  It was comfortable.

  The view of Matsuyama Castle was great, and it looked especially beautiful at sunset. The Room was also clean. I’m not a fan of unit baths, so having the bath and toilet separate made my stay comfortable. However, I would have liked a wash basin in the bathroom.

  Make your busy business trip more fulfilling

  As this property was converted from a long-established Hotel, the building is solid and has an upscale feel. The interior has been renovated and is spotless, and the card-key system provides reliable security. In-Room drinks are well stocked: enjoy two coffees plus one green tea and one black tea with the drip machine. Breakfast includes plenty of local specialties, so even if you arrive late at night and leave early in the morning, you can still enjoy a bit of sightseeing atmosphere.

  Matsuyama Castle was beautifully visible.

  I arrived at night and left after breakfast, so I didn’t have much time to relax, but I was able to see the sunrise over Matsuyama Castle beautifully. It was disappointing that there was only tea in the Room and no coffee. However, coffee to take back to the Room was available at the breakfast venue. The front desk staff were very courteous.

Two of the highlights of our breakfast—“Nanyo-style Uwajima sea bream sashimi tai-meshi” and “Chuyo-style cooked tai-meshi”—can be enjoyed not only by comparing the two, but also as ochazuke (rice with tea) so you can experience a change in flavor. Please be sure to try them on your next visit. In addition, the sunrise seen from your Castle View type Room is sure to provide a wonderful wake-up call and a perfect start to the day. We would be delighted if you were able to begin your day feeling refreshed. Regarding in-room coffee, this service is available only for select higher-grade Rooms.   Near the moat of Matsumoto Castle

  It was very convenient, close to Matsumoto Station and Matsumoto Castle, with a tram stop and a convenience store right next door.\nI also had a comfortable stay throughout.

  Hotel with a delicious breakfast buffet

  I always look forward to the breakfast buffet when staying here. The menu is extensive, and I would love to stay again.

  Hotel Life

  Great location, close to the airport and perfect for exploring the city. The room had no non-smoking option, but it was made comfortable with deodorant spray. Convenient for shopping, visiting Onsen, and going anywhere.

  Location only

  The Room was very dirty, with dust accumulating on the upper walls and corners. At night, outside noise can be loud, which might bother light sleepers. The refrigerator is extremely noisy and cannot be turned off as there is no switch. The front desk staff, particularly the female staff members, were unfriendly. Several of them had the same attitude, so it seems to be a standard practice there. When asking about the Wi-Fi, their explanations were unclear and confusing. The male staff members were average in terms of service. The only positive experience was with the parking lot attendant—he was very friendly and considerate towards guests' needs.

  The sea bream buffet breakfast is incredibly delicious!

  The breakfast buffet featuring local "tai" Japanese and Western dishes was very delicious. Thanks to that, I skipped lunch.

  The view outside the window is beautiful.

  We didn't request it, but an extra bed for children was provided. The view of Matsuyama Castle and the moat from the window was incredibly beautiful and soothing. We'll visit again!
