    Very satisfied

    Outstanding service from the very start Not only at the front desk, but also in the lounge and breakfast venue, everyone provided exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. The Facility is clean, well maintained, and stylish down to the smallest details. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy a truly satisfying and happy stay at the Hotel.

    Lounge, Breakfast, and Amenities

    I had a very comfortable stay for three days, but I think having herbal tea in the lounge would help guests relax before bedtime. The breakfast tableware is lovely, but it feels too heavy for children’s hands; during my stay alone, I saw it dropped and broken twice, so I wondered if children’s tableware might be needed. For amenities, it would be nice to have body lotion and skin cream.

    We had a very comfortable stay!

    I believe it was the first day after the grand opening, and everyone at the Hotel provided wonderfully welcoming service—we are truly grateful. The meals featured plenty of Okayama specialties, and we enjoyed dining throughout. The Room and the large public bath were also clean and refined, making for a delightful stay. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches for our anniversary—it was an excellent Hotel. We would love to visit again!

    But it's Mitsui Garden Hotel...

    I have stayed at several Mitsui Garden Hotels, but unfortunately, my experience in Okayama was disappointing. The proximity to the station was very convenient, but I felt that the facilities and amenities were not worth the price. While it was clean, the room was small. I chose this hotel because it has a large public bath; however, the bath area was cramped. Even after checking the congestion status via information before heading there, all washing stations were occupied. It did not provide a relaxing experience to ease travel fatigue. Breakfast costs nearly 2,000 yen, so I opted out this time. However, with an Aeon mall and McDonald's inside the station just about 3 minutes away on foot, those options seemed sufficient instead.

    Stay here!

    I stayed for my son's university festival and sightseeing. After checking out, I realized my daughter had left her jacket in the room. When I went to retrieve it, the Hotel staff kindly went to the room to get it for me and handed it over neatly arranged. I was deeply touched by their thoughtfulness. I would love to stay here again. Thank you so much!

    Disappointing bath

    I used the breakfast-included Plan for sightseeing in Kurashiki. The breakfast and Room were good for the reasonable price. I used the large public bath, but I felt disappointed due to poor manners of some visiting guests. It would be appreciated if this could be better communicated. The self-service coffee on the first floor was a nice touch.

    About the Bath

    Stayed with three friends. The room seemed like a spacious twin, but it was cramped with the beds taking up most of the space. There was no room to open suitcases, so we organized everything on the beds. That aside... ① The common areas were extremely cold! It’s impossible to stay in short sleeves. This includes the lobby, restaurant, and even the dressing area of the bath. Is this for guests who are used to colder temperatures? ② While it's great that the bath is available almost 24 hours, visiting early in the morning revealed it left messy from the night before. There’s no place to put used towels, so some guests leave them scattered everywhere. Even sinks were left dirty—couldn’t staff check and tidy up occasionally? ③ The breakfast bread was very delicious! However, I couldn’t eat the dashi tea over rice as it was too salty. The location is convenient and prices are reasonable; not enough issues to complain about everything... but I do wish they kept the bath area clean!

    Bathroom Management

    A conveniently located Hotel near the station. Smoking Rooms are available, and the breakfast is delicious, making it an overall commendable Hotel. However, one concern was the management of the public bath. When used early in the morning, it was not well-organized, and my wife mentioned she ended up cleaning it herself as she couldn't overlook the condition.

    Public bath available

    The TV in the Room showed that the public bath was not crowded, so I headed there. However, there were 4 people waiting for locker availability, and after undressing, 5 people were lined up waiting for showers inside the bath area. There were also 8 people in the changing room, making it rather crowded. I didn’t feel comfortable waiting while undressed, so I ended up using the small bathtub in my Room instead. It’s unclear what criteria are used to announce that it’s not crowded. Come to think of it, this happened last time as well. Other than this issue (including location), everything else is fine, but I would appreciate some improvements regarding this matter.

    That's unfortunate.

    I reserved a non-smoking room, but there was a smell of cigarettes coming from the curtains. I wanted to change the room, but I didn't have time, so I stayed as it was.

    Smoking Room

    I couldn't reserve a non-smoking room as it was fully booked, so I stayed in a smoking room. However, with the air purifier provided, the smell didn't bother me much, and I had a comfortable stay. Thank you. The bath was spacious, and it was convenient to check its availability from the room. The front desk staff were kind and pleasant. If I may suggest one thing, it would have been nice if I could take coffee from the dining area to my room.

    I stayed here on short notice. Despite some concerns about the weather, it was a reliable hotel. The staff's service was dependable, and although I ended up purchasing breakfast at Okayama Station, I found warm options available. The bed was comfortable, allowing for better sleep than expected. The desk was also convenient, making work more efficient. I would like to stay here again.

    Conveniently located near the station, the large public bath is pleasant.

    Close to Hiroshima Station and very convenient. The front staff were responsive, and I was able to smoothly store my luggage and check in using the machine. Perhaps because I was upgraded, the Room was spacious and comfortable. The large public bath on the top floor had a great view, was spacious, and felt wonderful. Breakfast was mainly Japanese cuisine, which was plentiful and delicious, but the Western breakfast had limited options, and my wife rated it as mediocre.

    The air conditioning doesn't work, the breakfast is cold, and the shower water pressure is insufficient. It's a pity.

    The rooms and facilities are clean, the staff's response is good, and the check-in and check-out process using machines is quick, which are the positive points. For future improvements, I would like to mention a few drawbacks. - The air conditioning was not effective, and it was cold. - The low-resilience mattress on the bed was cold. (It would be helpful if blankets were provided) - The breakfast items, such as fried chicken and grilled fish, were cold. (I would have preferred them to be placed on a warm plate) - The shower water pressure was low, making it take time to rinse off, and it was cold. - When closing the closet, it made a loud popping sound, which was concerning. I felt that if these issues were resolved, I would want to stay again.

    Cannot freely adjust the air conditioning.

    There were hairs and what seemed to be coffee? droplets left in the washroom, which was unclean. (Probably forgotten during cleaning) The room itself was fine, but the air conditioning is centrally controlled and cannot be set individually for each room, which is inconvenient.

    Hot spring

    The temperature of the hot spring was soothingly warm, allowing for a relaxing experience, but the cleaning of the changing room couldn't keep up, with hair scattered around. I was also surprised by the poor manners of some guests using the facility.

    Disappointing

    The hotels that can be booked through Ikkyu are generally high-grade and often good, but perhaps because it was in a rural area, even though I trusted it because it was a Mitsui, the large public bath was full of foreigners who didn't dry off, leaving it all wet. The bath was also in such a terrible state that I felt uncomfortable and returned immediately. There were no amenities in the room, and you had to take them from downstairs. It was noisy, and I couldn't sleep at all... I trusted Ikkyu, but... I never want to stay there again.

    The bath is always crowded.

    Even though I checked the availability on the website before going, the women's bath was always crowded, and there was a long line waiting for the showers. Waiting in line while being naked was uncomfortable. At its worst, there was even a line waiting for lockers. I would like to request some measures, such as limiting the number of entrants.
