    Thank you for the complimentary shaved ice.

    I booked a triple Room, but it felt a bit small. It was like a full extra bed had been added to a twin Room. The welcome shaved ice was delicious. I appreciated that it was free.

    Just the right level of comfort. A reassuring stay in Hamamatsu

    The location was convenient, with easy access from the station, making it ideal for sightseeing and getting around. The Room was clean and comfortable, allowing me to relax and unwind. The staff were courteous and attentive, which made me feel at ease throughout my stay. It was a comfortable Hotel, and I would like to stay here again when I visit Hamamatsu. Thank you very much!!

    Local specialty

    The quality of the Hotel bed was great, and it was amazing to be able to enjoy local specialties at breakfast.\nBeing able to eat eel in the morning really lifted my spirits.\nI’d love to stay again if I have the chance.

    Parking available for large vehicles.

    Since we traveled by car, it was very helpful that the Hotel had parking available and allowed vehicles up to 2 meters wide. Thank you as well to the front desk staff for their courteous assistance.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night, but the parking lot was hard to find, and I got a bit lost. The Room and bedding were very comfortable and easy to sleep in. Breakfast was not great, and it seemed like restocking wasn't keeping up. However, the eel is highly recommended and was delicious.

    Breakfast is excellent.

    The breakfast was great. It was also wonderful that the café could be used as a lounge. At check-in, I was informed that the café serves as a lounge until 7 PM with free drinks available. Additionally, there was a complimentary shaved ice service until 5 PM, but since I had just eaten shaved ice beforehand, it would have been even better if I had known about it in advance (though I still enjoyed it). The location is close to Hamamatsu Castle, allowing for a pleasant morning walk. Thank you for your hospitality!

    That's unfortunate.

    I accidentally reserved a smoking room and requested a room change, but it was fully booked, so the change was not possible. I accepted this as unavoidable. However, the smell of tobacco from the air purifier was overwhelming, so I asked for it to be replaced. The way the staff initially declined my request was terrible. While I was looking for another hotel, another staff member ran after me and said they would do what they could. They replaced the air purifier for me. Being a Business Hotel, perhaps this is to be expected, but I wish there had been more empathetic customer service. It was truly disappointing. For non-smokers like me, staying in such a room is really tough...

    Staff in training

    The other staff members were very accommodating, which made me compare them, but the expression of the staff member in training was surprisingly intimidating. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

    A clean Business Hotel.

    Stayed for an event in Hamamatsu. The young front desk staff were very kind and left a great impression. The room was spacious, the bed was large, and I could stay at a very reasonable price. I forgot something in the car parked in the multi-story parking lot, but the staff member kindly assisted me, which I greatly appreciated. It made me feel that such actions reflect the hotel's policy. I've become a fan of Richmond Hotel!

    Cost-effective Hamamatsu Hotel

    Although it is a bit far from the station, it is close to downtown and Hamamatsu Castle. If traveling by car, you can stay in a spacious Room at a great value. However, there are no convenience stores nearby, but the vending machines inside the facility are well-stocked.

    Double circle for the front staff's likability!

    The front staff's friendliness was excellent. Both during check-in and check-out, they guided us with a wonderful smile! This alone enhanced the comfort level. The Room, although slightly old-fashioned, was clean and had a spacious desk for work, which was convenient. Also, the bed was very comfortable. Meals are buffet-style at the café next door. As expected of Hamamatsu, there was eel rice and Hamamatsu gyoza, and we enjoyed very delicious meals at reasonable prices. I think it's a Hotel with great cost performance.

    Simmons beds offer the ultimate comfort for a good night's sleep.

    I stayed for a slightly longer period of 5 nights. The distance from the station is a bit far, so I used buses and taxis when in a hurry, but when I had time, it was just right for a walk. Hamamatsu Castle is also nearby in a calm area, and there are plenty of Italian and other restaurants around. The breakfast was delicious, including local dishes such as eel rice bowl and Hamamatsu dumplings. The front desk staff were pleasant and provided various information. Above all, the Simmons bed was extremely comfortable, and the memory foam pillow was gentle on the neck, which was appreciated. Moreover, the accommodation cost was reasonable! I will use it again.

    The bed is comfortable.

    Although I booked a single room, I was upgraded to a semi-double bed. The futon and mattress were just the right firmness, allowing me to sleep well.

    First time use.

    First time use. No excessive service, just a minimal feel. The entertainment district and station are within walking distance, making it convenient. Parking is available on-site and a few minutes' walk away. The Room is clean and compact. The breakfast buffet featured local specialties and was good. Hamamatsu gyoza and eel chazuke were delightful.

    Very good

    This time, I used this hotel for the first time during my trip to Hamamatsu. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating, which made me feel at ease. Also, the room was clean and I was able to spend my time comfortably. As the reviews said, the breakfast was delicious, and personally, the eel rice was the best. I would like to use this hotel again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.
