square, creating an enjoyable mood. The much-anticipated large public bath had a clean design and was very pleasant. The overall color scheme, chair materials, and showers were excellent as well. Breakfast was delicious too. I would love to stay again! At checkout, I mentioned that some guests from China entered the bath without washing their bodies first or squeezed towels into the water—this made me uncomfortable. They were also overly talkative, so I had to address it myself. Because of this experience, I decided not to use the bath in the morning before leaving. I understand that printed guidelines are handed out at check-in for foreign guests; however, they seemed lengthy with small text and might not be effective in conveying important points clearly. Simple rules such as: - Wash your body before entering the bath - Tie up your hair - Keep conversations quiet - Do not put towels into the water would suffice.     Solo trip for an elderly woman

    I think it was a suitable Hotel for a 3-night, 4-day solo trip. The lobby was spacious, with a space where you could sit on a chair and relax while looking at the garden, and I was welcomed pleasantly. The Room was in a location surrounded by buildings, so it couldn't be helped, but when I opened the curtains, I was a little disappointed to see the wall of the neighboring building (apartment) up close. However, since most people are out during the day and only want to open the curtains in the morning, it wasn't much of an issue. The Room's facilities and cleanliness were good. For a 3-night stay, they took out the trash and exchanged towels upon request, and they also replenished tea and water, which was helpful. The large public bath was clean, and I had a pleasant time looking at the garden.
