    Please do a more thorough job cleaning.

    I left a note in the Room and checked out, so I will refrain from going into details here, but there were also a few areas where the cleaning was not thorough. Other than that, I had no complaints, but it still bothers me, so I will not consider this property in the future.

    First Stay in Mito

    We stayed here after watching a soccer match. The parking entrance was easy to find, and although we were worried about finding a space since it was the weekend, we were able to park without any issues. The front desk staff and other team members were friendly and helpful. The Room was a good size for our needs, and the amenities were sufficient. Since it’s located near the station, there were plenty of places for dinner, but because it was the weekend and we didn’t make a Reservation, we ended up walking around for a while (laughs). For breakfast, we enjoyed a relaxed meal at “Hananomai” on the first floor. Compared with central Tokyo there weren’t as many options, but everything tasted great with well-balanced flavors. If we come to Mito again to watch soccer, we would be happy to stay here again.

    Very satisfied with the convenient location near the station.

    You can reach Mito Station via the pedestrian deck, and you can park conveniently in the adjacent commercial Facility’s multi-story parking garage with 24-hour in-and-out access. The room was also well cleaned, and we had a comfortable stay. The amenities were well stocked. There is no large public bath, but we were able to relax with the carbonated bath salts provided as an amenity.

    It is a clean and well-designed system.

    I often stay at so-called luxury hotels in Tokyo, but staying here made me realize the charm of a business hotel with newly renovated and spacious rooms. I appreciated being able to take coffee, tea, and amenities for my room at my own discretion. Personally, I was delighted to find bath additives like Bathclin and skincare products from DHC such as lotion and cream. During my previous stay, I was confined to the room for office work. At that time, I found it very convenient that instead of cleaning service, towels and water were hung on the door handle upon request. Although I didn’t use it myself, I thought it was very handy that you could check the availability of the coin laundry on the TV screen in your room. The hotel does not have an attached restaurant; however, Mito Station offers various cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby so there were no inconveniences at all. In fact, it's great that such maintenance costs are not reflected in the accommodation fee. The single rooms have desks suitable for computer work while twin rooms are spacious—both were comfortable options. I would definitely stay here again!

    Hotel adjacent to the station

    The rooms at Daiwa Roynet Hotel are spacious and clean, which is great. In Mito, the bathroom and washing area are not separate, but the bathtub is relatively large and comfortable. Perhaps because it was a twin room, there was no desk, which might be slightly inconvenient for work. Check-in is done via a machine. Amenities can be picked up during check-in, allowing you to take only what you need—this might actually be better than using pre-stocked items in the room. The Hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes from the station. There are also restaurants inside the station building, making it convenient for meals as well. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Kōdōkan in Mito, and I recommend visiting it. Kōdōkan has more attractions than expected and was very enjoyable!

    Good Hotel, but...

    The room was clean, and the stay was comfortable. However, the elevator was often crowded, and I had to wait twice to get on, which was frustrating. When guests from the underground parking lot boarded, it became impossible to stop at the 3rd-floor station connection level. The long check-in line also caught my attention. Even with an online reservation and payment completed in advance, filling out your address, name, and phone number at the front desk is still required. Additionally, you have to queue again at a check-in machine to receive your room key card. This process needs improvement as it diminishes the purpose of prepayment. Especially when arriving tired at the Hotel after a long day, how quickly check-in is handled can significantly impact one's impression of their stay—positively or negatively.

    Clean and convenient Hotel, but smelled of tobacco.

    The hotel is conveniently located directly connected to Mito Station and offers free in-and-out parking, making it very accessible. However, despite requesting a non-smoking room, there was a smell of tobacco coming from the ventilation system, and both the pillows and sheets had a strong tobacco odor, which was unpleasant. It seems to be priced higher than the average around Mito Station. Unfortunately, this made it difficult to enjoy what could have been a great room as I couldn't sleep well.

    Renovated for enhanced comfort.

    Conveniently located near the station, this reliable Hotel group offers consistent service levels across all locations. I have stayed here before, but after the renovation, the Room atmosphere has become brighter and more comfortable. Additionally, during this stay, I had to extend my stay unexpectedly, and their flexible handling of the process was very helpful.

    Excellent location, newly renovated for your comfort

    Located just outside the south exit of Mito Station, the building is easy to find. The station building offers plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The Room being on the same floor as the front desk was convenient, but there was almost no view from the window due to signs and other obstructions. The Room itself was newly renovated, spacious, and clean. The toilet, bathroom, and sink were integrated into one space, which might not suit everyone's preference; however, the bathtub was relatively spacious and comfortable. The hairdryer had strong airflow, which left a positive impression. If there were separate bathrooms or a large public bath available, it would have been a perfect score for satisfaction!

    There are issues with cleaning and customer service.

    The explanation from the front desk staff varied depending on the guest, which was unpleasant. I was not given an explanation, but the next day, they explained it properly to others, which made me wonder what was going on. Additionally, the cleaning was insufficient, with hair stuck to the bathroom walls and previous stains on the bed sheets, which was disappointing. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff at the breakfast venue were attentive. The hotel was somewhat disappointing, more than I imagined. I would not recommend it to family or friends.

    It was very convenient and clean.

    The access was excellent as it was adjacent to the station. The lady at the front desk was very kind, and I was happy to find bath additives among the amenities. The Room was very clean, and the washbasin was slightly spacious, which was nice. Thank you for taking care of us!
