    Make it your go-to Accommodation!

    Breakfast was excellent. There were also Miyagi specialties, which we enjoyed. The Room was easy to use, and we would like to make this our regular Accommodation.

    Highly satisfied!

    The amenities were abundant, and the lounge was very convenient to use. The rooms were newly renovated last year, making them bright and clean. There were many families with small children and international guests, making it lively, though some guests' manners could be a concern. ...This is entirely an issue with certain guests and not the Hotel's responsibility. At the Royal Host within the Hotel, they kindly seated us close to the food area as I was with my elderly mother, allowing us to enjoy delicious meals for three days. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I look forward to staying again!

    A wonderful accommodation reborn after the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The accommodation has undergone an impressive transformation, both in terms of facilities and services, after serving as a facility for COVID-19 patients during the long pandemic. The new system of taking only the necessary amenities from the lobby floor is convenient, and the addition of complimentary drinks and ice cream is delightful. While the breakfast location and style remain unchanged, the delicious dishes made with Sendai ingredients are highly appealing. Its proximity to both the station and Jozenji-dori makes it ideal not only for business but also for enjoying events like Sendai Pageant of Starlight. The staff are unpretentious, kind, and leave a positive impression.

    Amenities and snacks are plentiful!

    I stayed here for a trip to Sendai. The amenities were very abundant, including complimentary snacks and soft-serve ice cream, which were greatly appreciated. Additionally, the lounge exclusively for annex accommodation guests offered welcome drinks with alcohol and a calm space for computer work, providing an exceptionally high level of hospitality despite being a business hotel.

    It was disappointing that complimentary mineral water was not provided. The breakfast buffet and the select menu beef tongue at Royal Host were very delicious.

    The room was new with excellent amenities, a playroom for kids, complimentary snacks, and free soft-serve ice cream. The services were outstanding. The view from the room was of the city, which is understandable, but I rated it a 4. Everything else was very satisfying.

    Very nice Hotel. Early check-in at 2 PM and smooth, convenient parking. Free soft-serve ice cream was a delightful bonus. Amenities were easily accessible and great. The elevator was fast. Cleaning staff greeting guests is rare for a Business Hotel—something even the Westin didn’t emphasize before! The Room with a projector and large screen for YouTube was fantastic. Highly recommended Business Hotel!

    Good Hotel

    This time, I stayed in the annex, which was different from before, but it was very clean and comfortable. The services like the soup bar and soft-serve ice cream were also of high quality.

    This stay was terrible.

    On the first night of my stay, when I drained the bathwater, it flowed into the toilet area. I immediately called the front desk, but they informed me that they didn’t have the necessary parts and would address it the next day. However, even on the following day, I had to ask for an update myself. They assured me it was fixed, but the same issue occurred again. Additionally, despite requesting daily cleaning services, no vacuuming was done. To make matters worse, there were a lot of hairs stuck on the shower curtain and one of the buttons on my in-room wear was missing. I stayed at this hotel two months ago and had a good experience then; however, after this visit, I will never stay here again.

    It was a lovely Room.

    At first, it felt a bit far, but that was just because I wasn't familiar with the area. Once I got used to the geography around Sendai Station, it turned out to be a very convenient location. The amenities were plentiful, the room was spacious and clean, and I enjoyed the free drink and soft-serve ice cream service. Perhaps due to visiting during a typhoon, my room was upgraded. It had an unusual feature—a sauna in the room! Even though I'm not usually a sauna enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed it thanks to the large TVs placed on both sides of the living space and bathroom (with separate controls), allowing access to various apps. If there's one thing I'd mention as a downside, it's that the ice maker in the room was quite noisy while at maximum volume; meanwhile, even with TV sound at its highest setting, it still felt quiet—making coexistence difficult. Since you can make ice in a regular fridge or get some from the drink corner anyway, having no ice maker might actually be simpler overall!

    Hotels full of happiness

    From the moment I stepped off the elevator onto my room's floor, there was a pleasant fragrance that made every elevator ride feel elegant. The service was excellent and of high quality. The room's poncho and separate pajamas were comfortable to wear, the shampoo had a lovely scent and left my hair smooth, and there were more than enough clean bath towels and other towels provided for the number of guests. The toilet played bird sounds upon entry, which I found thoughtful. The refrigerator was spacious with a properly functioning freezer, which was also a great feature. The air conditioning was the best I've experienced in any accommodation so far—likely because it’s new—and it made my stay very comfortable. It was my first time experiencing an in-room sauna, and I didn’t expect it to be this enjoyable! The private sauna added so much comfort to my stay. Located in a business district, the hotel offers secure multi-story parking facilities, which gave me peace of mind. Despite the heat outside, the staff energetically guided me with kindness—it truly made me happy! This hotel exceeded all expectations—thank you very much!

    Always satisfied.

    It was crowded with children, likely due to the summer vacation, but it made the atmosphere lively and enjoyable. Richmond Hotel seems to be very popular. Thanks to IKYU and the Hotel, I was able to stay at a reasonable price.

    Perfect for stays with children

    Overall, this is an accommodation with excellent service. If I had to point out something, it would be that the sound of children running could be heard from the upper floors due to the many families staying with kids. Also, it would have been nice if there were more breakfast buffet options that children might enjoy. From the attentive staff to the wide variety of amenities that cater to every need, including a kids' space and entertainment items for adults, this accommodation is enjoyable for friends or couples as well. The large projector screen in the room was simply outstanding. Located near nightlife spots such as izakayas and restaurants, it's also a great choice for business travelers or those without children. As long as you bring a change of clothes for the next day, everything else you might need is provided by the hotel, making both preparation before your stay and tidying up afterward much easier at this thoughtful accommodation.

    Room with sauna, making my husband very happy!

    At first glance, the exterior of the Hotel made me think, "Oh no, is this an old Hotel?" However, once inside, I was amazed at how incredibly clean and pleasant it was. We stayed in a Room with a sauna, and not just the sauna but every part of the Room was spotless and perfect. Most importantly, my husband was thrilled with the sauna Facility! With adjustable temperatures up to 100°C, a löyly feature, a cold bath with a chiller system, and reclining chairs that go up to 180 degrees for ultimate relaxation—it provided an ideal sauna experience. If we visit Sendai again, we will definitely stay here!

    The newly renovated Hotel offers very clean rooms with new facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The lounge in the lobby, complete with complimentary drinks, is the perfect spot to take a break during your journey and refresh yourself. When I contacted the Hotel before my arrival, their prompt response and the staff's attentive service made me feel truly cared for.

    The service and the room were satisfactory. However, while the relaxation space had drinks and was nice, it was difficult to relax due to the presence of many children. Separating the kids' room from the relaxation space might allow for a truly relaxing experience.

    Too comfortable!

    Stayed for one night, captivated by the sauna-equipped room. The top floor with sauna-equipped rooms has a pleasant aroma designed for saunas. The staff's guided tour of the Room was very helpful. The layout is perfect, with a bedroom, sauna room, shower, bathtub, and relaxation space all well-connected. Aromatherapy oils were provided, and self-pouring löyly was unlimited. You can even watch TV from the sauna room—be careful not to stay too long! Check-in was at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM; however, one night felt too short because it was so comfortable. Since it's only been six months since renovation, the fresh scent of newness is delightful as well. Until 9 PM, unlimited coffee, soft drinks, and soft serve ice cream are available—not to mention the impressive amenities! While it’s not priced like a typical Business Hotel stay, considering how much thought has gone into these Rooms makes it feel like great value for money. I checked out thinking I’d love to stay again someday. Truly impressed by everything!

    The Hotel is satisfactory with no issues. However, being handed a paper without being informed about the extremely cumbersome process of transferring the Richmond card to a smartphone was a problem.

    Ideal for solo female travelers.

    Because I have a dust allergy, I always write my requests first and then make a Reservation. They provide an air purifier, and the Room is very clean. I often use this place for last-minute stays, and I’m satisfied.

    Hotel in a Quiet Environment

    I used this facility for a conference. It is located in a quiet area (Kakyoin) not too far from Sendai Station, surrounded by greenery, providing a calm environment. The facility was clean after renovation, and amenities were plentiful. Meals at the adjacent family restaurant were satisfactory.

    Free drinks available on the lobby floor!

    The check-in time communicated during the reservation was delayed by several minutes as cleaning was not yet completed. Perhaps there is a staff shortage? However, the lounge exclusive to guests was well-equipped with soft drinks and ice cream, which earned high points. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, and being my first visit, I got slightly lost nearby. The guest room exceeded expectations with walls designed as screens, allowing me to enjoy YouTube on a large display.

    Services differ between the main building and the annex, so please take note.

    I booked a double room in the annex but was assigned a double room in the main building instead. I planned to do some light exercise at the gym and came prepared, but I was told, "Guests staying in the main building cannot use it without an additional fee," which was frustrating. Since the accommodation changed my room without notice, this policy felt unreasonable. I lost interest and decided not to use it. Both buildings should have equal access to such facilities. If that’s not possible, it might be better not to include such facilities at all to avoid dissatisfaction. The room in the main building was newly renovated and very clean, which was great. However, the desk space was extremely limited, and while there was a large sofa, it felt more obstructive than useful for business purposes like setting up a laptop or working efficiently. Although I haven’t stayed in the annex before, it seems more suitable for business trips. The toilet and bath were clean but quite small—don’t expect too much. Breakfast provided by Royal Host featured local flavors and was delicious—highly recommended!

    Highly satisfying! A Hotel recommended for sauna enthusiasts.

    When visiting my hometown of Sendai, I was looking for a good sauna as a sauna enthusiast and discovered that this hotel had undergone a full renovation, including the addition of sauna-equipped rooms. I decided to stay here. The newly renovated hotel exudes cleanliness throughout the front desk, lobby, guest rooms, and saunas. Thoughtful touches designed from the user's perspective can be felt everywhere. The lobby features free drinks, snacks, soft-serve ice cream, and a spacious kids' area. With its well-equipped amenities, it caters to both business travelers and families. The guest room not only offers standard accommodation facilities but also an excellent sauna setup. The sauna area includes a sauna room, cold bath, regular bath, and relaxation space efficiently arranged with great flow in a compact design—clearly crafted with care for sauna enthusiasts. The refrigerator even came stocked with two bottles each of Oronamin C and Pocari Sweat for making "Oropo," which was a delightful touch. I enjoyed multiple sessions in the sauna and felt completely relaxed. Additionally, during check-in, one of the staff members who is also passionate about saunas provided an enjoyable and detailed explanation of how to use the facilities right in my room. Sendai has many attractive saunas; however, this hotel is one I would choose again specifically for its exceptional offerings!

    It was a very comfortable Hotel.

    I initially planned to stay at this Hotel in Sendai for one night, but it was so comfortable that I extended my stay by two more nights. The parking lot was convenient with flat parking, and the lobby offered a wide range of amenities, including drinks and even soft-serve ice cream, which were impressive services not found in other Hotels. The Room was clean and the bathroom facilities were excellent. I will definitely choose this Hotel again when visiting Sendai.
