    Just one thing.

    The combined toilet and bathroom had a strong ammonia smell, which was the only unpleasant part.\nOtherwise, everything was standard with no complaints, and I slept well.

    Returning Guest: Still Comfortable

    I stayed here on the first night of my 3-night trip and liked it so much that I returned for the third night. It was truly wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality. The Room on the third night was different from the first, but both Rooms were clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

    Very cozy!

    Stayed as a family of four. Truly close to the station—just one minute from Hachijo Exit with only one traffic light to cross. The north side may be near the station too, but crossing the bus rotary can be a hassle, so Hachijo Exit is far more convenient. The front desk staff were calm yet efficient, ensuring no waiting time—much appreciated. All staff members were attentive and professional, making our trip very pleasant. The room is small but offers comfortable beds and is very quiet. It would be nice to have coffee in the room as an option alongside Japanese tea. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. While there’s no great view from the rooms due to many nearby hotels at Hachijo Exit, the 3rd-floor lobby has large glass windows on two sides, creating a spacious atmosphere. Before boarding the Shinkansen, we picked up our stored luggage and spent some relaxing time gazing at Kyoto Station. We’ll definitely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality!

    Convenient Hotel near Kyoto Station

    Since I started visiting Kyoto to combine my trips with visits to Ohtani Hombyo (Onishi-san) for my parents' perpetual memorial services, I have made it a point to choose hotels near the station. Among them, this Hotel, located closest to Kyoto Station's Hachijo Exit, has been my choice several times. The convenience of being able to leave luggage at the Hotel and shop hands-free or walk to Toji Temple until just before boarding the Shinkansen is truly appreciated. During a stay before COVID-19, I even had the rare experience of seeing Their Majesties the Emperor Emeritus and Empress Emerita arrive at Hachijo Exit from inside the Hotel. The twin rooms overlooking Kyoto Station's Shinkansen platform feel slightly compact but are practically sufficient. The service provided by international staff is also entirely satisfactory. The breakfast buffet offers dishes like diced fresh salmon and delicious potato salad that suit my taste perfectly, making it enjoyable even for a two-night stay. The restaurant has been renovated with bright pastel-colored decor, which is pleasant; however, considering that many guests are quite large in stature, having more spacious seating would be an improvement. For instance, while dining normally seated at my table, I was repeatedly bumped into by other guests passing behind me who said "Excuse me" multiple times. Additionally, the capacity of the two elevators feels insufficient (partly due to guests' larger builds), and their speed could be improved as well. However, as long as it remains reasonably priced, I would definitely like to stay at this Hotel again in the future. Thank you so much!

    Relay Hub

    Stopped by during my trip. Convenient access from Kyoto Station, and the front desk staff were kind. It would have been even better if there was an air purifier.

    Great location

    I stayed here the night before my trip as my list of places to visit in Kyoto grew. The accommodation is conveniently located near Kyoto Station, and I was able to stay at a more reasonable price using points compared to other sites. The downside was that there was only one elevator, which took some time to arrive. However, the front desk staff were kind and accommodating, offering luggage storage and umbrella rentals as needed. The facilities such as the bathroom, sink, and outlets were slightly outdated (though the shower and hairdryer were Refa). There was no complimentary bottled water provided. Still, the location near the station made it incredibly convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have another opportunity!

    I stayed in the same...

    I stayed in the same room for two nights on this business trip. There were various initiatives to reduce environmental impact, such as a system where guests can inform staff of their preferences regarding room cleaning and the exchange of sheets and towels using door hangers, and minimizing the use of plastic in packaging. Indeed, having sheets and bath mats changed daily is a wonderful service, but I realized that for a Multiple Night Stay of about two days, not changing sheets unnecessarily might be more effective when considering staff workload and environmental impact. The room was a bit small but comfortable with basic amenities like a refrigerator, TV, kettle, and Wi-Fi all provided.

    It was very convenient and comfortable.

    It was very convenient as it was very close to Kyoto Station. The facilities and amenities were well-equipped, allowing for a comfortable stay. The service was also courteous, making it a pleasant experience. I used a plan that included breakfast. The food was also delicious. I would definitely like to use it again when I visit Kyoto.

    If you're staying alone in Kyoto, it's more than enough.

    I planned to stay in Kyoto and then go to work, as the year-end party was expected to end late. Checked in at midnight and woke up at 6 AM to depart. I was able to stay cheaply with IKYU Points, and the room's size, cleanliness, and the convenience of being in front of Kyoto Station were all satisfactory. I will use it again.

    Beautiful

    I was looking for a hotel that I could reach without getting lost, so it was perfect. When I checked in, I was given an explanation about the Accommodation Tax, but the initial amount and the corrected amount were different. Although I paid, I wasn't convinced, so I asked the next day and received a polite explanation. I was given a proper explanation and was convinced. I would like to use it again. One thing to mention, recently many hotels have bottled water available, so I thought there would be some and didn't buy any in advance. I hope it will be provided.

    The location is appreciated.

    It was a convenient location in front of the crosswalk to Hachijoguchi. I think it's a new Hotel, but there was tape repair on the headboard of the bed in the room? And the counter desk was bumpy, hmm? Well, it's not a big deal if you don't mind, but it bothered me a little. The front desk staff seemed to be foreigners, but they responded in polite Japanese despite being unfamiliar. The slow elevator was a concern.

    Convenient in front of the station

    Recently, the price increase of hotels in Kyoto has been severe. After searching various options, I found this place to be reasonable and made my first reservation here. I checked in without much expectation, thinking it would be fine as long as I could sleep. The hotel front was narrow and felt a bit off, but the room was not as small as I had thought, and it was clean and nice. The shower head and hairdryer were Refa, and the bathwater flow was good. Even though it was in front of the station, the room was quiet, and I slept well. There is an Aeon shopping center within a 5-minute walk, and above all, the location in front of the station was very convenient. On the last day, I left my luggage and enjoyed sightseeing to the fullest, and the bus stop to the airport was right in front, which was really convenient. In Kyoto, I spend most of the day outside, and the hotel is just for sleeping, so it was sufficient.

    It was very helpful ...

    It was very helpful that it was close to the station and they stored our luggage. However, I was troubled by the poor internet connection, and when I called, I was told that I needed to connect to Wifi. I wish they had informed me at check-in.

    Convenient with good access.

    Kyoto Station is right in front. It's so convenient for shopping, dining, and transportation that I want to repeat my stay.

    Convenient hotel just a short walk from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit.

    The hotel is affordable, the building is still new, and above all, it is in a convenient location. Due to the area, there are many foreigners, and the breakfast venue has a pop color scheme with plastic chairs reminiscent of a beach house, which is amusing. However, with the efficient staff and a breakfast that is creatively seasoned for foreigners while allowing a slight taste of Kyoto, I felt it was a hotel to enjoy casually. The congestion at check-in was as expected, so I might use it again in the future.

    It was a nice room.

    Facing the south exit of Kyoto Station, with a convenience store (7-Eleven) right behind and a partner parking lot nearby. The access is top-notch. The lobby, elevators, and other facilities are clean. The room is adequately spacious. I wish there was a large public bath. Also, it might have been just during my stay, but I found the fragrance scent to be quite strong. So, I deducted one point from a perfect score.
